Elin Nordegren Takes Her Kids for a Checkup

Elin Nordegren has her hands full as she walks to the doctor’s office on Tuesday (February 9) in Windermere, Fla.

The 30-year-old model and wife of Tiger Woods got an arm workout as she carried Sam, 2, and Charlie, who turned 1 yesterday, out to the car after a checkup at the pediatrician’s.

Elin and Tiger’s wedding pastor, Reverend Ricky Kirton, told People that he thinks the couple’s marriage will last as long as Elin can forgive Tiger and “[put] the past away.”

“Remember these four phrases,” Reverend Kirton said. “I was wrong. I am sorry. Please forgive me. I love you.”

Kate Bosworth flags down a cab outside of her hotel in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (February 9).

The 27-year-old blonde beauty recently attended a dinner party with True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard on the tented patio of West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont. People reports she “got up to talk to him and had her arm around his neck, and even snuck him a kiss on the lips. Eventually sitting next to each other, they were even more affectionate, rubbing each other’s backs and sharing kisses.”

Kate is a big supporter of Rag & Bone — it’s likely she’ll attend Friday’s show during NY Fashion Week.

Spring Awakening , a musical set in the late 19th century that depicts teenagers discovering their sexualities, took home eight Tony Awards in 2007.

“This work really requires people who have got enough perspective and distance on their adolescence, and enough maturity to be able to interpret it,” Cate told The Australian.

“Usually when Spring Awakening is performed it’s done by people in their late 20s,” she continued. “But we’ve deliberately sought — and found — younger people who are able to do it. It’s really quite raw and confronting.”

JJ: Could you tell us about your character, Nate?

KP: He goes by the name of Nate, he owns a bar that he lives above and he sort of is a ne’er-do-well who refuses to grow up, I suppose, until he is confronted with his 15-year-old daughter who he had with own Portland’s own Cate Cassidy and he sort of, without a moment of hesitation, decides to try to be a father figure to this kid and hijinks ensue. Hijinks and high drama!

JJ: What’s your favorite prop from the set?

KP: (laughs) The prop that’s gotten the most use and that we’ve talked about the most is a bong lamp - it’s a lamp that my character had as a college student, let’s say, and then they turned it into a lamp. He gifts it to Lux and you’ll see it in the episode as it unfolds - but I would have to say that that’s probably my favorite prop!

Anne Hathaway and Jessica Alba hit the red carpet in style at the Hollywood premiere of Valentine’s Day, held on Monday (February 8) at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

The 27-year-old actress wore a gown by Marchesa with Garrard jewelry, shoes by Casadei and a Roger Vivier bag, while Jessica paired a dress and bag by Proenza Schouler with shoes by Marc Jacobs and jewelry by Anndra Neen.

Jessica recently sat down with MTV and talked about her views on dating dos and don’ts. “Absolutely pick it up,” she said about paying for the check at a dinner out. “Pick it up. Hopefully she offers, but that’s just a gesture. You should pick it up.”

Beyonce shoots a guest spot in Alicia Keys’ new music video “Put It In a Love Song” in the Morro da Conceicao slum of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Tuesday (February 9).

Beyonce is also rumored to star in the remake of the classic A Star Is Born. Russell Crowe may play the aging, alcoholic musician who mentors and falls in love with Beyonce’s character.

Skater Nancy Kerrigan’s father, Daniel Kerrigan, who passed away late last month, will have his death treated as a homicide, investigators say.

The Middlesex, Mass. D.A.’s office released a statement today saying, “The Medical Examiner determined that the cause of death was cardiac dysrhytmia following a physical altercation with neck compression causing injury to the neck in the form of a cartilage fracture to the larynx area, in a person with hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular heart disease” (via People).

Early reports indicated that Daniel, 70, and his son, Mark, 45, had an altercation over using the phone. Mark was charged with assault and battery in late January.

Nancy’s mother, Brenda, said last month that her husband died of a heart attack and that she didn’t think anything suspicious had happened.
