OlderElijah Wood Mardi Gras
New Orleans, Louisiana :: The good times rolled yesterday in New Orleans, just six months after Hurricane Katrina. Lord of the Ring actors Elijah Wood, 25, and Sean Astin, 35, went wild and and crazy returning as Mardi Gras’ Kings of Bacchus during the New Orleans Bacchus Parade. Elijah and Sean threw out beaded necklaces and other trinkets to all the party goers as one biggest and glitziest parades rolled through the city. Sean Astin plays CTU’s own personal hobbit as officious Homeland Security liaison Lynn McGill on FOX’s 24. Elijah Wood will be starring in Emilio Estevez’s Bobby, which tells the story of the assassination of U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy.

B- I want to add that some of us are quite concerned for Pam and Elijah’s safety at her band’s concerts. Some of the haters really have sounded very threatening and Pam and Elijah are so vulnerable to physical attack at these shows.Celebrities have been attacked before. I never want to see such a terrible thing happen to Elijah and Pam.I hope that they have very good security protection from these haters.

Until then, the people spreading hate and anger on the internet are just letting off their own steam behind the wonderful clouded barrier of protection that is a computer screen. "Yes. I understand all that. But these haters are more than just letting off harmless steam they are also attacking other fans viciously everywhere they go online. They are virtual stalkers not only of Pam and Elijah but many of us out here who may not be famous but are real flesh and blood people with feelings, too.You see how they talk and curse at me but that is nothing to what has been done to some others who have been hounded nearly to death. Literally.This is something evil that is going on.It’s not just fun and games online it is hurtful abuse, slander, verbal assault and bullying of the worst kind.It IS illegal and can be prosecuted. I’m sorry, but if you are being hounded on the internet, turn the computer off, walk away and go back to your normal life. There needs to be a sense of reality in this situation. I can understand that you’re concerned about Elijah & Pam and their safety, but that is their business, and their responsibility. If either of them were seriously worried about somebody attacking them, they would do something about it. And that is all I have to say on the matter because I have the feeling this conversation will go on forever."
