Although I love George Clooney and anything he says is ok by me because I am hypnotized by the man. That is one FINE looking White man. Geez. I just need ten minutes with you George - Ten! Love him!
Does anyone know what Stewart said before Aniston presented that pissed her off - apparently something about adopting kids? Is this true? I missed it - goddammit!!!
TO QUESTION #27: He did not say it right before Aniston. Nut his first joke of the evening was that Millions were watching accross the glob, half of which were being adopted by Angelina Jolie - he also said he as on the wait list (for her to adopt him). I thought that was funny. Also shows he probably lusts for Angie - of course.Maniston looked busted. Her Chin looked better than her nose, i fyou can believe it.
Does anyone know if Thandie Newton was at the Oscars? I love her. She was in Crash. She is the actress in the picture with Matt Dillon above (the one saved from the burning car). She is amazing. Why did she not present at the Oscars instead of Aniston who was not even in a nominated film this year. Not cool.
Let’s face it ! Prejudice still exists and will continue to rear its ugly head sadly for generations to come. We all have our picks as to which film should have won, but are we looking at it from a cinematic view or personal preference? There are those that didn’t like Crash because it was "in your face prejudice" that is still alive and marinating in our politically correct society today. The acting was superb and was given its’ due based on its cinematic qualities and not because it was time to give "Them" an Oscar. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the Oscars will lose more of its audience because a film like Crash won. However, I will say that it stands to increase its audience because a film like Crash did win. I do agree that the Academy was really off track when they selected the song "Hard Out Here for a Pimp" for song of the year. Now to me, that was really a slap in the face, when you think of all the other songs that should have been nominated and won as well. I think all films should be judged on their own merits and not and not based on our personal preferences.
