New York City, NY :: The premiere of Ask the Dust (Limited Release :: March 10, Wide Release :: March 17) was held last night at the Tribeca Grand Hotel sponsored by The Cinema Society and Piaget bringing in celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. Ask the Dust stars Colin Farrell, Salma Hayek, Idina Menzel (Rent, Wicked) and William Mapother (Tom Cruise’s cousin). My question is… WHERE’S COLIN? Many, many more pictures in the gallery.

Idina Menzel is hot!
Lindsay is a media *****. I love Salma Hayek. She is beautiful both inside and out. Her personality completes the package. If I were a man, I would want her to have my children. I want to be more like Salma. it’s not only her physical side that makes her beauitful. It’s her soul. She’s a goddess amongst women. I’ve always thought she was beautiful. And ever since I found out that she was fighting and speaking up on battered women, as a victim of a brutal attack by a man who got off scott free due to money and corruption in New Rochelle, NY (he was a white male college student of Iona College, the worst school in history and one that New Rochelle’s corrupt cops protect because of the money it brings in to the town and for other racial reasons), I’ve looked at her as a role model now. She is a TRUE actress.

I thought so too. It’s just popular I guess. One is wearing it for a ideo another on the red carpet sure they didn’t plan on it. And Linsay’s job is to be on the red carpet. "media *****" ? How about stop calling people names. A bit childish no?

Jenn, you’re saying it’s "childish" to call someone a media *****? To point out the lack of CLASS in an actor is not "childish". No other actor hangs out on red capets like she does. She does it for publicity. There is a certain way you do things in Hollywood, and that is not one of them. It’s a disgrace. There is a SUBTLE way to go about things, and Lindsay Lohan is nothing but WHITE TRASH. I know where she comes from, and it just confirms her trashiness.
I share A LOT of Love for Lindsay Lohan. She is, by far, one of the quintessential elements of the Hollywood Circuit. It is not her fault, by far, that the media elects to focus upon her celebridom, moreso than they do Amanda Bines, Hilary Duff, Scarlett Johansson, and many of the other young actress’/ starletts who live, breathe and exist amongst the Hollywood elite. This past year has just been her time; wherein soon…as of maybe the summer of 2006, another celebutante will rule the media circuit. I know that many other young celebs are present amongst these events. HOWEVER, when it comes to Lindsay Lohan, the reporters and paparazzi choose to spotlight her existence. What is she suppose to do? HIDE in her hotels on nights where she’s bored and wants to be out? NO. Its unfair to her that she’s judged and chastized based upon the ONE SIDE of her multi faceted life that is projected across magazine covers and television screens. God obviously chose Lindsay to be the "IT GIRL" of the moment. She is indeed dealing with all of the fanfare as only a young woman in her position could possibly do.
