New York, NY :: 29-year-old actress Keri Russell, looking fantastic in a black trenchcoat and scarf, continued to film scenes for Kirsten Sheridan’s August Rush this past Monday in Washington Square Park. The story of August Rush revolves around charismatic young Irish guitarist Louis Rush (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) and sheltered young cellist Lyla Rush (Keri Russell) who have a chance encounter one magical night above in New York’s Washington Square Park, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, August Rush (Freddie Highmore), orphaned by circumstance. Now performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger / mentor / wizard (Robin Williams), August uses his remarkable musical talent to seek the parents from whom he was separated at birth.
