Factory Girl Synopsis :: A beautiful, wealthy young party girl drops out of Harvard in 1965 and heads to New York to become Holly Golightly. When she meets a hungry young, artist named Andy Warhol, he promises to make her the star she always wanted to be. And like a super nova she explodes on the New York scene only to find herself slowly lose grip on reality."

Here are the first Factory Girl stills of Guy Pearce, 38, as Andy Warhol, Sienna Miller, 24, as Edie Sedgwick and Jimmy Fallon, 31, as Chuck Wein. No pictures of Hayden Christensen, 24, as Billy Quinn yet… but stay tuned, I’m sure they’re coming. Bigger pictures in the gallery! ¶ Factory Girl is set for a September 2006 release and I simply cannot wait. I’m just itching to see this movie. The video below is a collection of clips of the real-life Edie Sedgwick put to the tune of The Velvets’ "After Hours." Check it out and compare it to Sienna Miller’s look as Edie and let me know what you think. I think the Factory Girl set, costumes and casting are terrific.

Sienna Miller is a pretty good choice lookswise, but watching the clip of the real Edie, I couldn’t help but notice that in a lot of instances she looks like a short-haired Jennifer Garner. I know! I thought it was weird too, but cut Garner’s hair short and do really dramatic eye makeup, and they look like sisters. Appearancewise, anyway.

kelly u r definitely right… at first i didn’t notice it but then i watched the video once again and undoubtedly jen garner’s face, esp.smile and dimples are very very similar to edie’s

I saw a Jennifer Garner in there too… I personally feel that lookwise, Jennifer Garner herself would be a better choice to channel Edie…

wow, with those dimples you really can see jennifer garner in that vogue photo shoot, though for the most part i kept seeing keira knightley.but speaking of the vogue photo spread…did anyone else notice the split second color shot of her laying there topless that showed up in the middle of showing the vogue photos? haha, i thought of fight club and the porn splicing.

Sienna looks too fat. Kiera Knightly wouldve been good, but she’s a ****** actress….. Sienna is perfect for the role, but she shoulda lost more weight, it just makes it look as tho its gonna be sooo Hollywood.

I saw more Jessica Alba, especially in the beginning few shots.I don’t think Jennifer Garner has the body to pull off Edie Sedgwick. She’s really more of a gamine/waif type, and Jennifer Garner is more chunky and athletic. I don’t think she’s as pretty as Sedgwick either.

Thanks for the vid Jared, I had gotten kind of obsessed with Edie during the filming of the movie then by chance saw & rented Edie Ciao Manhatten today,can’t wait to see it.cool coincidence that you posted it today..I do see Jen Garner when I saw some of the pics, But I see Sienna a little as well and think they made the pefect choices in all the casting for the movie, specially Hayden & Sienna. Edie was just wasting away at the end from all the drugs, too sad.

yeah, all Jennifer Garner likeness aside (and the face is VERY similar), I also think they made the right choice by casting Sienna Miller. She fits the role much better than Katie Holmes ever could. Katie is saccharine, whereas Sienna has a bit of a more cool style to her, and the fact that she is british helps a lot.

Sure, Katie’s cute, Keira’s cute, Jennifer Garner’s cute, but I think, from what I know about Sienna and have seen, both in acting (I think she’s pretty underrated) and in her personal life, I think that she is perfect to BE Edie Sedwick. To, I think, Rif who mentioned Katie Holmes getting the role first, that’s not really true. Sienna was always after and connected to this role, but it got pushed off due to money and obviously because of Hurricane Katrina sweeping through the city they filmed in. I’m surprised to see someone say she should have lost more weight, but it was awful how people were claiming she had an eating disorder during filming when she lost weight for the role.

This is going to be a great film and Sienna is so perfect. I can’t wait to see it. The rest of the cast is just right, but did you read the book? Such a great great book.

Does anyone know if Hayden SINGS? I heard that he patterned his character, Danny, after Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger and one other 60’s star since Dylan didn’t really sanction a total remake of him and Edie. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF HE SINGS?I cannot wait to see it if he does.

Sienna will be great as Edie, she’s got the spirit down and thats a huge part of it. Plus I’m sure Edie would of been stoked to know the, hate this term but, "It girl" of Hollywood is playing her. Its like, second hand mega stardom.And that woman she is kissing is her mum.
