OlderHigh School Musical On The Today Show
Even though I’m well outside of Disney’s key demographic, I’m a sucker for happy-go-lucky musicals and I totally bought into the High School Musical phenomenon. The cast is lovable, the choreography is fun and the music is fresh. I’ve watched the film at least three times and I have the soundtrack on repeat — please tell me I’m not the only High School Musical fanatic outside the target audience of ages 5-14!!!! The Disney Channel Original Movie continues to score big TV ratings and the certified-platinum CD even peaked at the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. The sure-to-be-best-selling DVD version of High School Musical hits stores on Tuesday, May 23rd. High School Musical was directed by choreographer/director Kenny Ortega, who also directed the Disney big-screen musical Newsies, which I also own on DVD.
The cast of High School Musical – Monique Coleman, Vanessa Anne Hutchinson, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel and Ashley Tisdale — performed on the NBC Today show this morning in New York’s Rockefeller Center. The actors also taught some young audience members one of their dance routines. I LOVE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its the best! i have never seen a movie with such a cute cast *ZAC* that could also sing… its great- my sister got me into it and she is a sophmore- . I love to sign along with it . Its the best!!!!! Soarin- Flyin- theres not a star in heaven that we cant reach- if we’re trying- ya were breakin free! o we’re breakin free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!haha

You have no idea how crazy I am over this show… I swear!!! everyone I know loves high school musical… I love every single thing about the movie… thank you so much!!
yeah, i agree with whoever said ‘high school musical grew on me’. at first i really didn’t like it- i’m a musical theatre actor, i’m almost sixteen, and i don’t really know why, it just seemed super cheesy at first. but now my community theatre is thinking about doing high school musical for our summer production- and im excited!and the other person who talked about the movie CAMP- oh my gosh yes! the ‘century plant’ song is my favorite. =] it’s an ok movie, really predictable at times, but i own it and watch it too much.high school musical is a really great movie, one of the best musicals disney has produced [newsies is and always will be my top fav though] and sets a good example for the younger kids who idolize gabriella and troy.hopefully they’ll make more movies like it.
Omg i have seen HSM about 28-30 times, yeah i know but still i absolutley love zac efron but nowadays scince he cut his hair i guess he doensnt seem more attractive…….well to me=D Vannesa anne hudgens is so beautiful i love her voice!!!!!!!!and Ashley tisdale she is so nice i talked to her and she is such a friendly person!! and i also cant wait until HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 COMES OUT!!!oh by the way i am 12 and live in phx!!!!!!

I thought the musical was really enjoyable to watch this is a movie that you can watch over and over and not get tierd of it. I thought it was really great ttyl.-Patrick

Yo watz up!! I LUV HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!! I also know tonz of peoplez who luv it!! Most of my friends are really getting annoyed because I talk about it all the time and they all think that I am obssesed with it & that Im being posessed by some high school musical disease. Still, I ignore them & keep talking bout it!! I luv all of the songs and so far Ive convinced 15 people to watch it & they all luved it (i think) Anyway, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL ROX 4EVA!!!!
I love High School Mucial! its one of the best movies EVER! im kinda obsessed! its fricken awesome! i cant wait to see Zac Efron in the movie version of Hairspray that opens in 2007! im super pumed for that! anyways awesome movie!!
