Brandon Routh, 26, takes the cover of Entertainment Weekly April 14, 2006. Superman Homepage reports, "Routh even knew that Superman did not possess the power of flight in his original comic book adventures. [Bryan] Singer reveals that the interior of the new Daily Planet offices is based on the current offices of New York’s Daily News - which is yet another homage to the original 1978 film, whose Daily Planet building exteriors were actually the New York Daily News building." Superman Returns drops Friday, June 30, 2006. All I have to say about this cover is… SNAKES ON A PLANE!

Routh looks ridiculous on that cover. And couldn’t they somehow change the suit on him, like they did with batman? I didn’t think Routh was that cute at first, but now that I see his face on the cover, I can kinda understand why they chose him. His resemblance, is not the same as, but a LITTLE similar to Reeve’s (bless his youngest son, by the way, for the loss of both parents).
He looks terrible. Actually the whole movie does. It looks cheesy as hell. In fact the whole concept of Superman is cheesy.

Not looking forward to this movie at all. From all that I’ve heard, it has been dissapointment after disapointment. It all started off with the casting of this guy who looks like a boy. Why couldn’t they just have got the guy from Smallville.
Ever notice how metro-sexual this superman is. Must agree with Grim, this guy doesn’t have anything manly in the way he looks. Almost looks like a tween wearing a baseball shirt. And I swear in the pic above he has lip gloss on.
Yea. I thought the guy from Smallville would have been better.
he used to be on ‘One life to live’ and he was a horrible actor. Let’s hope he took acting lessons.

I don’t know about htis one… i want it to be good… but I’m so skeptical about the new superman.
Why in the world would they remake this movie? Some things are better left alone. I hope it bombs.
i hope YOU bomb! and it’s NOT a remake. seriously tho, superman is so iconic, represents so many things to different people and generations. don’t have expectations when you go see it.
I really hope this movie is succesful at the box office! Bryan Singer is an incredibly talented and capable director. Hopefully, this movie will demonstrate that. Personally, I would have preferred Tom Welling, but I’ll take what I can get.
Tom or Brandon it’s too late to change it, i’m just grateful supermans got another film out and you should too.
