They were essentially separated for almost two years before admitting it to the press, and then only because she had stopped wearing her ring and they were apart on his B-day and the fights when together were getting very noticeable. I feel sorry for her for being married to someone not right for her (and more so for him) — how many of us have tried to make a relationship work and stayed too long? How many are divorced? I feel sorry for her for that reason ONLY — I agree that she has handled the whole thing abominably, and selfishly, and been mean-spirited about it. If you want to be a bitter woman, do it privately, don’t air your childish, negative thoughts to every major press outlet you can while rolling around half naked in photos trying really hard to look desirable. You just make an ass of yourself.

African Girl, 237 Remember the Truth speaks truly. You will instinctively know how to handle the little tyke. OK, as we are talking motherhood here, I must confess, I did not fall in love instantly with my little tyke. I was just too stunned. Like one minute she didn’t really exist and the next, there she was, this little red squalling human being. I remember one slightly insane moment, me sitting on my arm chair, about 10 days after my daughter was born and wondering, quite seriously, if I should have her fostered out till she turned 2 and then thinking, "no, no, that’s too early to bring her back for me to look after. May be I’ll wait till she is 16 or 17" At that point, sanity returned. For the first few months, especially if you end up breast feeding you just have to give up most of your life to this kid. But you do regain it back, bit by bit. My daughter was one of those babies who woke up every 2 hours to feed and she did that for 4 months. That was exhausting. But finally, it dwindled down to a feed at midnight and a feed at 4.00 am. I used to love those feeds. Just my baby and I in bed, everything dark and quiet, feeling cozy and safe. Cuddling the little body close. I felt that I was in a womb with her. One book I found really useful is a book called "the Mask of Motherhood" by Susan Malouf (I think). Its a good book because it talks about all the bad things about motherhood. After reading that book, I decided that if I felt bad about motherhood from time to time, being tied down, having to go on the mommy track at work etc, it was OK to feel that way coz lots of women do. It didn’t mean that I was a bad mother. Just a normal woman who did, on some days, feel, the burdens of motherhood. Most days though, having my child has been a great blessing and joy.

MedullaBomjour mon soeur. Etes vous bon? I see where you are coming from with fighting for your marriage. That’s the mentality that has been instilled in us since we’ve been little girls. I know my mother and grandmama still shudder when the word DIVORCE is uttered. "Non, non….you married him and you will fight to stay married. If we have to lock you up in a room and not let you out until you work it, then so shall it be". It made sense for a while then when I saw the HELL my brother went through with his wife, I had to force myself to change my mentality. Sometimes people don’t work out. There is nothing to it. Encouraging them to remain in that relationship just because they married that person is synonymous to sentencing them a life time punishment. My brother and his ex wife seem to be very happy in the different paths they’ve taken. So I don’t feel sorry for them. On the other hand, if one party seems to have moved on the other can barely get their bearing…..it’s sad. Of course I don’t know how JA is faring but it’s safe to say not very good and that’s why I feel sory for her. Will it be hypocritical of my to say I am glad they got divorced right after saying I feel sorry for her? Think about it, if they were still together, there will be no BAMZ and if there is BAMZ, there won’t be FANZ….lol. Yeah I know, totally selfish but what do I care right, I adore this family!

# 263 | African GirlJA chooses to remain in her own prison..This is obviously a person who has no real direction in thier life..The premise of her life was based on 2 things: Friends and Brad Pitt..now both are gone. She never put any stock into her own life. I doubt she even knows herself that well..she bounces to and fro with every little whim.. no anchor to keep herself grounded. She desperately needs to take some time off, find herself and proceed in a new direction all along the way developing some coping skills for those "not so pleasant times in life" W e all face those times. Granted our’s are not publicated, however the pain is just as real. I refuse to feel sorry for someone who feels sorry for themself.. Get off your ass and live again.. Have you ever noticed why rearview mirrors in cars are so small, yet your windscreen is large? yes the rearview is design for only glancing back occasionally..same goes with your past..reflect back from time to time but focus on what’s in front of you!

Poor Jen, she could have been in AJ’s shoes but Noooooooooo she wanted more, more and more fame. # 224 | funkybella ++++++++++++++++++Isn’t this one of the ultimate ironies in this story? As others have commented, AJ can’t even step outside her house without a mob seen these days. Yet, JA who’s easily pissed at the razzi NOW…wants more fame and notoriety. She should seriously be taking note of what’s going on with B/A. They may be celebs, but I don’t think either one of them bargained for how much interest there would be in their relationship or their baby. As a celeb you can expect a certain amount of interest, but when you’ve got people following your to Africa and digging trenches to get photos of you, then you know you’ve reached a stratosphere that few celebs ever reach…or WANT to reach.I think if JA had to handle the kind of harrassment that AJ has this past year she’d totally freak out and stay in her house forever. This kind of attention might be amusing and nice in the beginning, but the craziness has only increased as AJ’s pregnancy progresses. The closer she gets to that due date, the worse it’s going to get and if they hadn’t taken steps to get the razzi to back off, then that kind of stress couldn’t be good for someone as pregnant as AJ. But, do the razzi care that their actions could put her baby in danger? Nope. They’re too busy trying to make sure they capture that moment on film and thinking about how much they can sell it for. The more I see of these people the more I have to wonder about how much worse our interest is making things difficult for BAMZ. If blame is going to be assigned, then I think we’re as guilty of egging on the razzi as the media bigwigs are.
