Namibia, Africa :: Probably no new pictures of Brad Pitt, 42, and Angelina Jolie, 30, will surface anytime soon because they issued a privacy plea — "We love Africa and to be here in Namibia with our family is very special for us. "To the local people who have been so kind and gracious, thank you for making us feel at home. As for the press, we kindly ask for privacy so that we can enjoy this beautiful country with our children." But don’t fret my pets! NBC News’ Ann Curry traveled to Namibia for an exclusive interview with Angelina Jolie, who has taken on a new cause, calling for all the world’s children to be given the opportunity to get an education. In the interview, airing this week, Global Education week, Jolie also talked with Curry about her new life and expecting a child.

I want her to dispel some misconceptions about the places she has been, and let people know the good things about these places, and not just about the countries’ struggles.

Wow, African Girl! Are we the first to know? That is wonderful! I don’t remember reading anything from you before about this…have you been doubtful ? I only have one son, but no greater joy is possible. The rest of us will go on and on about this if you let us, so I will just say GO AFRICAN GIRL + 1! when it happens! kidi, I believe you are right, that baby has dropped quite a bit. Hooray for BAMZ. Hmm, I flipped between Access Hollywood and ET tonight just to see pictures but caught nothing. Sometimes these shows are on again very late(like 2 am)and if you missed it you get another chance.So glad I am among friends here, who completely share this silly but truly joyful love we have for this family. I miss Maddox and Brad!

African Girl, listen, you know I told you about my 2 daugthers, and belive me, after all the work to bring your baby to this world, nothing compares to listen to what your body help to nourish. That’s why women, who are able to become pregnant and want to, are so special, we know the glory or satisfaction, call it whatever you want, of having a baby. And We know you will too.
Hi Guli!!I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better. You will always have the fond memories of your cat and a special place in your heart for him. I can look forward to seeing Angie’s interviews on Today and Dateline. Hopefully, I’ll remember to tape the Today show and fast forward through all the morning fillers to get to the actual interview. Now if I miss the Sunday’s Dateline show, I’m running, not walking, to get Tivo - Luddite or not! Oh, African Girl, you should have just ran with the pregnancy to get the special treatment and the party from us.
Rizos, #70…Hi! Great question. If I had a chance, I would ask if they know we exist–a world-wide ring of people of every age, nationality, and walk of life, who communicate with each other every day because we are drawn together in a mutual admiration society, and they are the reason! I would try to convince them to participate, too, because imagine how doing so could spread and strengthen the messages they want the world to hear, and it could be done from the privacy of their home!
Guli, glad to see you back! Hope you are doing well. That serene look on Angie’s face is healing, isn’t it? :-) She just makes you want to smile and like someone said, she just makes you feel GOOD. What a woman.
Do we have a tattoo expert among the fans here, since I have no clue. I am looking at the picture now that I’m over the initial awe. It looks like she is getting rid of the one on her arm, it looks very faded, I could very well be imagining things but that won’t be the first time :)She looks so happy! I am so excited for them…

AG, you can always do what the celebs do — opt for a C-section! I’m serious! I know people in real life who have done this. You can then plan the day so you don’t give birth in an elevator or the front lawn of the hospital, and you don’t have the pain because you are knocked out, then when you awake, they hand you the baby! The operation is much advanced now and the scar tiny. You won’t have the recovery in your privates, either, or change in that area. Recovery all around is quicker, and easier. And nowadays, having a Caesarian does not mean you always have to, like 30 years ago. You can still opt for a natural birth in the future, should you want to. So go on, there AG!! I think raising children is such a great thing, and while I don’t want to do it myself it’s not for lack of love of kids, but maybe the opposite — I don’t have a lifestyle conducive to it or relatives nearby. So I completely admire those who want to do it, and take it seriously! If you want to, and it was the birthing process giving you pause, I hope this suggestion helps so you won’t be deprived of something you really want.

Did anyone see on tv about Brad having 15 ft. wooden fence built around the property and about him buiying a ring/necklace that traditionally is given by a husband to be to his future bride as a sign of fidelity?jpf
My goodness, this woman is absolutely gorgeous. WOW! I am so amazed. Angelina, there is not one like you. You have no equal. Amazing.You are also a humanitarian. Wonderful!
