Angelina Jolie on Dateline

Namibia, Africa :: Probably no new pictures of Brad Pitt, 42, and Angelina Jolie, 30, will surface anytime soon because they issued a privacy plea — "We love Africa and to be here in Namibia with our family is very special for us. "To the local people who have been so kind and gracious, thank you for making us feel at home. As for the press, we kindly ask for privacy so that we can enjoy this beautiful country with our children." But don’t fret my pets! NBC News’ Ann Curry traveled to Namibia for an exclusive interview with Angelina Jolie, who has taken on a new cause, calling for all the world’s children to be given the opportunity to get an education. In the interview, airing this week, Global Education week, Jolie also talked with Curry about her new life and expecting a child.

Rotflmao……. You guys are the best! Okay, another question, after the pregnancy, how do I get over my fear of holding babies less than three months old? I am serious, I am honestly terrified of holding them…..don’t me wrong I adore babies just don’t leave them in my care until they are four months and above. Those tiny babies….so fragile, their bones still so soft….I tell you, when you think about it, women should be adored for everything they go through. Look at that AJ, in less than two months, she’s going to have a baby. One day she is pregnancy, the next she has a baby. How do you get emotionally prepared for that? You have this totally helpless child depending on you for EVERYTHING! Yikes! I put myself in a mood. Alright I have to go call my mama now.

#153 African Girl: You will get over the fear of holding small babies, when you realize that the baby is totally depending on you. I have 2 children, and I was really scared with my first, but the moment the nurse put her in my arms, it was like a switch went on, and my confidence increased as time went on.

# 149 | Passing Through PT, I just don’t know. Honestly, I think she DID know all this but took it for granted, and it backfired. I believe she stayed in that "pinch me, I hooked Brad Pitt" mode for a shorter period than her hair twirling, nail biting self would suggest. I think it hit her early on just how powerful this union was that she had became one half of, and combining that with the awareness of the type of man she married (one she assumed would stay no matter what because of the values he was raised with) gave her IMO a serious false sense of "I got all the time in the world, he’s not going anywhere." I’m sincerely on the side of her really loving the power the man provided more than her truly loving the man. She said while into her 2nd year of marriage…."I’m not sure he’s the love of my life. I mean, he is a big love, but I’m not sure what love of my life means"…..W Style 2003. To me at the end of the day, her ambition came first, and no one can argue that it didn’t because the proof is in the extended season she signed on to at Friends, and her quick fast & in a hurry signing up for back to back movies. She insinuates that the subject didn’t come up into it was darn near over, but I can remember as early as 2003 BP talking about it as if it was just a matter of time. I also remember HER talking of it, but again, I think it was lip service and stall tactics.In the end, she couldn’t seem to find the time to pencil in the children and so Brad checked out, JMHOjpf
