The Coward Robert Ford’ Teaser
Synopsis :: As the charismatic and unpredictable Jesse James (Brad Pitt) plans his next great robbery, he wages war on his enemies, who are trying to collect the reward money - and the glory - riding on his capture. But the greatest threat to his life may ultimately come from those he trusts the most.
It took over five tries to get all the screen captures, so I hope you enjoy them (as small as they might be). Casey Affleck, who plays Robert Ford, narrates the teaser trailer. The Assassinaton of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford is scheduled for a September 2006 release. Thanks to John for the heads up!
UPDATE :: I updated the gallery with much larger screen caps and the trailer link is now download ready. Enjoy!

Friends With Money (2006)movie review by Jeffrey Westhoff, Northwest Herald (Crystal Lake, IL) Rating: FRESH (3/4“Friends With Money” is a movie that should be on Prozac, Zoloft or Paxil. I mean that in a good way. (ETC ETC ETC)The performances are EXCELLENT, which has become as much a hallmark of Holofcener’s films as her wry dialogue. Where other filmmakers cynically enjoy cursing their characters with fractured hearts and minds, Holofcener looks at similar emotional wounds and sees bruises that can be healed with time and compassion.
Tucson, Arizona | Published: 04.20.2006Quote from review:“Take the TV show "Friends," subtract the terrible writing, commercial breaks and all the irritating actors — read, everyone BUT Jennifer Aniston — then add lots of money. What do you get? "Friends With Money." Aniston continues to shine in her post-sitcom film career, offsetting her noirish turn last year in the underseen thriller "Derailed" with a new dialogue-driven dramedy. The farther she roams from the ever-perky, paper-thin Rachel character, the better. And it’s tough to find more of an anti-Rachel than laconic housemaid Olivia, a pothead who is unlucky in love and preternaturally self-destructive. By Kenneth Turan, LA Times Staff Writer"Friends" is the writer-director’s third feature, following "Walking and Talking" and "Lovely and Amazing," projects much admired for their individuality, insight and ability to eavesdrop on contemporary reality. But this piece takes Holofcener’s gifts to a new level, deepening her sensibility, broadening her appeal and in all ways fulfilling the promise of what came before. With a QUARTED OF SPLENDID actresses — Catherine Keener, Jennifer Aniston, Frances McDormand and Joan Cusack — playing friends who have all kinds of issues with the love and money that is and isn’t in their lives, the result is an exquisitely calibrated hypermodern comedy of manners. A quiet but devastating ensemble piece, both acerbic and sweet, "Friends" blends empathy and a great sense of comic timing with the richness of Holofcener’s trademark take-no-prisoners observations. ……"Friends" is acted with real camaraderie by actors who embody the essence of their characters, and who know how to convey the friendship and love that, in spite of how fiercely these women dish each other and their spouses in private, does exist between them.
Honestly I don’t care if Jennifer A’s movies get good reviews or not. I’m at the point where I can’t stand to look at her face. Now Brad Pitt’s face is a different story. I could watch him all day and all night long. Angie is the luckiest woman in the world.

Excertp From Rolling StonePETER TRAVERS Yes, that is Jennifer Aniston tarted up as a sexual fantasy: the ooh-la-la French maid clutching a phallic vacuum hose so her boyfriend can get off when she bends over. No, Friends With Money is not that kind of movie. Far from it. The keenly observant writer and director Nicole Holofcener isn’t about to settle for giving jocks their jollies. She’s interested in the shifting dynamics among real women. Listen up, guys, you might learn something. ……In Holofcener’s 1996 debut feature, Walking and Talking, the threat to female closeness is impending marriage. In 2002’s Lovely and Amazing, the issue among sisters is body image. And now, in Friends With Money, the obstacle comes in the form of wealth. Olivia (Aniston), Franny (Joan Cusack), Jane (Frances McDormand) and Christine (Catherine Keener) have been friends since forever. Now Olivia is feeling isolated. It’s not just that she’s single and her three pals are married (that she can deal with) — it’s that she’s cleaning houses for sixty-five dollars a scrub, and her friends are filthy stinking rich. ……It turns out money is a hell of a subject for a movie, especially one rendered with decidedly un-Hollywood nuance and intimacy. Smart, witty and alert to the buried resentments that poke through the shiny surface of affluence, Holofcener’s film recognizes that money is the new sex. Buying your kid the right kind of shoes, the expensive kind, is better than an ******. The main characters, all living large in Los Angeles, are a bit ashamed of how much they’ve got. Rub it in people’s faces and they’ll think you’re a *****. ……..IT’S A KICK TO SEE ANISTON CUT LOOSE and break her big-screen losing streak (Rumor Has It, Derailed, Along Came Polly). As Olivia, she gets to show off her gift for giving a character shades of light and dark, recalling how strong she was in The Good Girl and The Object of My Affection. Aniston has a friend indeed in Holofcener, who lets her mix it up with a seasoned ensemble cast. Except for McBurney, the men don’t have much to chew on. But the film is a field day for actresses. And their teamwork is a thing of beauty. When the film premiered at Sundance in January, nit-pickers wanted more narrative drive and clear-cut motivations. Know what? For lots of back story and no loose ends, watch TV. For a movie rich in hilarity, heartbreak and a sense of life in all its
Who brought Jen Aniston up? Seems to me it was a BAMZ fan….. So if you don’t care, stop bringing her up.

Hey how about to go to the sugested link in 121 post to see the users reviews.I just heard them saying DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! or DON’T REANTED EVEN ON DVD!! or THE WORST MOVIE I HAD EVER SEEN!!How about that ha!
I keep hearing how Jennifer Anniston has all these fans. I really don’t think she does because her movies keep bombing at the box office. $5 million is not a lot of money.
FYI:OFF TOPICHow you can help with the situation in Darfur:Dining for DarfurPlease join us in Dining for Darfur on Sunday April 30th, as New Yorkers come together to make a difference and dine against genocide. Dining for Darfur is a charity Dine Out that will raise funds for humanitarian relief work in the war-ravaged state of Darfur. The fundraiser is organized by food writer Andrea Strong and will take place at restaurants around New York City (and beyond) on Sunday April 30th, coinciding with the Save Darfur rally in Washington DC.Participating restaurants have agreed to donate 5% of their gross sales for the evening of Sunday April 30th to the International Rescue Committee’s humanitarian relief efforts in Darfur and in the refugee camps in Chad. The Situation in Darfur Not since the Rwanda genocide of 1994 has the world seen such a calculated campaign of slaughter, rape, starvation and displacement. Government-backed militias, known collectively as the Janjaweed, are systematically eliminating entire communities of African tribal farmers. Villages are being razed, women and girls are being gang-raped and branded, men and boys are being slaughtered, and food and water supplies targeted and destroyed. It is estimated that 400,000 people have already been killed in this genocide and that 2.5 million people have been displaced. The murders continue daily.Link:http://diningfordarfur.org/:
# 133 | MGates Thanks for the information. I don’t live in NYC but I will forward the link to my friends who do.I believe my city is having a march for Darfur and if so plan to attend.
you’re welcome.
Hat tip today for both George Clooney & Prince Harry for raising awareness about Africa. (A very heart-warming photo of the young prince and 6-year-old Mutsu Potsane accompanied the following mention of a charity he’s been involved with since 2004:Prince Harry is tickled by a reunion with 6-year-old Mutsu Potsane during a visit to the African kingdom of Lesotho. The royal – who first met Mutsu in 2004 during a two-month mission there – returned to launch his new AIDS charity Sentebale (which means ‘Forget me not’ in the region’s Sesotho language) in memory of his mother Princess Diana
Isn’t it somewhat ironic that JA wanted her career before the baby and now it is Brad who’s career is blooming, not hers? He’s got family AND career. She has no career and no family. I think Brad is delivering a message to her on that. Saying you could have had both, career and family. Now you’ve got nothing.I think his movies are going to be successful, they do look like quality movies worth seeing unlike JA’s. I stopped going to see her movies after the last one Rumor Has It, and I don’t think I want to see any of her movies. Now I know a good movie, and I never considered Brad to be a good actor. Maybe because he chose wrong movies, bad choices but now my intuition tells me he’s finally doing quality movies and showing his full potential. I think we might see him win an Academy Award some day. I wonder what will JA say then. If I were her, I’d leave the country full of shame…
# 137 | Agnieszka | I think we might see him win an Academy Award some day.I agree. I believe we may see Brad win an Oscar. I think that Brad’s dramatic performance will strengthen with the birth of his and Angelina’s child. Witnessing the birth of one’s child is a very emotionally maturing event. He may become more in touch with those feelings and turn them into award winning performances. That is one of the most commented attributes Angelina has. She has an uncanny ability to tap into her emotions…a very powerful actress.Good Luck Bradley!!!
# 132 | Binger I’m not a JA fan, but in all honesty FWM isn’t doing as bad as some believe. Keep in mind that it’s an independent flick, and although it started out on a very limited number of screens, it’s picked up a bit of momentium, and has actually been moving up in the polls. I think it’s actually going to make a little money, and at least break even. jpf
I think they will eventually produce some movies for kids because of their children. Just my thought.
# 111 | malibumom I think the best place to find multiple reviews is Rottentomatoes.com. Here’s the link for "Friends With Money" - http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/friends_with_money/ . It’s getting decent reviews for the most part - 114 total reviews - 77 fresh, 37 rotten.
Hi, This blog is for Brad! Thanks.
Be careful with making JA into an object of pity or bashing. Maybe we should just leave her alone. Brad may be the type that will sympathize with his ex to the point where he takes up the knight in shining armor syndrome. He feels for underdogs so he might champion her cause and that could cause complications in his relationship with AJ. No matter what’s happened between them, they were married once and he had an affection for her. He would certainly feel guilt if JA does something stupid because of all the attention and the slow faltering of her career. JA may not want to stay in Malibu where she could run into the couple anytime once they come back so she is setting up shop in Chicago. It’s not only close to her BFF Oprah but where her sweetheart VV lives. Reckon she feels safe with them there. But even if she does and she still gets hounded by the paps and bombarded by the news about the happy couple, she could still break. The reason I feel sorry for her is with all that money, it still can’t seem to buy her happiness right now. She will need to insulate herself really well for when BP and family return to the US.
I will prefer to stop this pity talk. The person that really got all the bad raps has been Angie and she has managed to pull herself through. JA had the press on her side for most part. I am a regular on this site because there are fans who have been supportive of Angie, she really had a lot against her. Stop the pity party pls.

#143 Nicole Kidman was said to have lost a pregnancy shortly before she divorced Tom Cruise. She was with him for 10 years. No one is making so much of a circus about that because she kept her mouth shut instead of throwing pity parties. Talking to the whole world does not solve the problem, it just allows the world to become a part of the mess.
# 145 | maThe story’s been set in New Orleans, allowing the studios to take advantage of Louisiana’s production incentives. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button——————-I am excited about this news. It seems the movie is interesting plus it gets to be filmed in New Orleans. It is really very nice of Brad to have agreed to film in New Orleans. I hope it will jumpstart the interest for NO and eventually bring back this once beautiful city to where it once belonged (pre-Katrina days).
please stop being so desperate to promote ja’s movies by posting all these reviews here…if her film is so good…no one cares if the review is good or bad…people will go and watch it….and it seems that people don’t care coz her movie only earned so little compare to how much they pay her…isn’t it they paid her $9million for this movie??? if that’s how much they pay her..man…the producers loss a lot of money…people will go to movies to be entertain not to make them think that this movie is good and it’s about the dynamics of women and their friendship…blah blah blah….so whatever good reviews it get…still the movie bomb….movies are good only if people are willing to pay $10 to watch it….it’s all about revenue/profits….sorry to say but everyone knows that ja without braddy is a box office poison!!
Brad and Angelina have their individual past and baggages. They have been together for over a year now and making the most out of their life with their children and their humanitarian causes. I for one would rather not discuss their past history with others since they are now very happy and awaiting their third child. We all learn from the past and we move forward and live today and do the best we can to make it worthwhile so that we can look forward to a bright future.
