Namibia has become the subject of huge interest in the US since the arrival of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, according to the country’s US ambassador. "The Namibian embassy in Washington DC has been inundated with calls from the US media and individuals," said Hopelong Ipinge. The film star couple arrived in the south African country in early April with Jolie’s two adopted children. Jolie, who is eight months pregnant, is expected to give birth there. It will be an honour for Namibia to become the birthplace of her child," Ms. Ipinge said. She added that some American TV stations has asked for Namibian tourism marketing videos after requests from viewers.

Vintage Brad Pitt, anyone?  Brad Pitt made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno back on November 21, 2001. Brad starred in a series of skits to promote Spy Game and in this particular sketch, he tried to get people to watch his film. One old man refuses to watch the film and Brad asks if there’s anything he could do to change his mind.  It then cuts to the two of them in bed and a naked / shirtless Brad asks, "Now are you going to watch the film?", the old man replies, "maybe."

# 194 ann…………….Wow great idea…JJ did it. Thank you for that. I know, I know, many others probably asked also for this to happen. But kudos to ann for mentioning it today, and lo and behold it happened. Thanks ann for your nice comments and the idea on the separate pages, very smart idea.

# 300 | mrs smith Very well said and ITA. I think it’s a very good sign that they’ve entered into a lasting relationship. Sometimes there’s just a knowing, and that’s why I have no problem with not hearing them gush, hang all over each other, and any other public declarations of love ever after ala TomKat. Cliche as it sounds its still the truth that talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words. Jolie-Pitt both did a whole lot of telling the world about how she loved BBT, and Brad did the same with every woman he was with and we see where that talk and PDA-ing got them. (thank goodness lol).jpf

Hi BAMZ wellwishers, Didn’t you love the way the director of BABEL explained how Brad fell for Angelina? Like someone else said," Jennifer never had a chance". I shouldn’t want it to be true, because I feel a man should resist that sort of thing, but I do. I want the romance, the incredible romance, to all be true. I feel very, very sorry for Jennifer, yes. But– if you think about it– Brad and Angelina are eclipsing pretty much everybody else in Hollywood, too, not just her. Every other actress by comparison seems ridiculous right now. We have been subjected to years of pictures of "celebrities" doing little more than displaying pocketbooks, fake tans and body parts, as if it mattered. Finally, someone with substance comes along, and the interest shown in them has left everyone else in the dust.

JARED THIS NEW WAY OF POSTING COMMENTS WHERE YOU HAVE TO CLICK ON 123456 SUCKS!THIS IS WHAT THE BRATTY POSTERS GET FOR COMPLAINING. NOW WE CANNOT SEE THE FULL LIST OF COMMENTS AND CANNOT FULLY COMMENT ON ANY POSTS BECAUSE WHO HAS THE TIME TO GO CLICKING ON NUMBERS 1-9?????WHY CAN’T PEOPLE JUST WAIT FOR THE SECOND IT TAKES TO LOAD UP?JARED PLEASE BRIG BK THE OLD WAY! ANYONE ELSE AGREE?

Jolie Fan @ 04/30/2006 at 1:30 am

Jared, I agree with #304. This new way is not convenient. Also, when you post, you don’t know where your comment is going to be so you have to click on 1-9 to find it. This is very inconvenient. Also, this is a discussion board. How can we have a discussion with each other if we have to go fishing around to see where our buddie’s comments are? This is not good. Please change it Jared. Please!

I LOVE BRAD!!!

# 303 | AddictedtoBAMZ+1This is the only time, or should I say "the last time" I’m going to comment on this one since my opinion didn’t sit so well elsewhere, and I’m not interested in going rounds. If the story is true, I have a serious problem with "not what the man said" but I do have a problem with Brad Pitt intrusting someone with something so private, and that person devulging it to a magazine. As I said elsewhere…"if Brad & Angelina choose not to discuss with us their innermost thoughts/feelings about each other, what business does someone else who Brad alledgedly confided have doing it?" Some want to equate Courtney Cox and other’s speaking in VF about Brad’s feelings about Angelina with what Inarritu did, but to me it’s apples & oranges. Those woman were going by what JA devulged to them, and it was wrong, but it wasn’t them breaking Brad’s direct confidence, it was JA doing so. Anyway, as romantic as it may sound, I sincerely doubt BP is pleased that this man (if true) told the world his personal business. JMHOjpf

This was Posted on Bradforums.Net under the discussion of the Director talking about BradIf you are so willing to be with the wrong person, imagine how wonderful it will be when the right person comes along! In order for that to happen, you must be willing to stop feeling sad, stop being in fear, and stop being in denial. It’s not working! That may not be a bad thing. When a relationship stops working, it usually means that someone had grown. Someone is now ready to receive more and have more that the relationship offers. Someone is ready to be loved, honored, and treated the way they really want to be treated. Could that someone be you? If it is you, that must mean you are ready to say good-bye, ready to dry your eyes and ready to let go! Please go if you must! —Iyanla Vanzant

TO #179 FROM ME @ 04/30/2006 at 1:41 am

"To MOI JADE / AFRICAN GIRL et alThere are many BAMZ fans out here who love this website , as it’s probably the best site for BAMZ newsBut some of you, though occasionally amusing, have turned it into some sycophantic clicquey chat room. Most of which I can skip through and avoid, but huge volumes of absolute crap ,in bold type, putting in the names of your little buddies into stupid stories, followed by endless entries by the rest of you saying lame self congratulatory hi fives, of aren’t we so witty etc, is the last straw!!Some of us on this site may have a genuine affection and respect for BAMZ etc and are tired of you treating it like your personal juvenile chat room, why not go and create a separte chat room to swap stupid ,madeup bold print stories in"________________________Wow! I totally agree with you. I could not of said it better myself. Half the posts are ridiculous stuff about weddings they will be attending and what they will wear. They should exchange emails and contact each other separately about that stuff and keep the threads for discussions on BAMZ only.It makes it very hard to go through. And in order to skip a post, you have to read it first. Only after reading it do you realize it was not about BAMZ. So the advice to "skip posts you don’t like" is not convenient or practical. You would think they would care more about their fellow BAMZ fans adn stop but I guess not. Yeah and the article in bold recapping BAMZ posts is not necessary, I agree.

# 309 | TO #179 FROM ME So what are you suggesting? jpf

I’m sorry, I’m trying to make the entire site load faster and the only way to do that was to paginate all of the comments.

Original jpf @ 04/30/2006 at 2:10 am

Jared, I have no complaints, and if anything, I need to thank you more because you never fail in providing what we come here for. It’s all good with me, and my little suggestion about findind posts is not even a life or death issue. Again, you do a great job, and I know it’s probably a serious pain sometimes for you and I will not complain.jpf

# 303 | AddictedtoBAMZ+1The quote by the director made my day - hell it made my week. I see no problem with him giving that information to the magazine. Like someone over at bradforums said what is the difference between the director talking and the "sources" quoted by People Magazine. In my opinion, nothing.

jj, i am never going to complain…this is your blog site and i am a visitor/guest/user…not complaining at all….lol

Girl to Jared @ 04/30/2006 at 5:23 am

Jared, i must say you are so nice and accomodating. Thank you. It makes it pleasant to come to your site. I mean someone who actually responds to us? Wow!That said, I do think this new way is not that convenient. I would rather see the list of posts. Remember, all the other sites use this format and there is a reason for that. You will get more traffic if people can immediately see each other’s post at a glance. I did not mind if it took a second to load. It will regardless so I suggest going back to the old format.Either way, you are great and thank you for your courtesy and care for your posters. Awesome!

"So what are you suggesting?jpf #309"————————–I am suggesting that we in true Brangelina spirit show courtesy for each other and keep the "what i am going to wear to the wedding this weekend" comments off the site and let’s enjoy posting about Brangelina. Once in a while it is inevitable that we may use ourselves as an example to make a point about Brangelina. But this site is not about our personal lives. It is about BAMZ. And it does get cliquish here - that part of it may be inevitable as some people will warm up to some fellow posters.I could techinically come on and discuss my entire week’s plans on this site but out of respect for you all - I don’t do it. Why would I? I love BAMZ and come here to discuss news on them. So, my suggestion is mutual respect and more maturity about what we post and what we can leave off the thread.

think positive! @ 04/30/2006 at 7:47 am

#247 |jjoy| That was my first thought but i just notice that Brad is wearing a leather braslet on his left arm that he wasn’t wearing on the previous photos. And angelina is wearing a scraf and sunglasses that she wasn’t wearing on the previous ones and also she was wearing a black jacket around her waste on the previous ones and on this ones she’s not.Mad also is wearing deferent clothes on this picks and holly is wearig deferent pants. So i think they are pretty new.

Original jpf @ 04/30/2006 at 8:13 am

# 313 | Lola I guess I’m just an odd egg, and in no way am I attempting to be contrary, but I just think it’s wrong for the man to talk about something so personal, and if true, about a time when Brad was torn emotionally about these two woman (again if true). The People magazine speaks of after the fact. He and JA weren’t together, and he and AJ were. An unnamed source speaks of a "twinkle" in his eye, and he/speaks apparently with permission from the couple. Inarrruit is telling some seriously deep intimate stuff, and no where does it allude to Brad saying "hey man, you have my greenlight to expose to the world what I confided in you in private," Ok, I want so bad to not comment about this anymore because it’s obvious that I AM the minority opinion on the subject now, and will continue to be, and so I’m going to try hard to zip it and let others enjoy (if true) the directors inside info.jpf

Original jpf @ 04/30/2006 at 8:31 am

# 316 | Me I think one of the main reasons this board gets the traffic it does is because of all the reasons you’re having a problem with. I go to other blogs, and with the exception of one other, this one is the best, and IMO it’s because there is room to allow for discussions about other subjects, If JJ said posts must be either "this is this or that is that, but none of this this AND that", well it would definitly take the fun out of coming here for me. This is Talk of the Just Jured Nation from NYC.SKIP IT IF YOU DON"T WANT TO READ IT.George Clooney was in NYC recently taping for his well received guest appearance to Billy Maher HBO program "Humanitarian", speaking out once again on the situation in Dafur. George & Bill After taping I was lucky enough to get a few words with George regarding growing controversy of Journalism and comment writing in Blog sites, and what, if any conditions there are to freedom of speech rights on blogs. George Clooney who has been also involved in his own controversy regarding blogging at "Smoke the Gun" had this to say.Moi Jade " George, thank you for allowing me time to speak to you on the issues of blogging rights in the American Internet Media. What is your feeling over bloggers writingon issues that are not directly focused on the issue or the specific celebrities the Blog Site is directing it’s readers?"George Clooney "Nice to finally meet you too Moi Jade. Thank You for asking me to speak on this issue. I hear things at the JJ Nation have indeed gotten a bit controversial, but this is exactly what makes the sites so entertaining and why people continually return. In regards to your question on commenting that are not strictly directed at the issue or to the celebrities, this is ridiculous. Our country is protected by Freedom of Speech Laws and this is also true for Internet Law. In 1997 the Supreme Court ruled that the Internet is a unique medium entitled to the highest protection under the free speech protections of the First Amendment to the US Constitution. This gives the Internet the same free speech protection as print. The Internet is the first electronic media to achieve this because of low barriers to access, abundance, many speakers, and no gatekeepers. The Court struck down the Communications Decency Act (CDA) in 1996, in Congress’ first attempt to censor speech online. Writing for the court, Justice John Paul Stevens held that "the CDA places an unacceptably heavy burden on protected speech" and found that all provisions of the CDA are unconsitutional as they apply to "indecent" or "patently offensive" speech. In a separate concurrence, Chief Justice William Rhenquist and Justice Sandra Day O’Connor agreed that the provisions of the CDA are all unconstitutional except in their narrow application to "communications between an adult and one or more minors."On Wednesday June 12, 1996 at 9:00 am, a panel of three federal judges in Philadelphia, PA granted the Citizens Internet Empowerment Coalition’s (CIEC) request for a preliminary injunction against the Communications Decency Act (CDA). In a unanimous decision, the judges ruled that the CDA would unconstitutionally restrict speech on the Internet."Moi Jade: "So Mr. Clooney it is correct to say that it is within anyone’s right to blog or communicate with other bloggers on a site, say about what they might be wearing to a wedding or writing comical satire for comic relief for what can often be intense debates over who and how someone is living their private life?George Clooney " Absolutely Moi Jade. Free Expression on the Internet is your constitutional right and if people on a blog site have to put up with profanity and name calling they have to put up with the kind of comments that any or all people wish to make comment on if it is "off topic" "Just like we turn off channels on TV or radio if we don’t want to watch or hear something, people can just "NOT READ" or "Click" to another site."Moi Jade "Thank you George, and again my deep appreciation for your opinion and insight. I would also like to thank you as well for your work in futhering the attention to Dafur and what is happening their."George Clooney: "Thank you Moi Jade…and please call me George. (smiling at Moi Jade) Here is my personal cell number in case you need to contact me again. I think you are doing a great job."This is Moi Jade reporting from JJPBS in NYC.

HAHAHA MOI JADE @ 04/30/2006 at 12:57 pm

As always ROLMAO!!!!

African Girl @ 04/30/2006 at 3:28 pm

Moi JadeOh boy, You gonna get us in in trouble nooooow! Lol. We’re going to get kicked out for sure. I can’t believe you got Clooney’s number, you know how I feel about him. What did you do….twirl your hair, bat your eyelashes…..?

LMAO!!! Don’t worry you guys nobody is going to kick you out of anywhere and just keep posting what ever you want. if those other folks can’t handle it, well to twitty twit twat bad for them.luv u guys. you are what make this blog fun to come to.

For all you ladies who say Jennifer just needs to get over it . My hope and prayer for you is that your man, either boyfriend or husband, that you have invested 5 or more years of your life in, will leave you for a humanitarian. But it will be okay because it is okay to have your spouse alienated and stolen from you as long as the girl doing the stealing likes to help little African children.. i guess it would have all been the same if JA and BP had, had children. then those children could have lost their daddy to all those little African children. But it would be okay because they would be rich and could get that over that, too. How sad that our society has become so flippant about adultery and marriage. Pray that it doesn’t ever happen to you or your family because believe me you will think it is a big deal then. Angelina may be a great humanitarian but she is also a home wrecker. I was always told beware of a guy who will leave someone for you because it will only be a matter of time before they leave you for someone else. Turn about deserves fair play.
