I think Angie has bigger fish to fry than all these JA linkages.

I think that the "firing" of the CAA agents is using a word that makes it sound as if there were some sort of animosity there. I think with two movies coming out and one to be made soon, she has her next year or so booked. She already has two children, and is about to have a newborn. She probably doesn’t need to have agents getting her work right now, and with a focus on her children and humanitarian work, maybe she is taking a break from acting for a while. She has Brad’s Plan B production company to find scripts for her, and she is still in demand without having agents seek work, so she can do what Jessica Lange did at the height of her career: slow down, raise her kids away from Hollywood, and make a movie every two-three years as a script comes along that really grabs her. Brad can continue to act, and they won’t have as much to juggle as far as not staying apart for long periods. It’ll be enough with his movies and her humanitarian activities to stay in the same area. I think it’s a good thing, and a further assertion of independence and separation from the Hollywood scene. But I really don’t see there being any big, sudden reason for it, or any animosity.

#204 I agree. They also want to make any Brangelina news dramatic. When Angie came out, she looked relaxed and happy compared to the stories we were made to believe.

Speaking of Darfur, Pres.Bush made a press statement putting pressure o the Sudanese government and according to the New York Times,the food aid by the UN will be cut in half among the millions of Sudanese refugees. The US provides 85% of the food aid and more spending bill is underway if approved according to a senoir adm.official.The carnage in Darfur still continues. Let us all do what we can to help.

I saw Michelle Pfeiffer on tv yesterday (she’s so gorgeous to me, and she turns 48 today!) and for almost 4yrs she didn’t work primarily because she wanted to focus on being a mom. Her kids are 11 & 13 (her oldest she adopted as a single woman…..sweet story. On her wedding day, her daughter….who she had adopted 8months earlier….. was christened and given her new dads name.) and in this activity and that, and so now a script is to her liking, and filming location doesn’t disrupt her kids lives to much, she’ll consider it, but they come first. She’s married to a serious moneymaker writer/producer David Kelly and so moola isn’t an issue. jpf
