Captivating. That’s the word that best describes Angelina Jolie, or Angie as she is called by those who know her. Up close she is even more beautiful, but not just because of the lines of her face.
Looking at her, my thoughts turned to what she was when I first met her… sad and dark, wanting to laugh more. People ridiculed her, gossiping about Billy Bob, her tatoos and a kiss she gave her brother. People would ask me how I could interview such a woman.
Feeling that sting, it would have been so easy for her to exploit her humanitarian work early. But when I asked to follow her on her missions, she told me she wasn’t ready, she didn’t know enough. She knows enough now. And still, she has not confessed to all the good works she has done.
How common is it to find someone who embraces the idea that any true gift is given anonymously? Angie’s like that, not wanting to publicize her efforts, unless some greater good might come of it.
Now people stop me to say how much they admire her, how she inspires them.
I have concluded that Angie represents the transformation that is possible in all of us, when we step outside our own suffering, and open ourselves to the suffering of others.
Look at how useful she has made made her life, focusing on helping the must vulnerable among us. That, I think, is the most beautiful thing about her.

Hello All,Nice day, New Pictures, New format….Jared, are you the best or what? Of course I still have to catch up but who is complaining….not me, that’s for sure. Thanks Jared! Wow, Take a look at the chic mama in her boots, I can’t wait for the show tonight. Everyone already knows not to disturb me during the hour of six and seven or someone will have some ’splaining to do.Of course, with the new pictures come the same negative issues. The most prominent one is about her Past. Seriously, this is getting tiring. Come on people, the only reason we know about her past is because she put it out there. This isn’t some breaking news that some investigative reporter dug out. She’s been upfront about the things she’s done and it’s sad that it’s been used against her. What would her critics rather have…..that she pretends to be holier than thou….like you all? The funny thing is there are people out there who have done worse things but hide it so well. The way I see it, if she can be honest about those things….that could be perceived as bad by some, why won’t she be honest about everything else. What is even more irksome is this same critics are bothered because she isn’t saying much. I don’t know about the critics but the rest of the sane world, have a penchant for not repeating our mistakes.Someone from London (sorry, I fogot the post#) they’ve been aware of the situation and that’s why it doesn’t seem like such a big deal. I won’t dispute the fact that the news coverage in London and all Europe for that matter, is more hard hitting than its America counterpart. What I do have in issue it not being impressed with people who are trying to do good things. I’ve seen some of these issues firsthand and I am and will continue to be impressed with anyone who tries to make a difference. The point you seem to have missed is that these people don’t have to do these things. They could be living their lives doing whatever they please but they’ve chosen to help the needy, with the knowledge that their lives will be scrutinized, that they would be held to a different kind of standard than the the rest of us….yet they carry on. So, yes I am impressed, in awe and thankful. Anyone who give of themselves….no matter how little, should be appreciated. I don’t think I can ever be blase about that even if I saw that type of behavior everyday. Well nothing much happened this weekend, you know my cousin and I got into this huge thing because of the (SILENCE) * AG clears throat* Okay I don’t know what happened there. This woman is not a saint. If she gave up her riches and went to personally live with the poor, dropped hollywood and gave up her Whoring ways then maybe there could be a chance. Do you think she will ever do any of that? No, she goes home to her mansion, has her own plane, need I go on? She is trying, so she deserves credit, but she is no saint and anybody who thinks she is needs to go to church and read the bible. She is not evil or anything, and she is deserves some credit but a Saint does not get pregnant by a married man. Does not have lesbian affairs, does not live in excess. She is just a regular person who lucked out to have a famous father and now she is using it for personal gain. I mean last week there is a plea to be left alone and then she does this interview and is on People. And I am sure she knew both were coming out. If you want to be left alone, you don’t court the media. I wish her the best and it would be pretty cool if she did give up her ways and did become the Saint you want her to be. She is a long way from Mother Teresa, so do not compare them it is sad.

I can’t believe that Alero’s sarcasm in #155 was not immediately evident!! Goofy, it wasn’t a joke, it was put down to the idiot who was talking like that and couldn’t see how stupid they sounded. I can’t believe anyone could read it and even if they didn’t know Alero could not see it was sarcasm. Angie and Brad are doing well, and bless them and thank God for His loving care of them and of all of us.
