Just seen The AJ Interview and I seriously adore this woman. Bringing attention to subjects like Darfur and Education only go to show how humble and committed she is to help make our world better. I know that I’ve been inspired to help out in any way I can and to encourage my friends to do the same. I think all of us, no matter how we feel about this couple should listen to her very important message and take heed - I know I sure will.

I was just thinking when Jared was going to put that video and new pictures, and oops there it is!Thank you Jared, you are the BBBEEESSSSTTTT. Everytime I watch this interview, I can see more and more how much in love she is. Her eyes just iluminate, you can see that twinkle, and her smile is bigger everytime Curry said Brad. She is just glowing on happiness, may the Lord bless BAMS+1 for ever.Que Viva La BAMZ+1!

This will be a good interactive BAMZ+1 activity. Also you can throw in any names you think would be good for baby.Okay here are my guesses and name picks:It will be a girl. Her name picks: 1)Africa2) Ebony3) Zora4) Ifemi5) Bradleene6) Hope7) Marcheline8) Fatima9) Kahlilah10) NefertitiI don’t think it will be a boy but if it is, it should be named Biko - like the great African revolutionary.

completely agree, she has inspired so many of us n here. I am more aware of what’s happening in afrique–human rights, genocide, education systems, etc…and I am still learning. I am glad that she has opened some eyes regarding such issues. Hopefully our little contributions help as much as possible to aide the unfortunate ones. Hopefully such catastrophes would end in the near future, it’s just heartbreaking to see…………………As for the haters, oh man I was about to type something regarding you guys [haters], but nah forget it, I rather stay on the positive sign. Oh BTW J@red thanks for posting the video since the other peeps havent seen it, kudos to you!! BAMZ+ rocks!!

Oh, boy haters again. Jealous that Angie the Goddess can in fact get any man she wants.Any man. But she chooses Brad. He’s a hunk. That is his baby, morons. Accept it. Two gorgeous people who belong together. My pick for the baby if girl is Grace. And if a boy, Cheyenne. I think it is a girl too.

Does Suri Cruise even exist? it seems weird that there’s NO pictures of the baby out yet. Gwyneth and Trump both gave out pics right away. What’s up with that?

7 &21Get over it. It is raining Angelina everywhere.Katie Holmes–Why do you have to mention the ex name?Like her so much. Go to her threads .We don’t talk about her . Don’t bring up the past.Thank YOU!!!

Poison_Cherry @ 05/01/2006 at 9:29 pm

# 8 | GUESS BABY NAME! Well, you have really good choices and they are all beautiful names. But, as for Nefertiti, I don’t think it will be a good idea even if its one of my favorite. I think that name will be too much to bare for a child in that context, because I’ve read that Nefertiti actually means in Egyptian (Arabic????) "The beautiful woman has come". Since, some peolpe believe that this baby will be the reincarnation of beauty (which I find weird because I think that we should just hope that the baby will be healthy and that’s it), I think if they do call her Nefertiti, the haters will go bananas.Maybe two or three weeks ago, Malibumum suggested two amazing names, Kenya and Sierra (as in Sierra Leone). As for me, I’m weird, so I hope if it is a boy they will call it Fire or Flame (not in English but in an African dialecte), and if it is a girl, they should call her Sky or Paradise (again, not in English).I’m not sure about Maddox’s name, but I know that Zahara means flowers in Ethiopian and in Arabic (or whatever is the name of the language there. So, I’m pretty sure that the name of the new-born will come from somethin in nature.Poison_Cherry

Poison_Cherry @ 05/01/2006 at 9:34 pm

In my previous post I wrote "I hope if it is a boy they will call it Fire". Please, don’t jump on me, I didn’t mean to call the baby "it" but "him".

JOLIE is a very fascinating beautiful woman , people are just mesmorized about her something about her it is a mystique that ’s why even the HATERS can’t stay away!Keep coming HATERS remember the chosen little one is coming you will be left green with envy you and your leader JEN JEN!

COLD HARD MATH @ 05/01/2006 at 9:36 pm

Poison_CherryI agree, also I think it will be a name with spiritual meaning or like you said something "in nature"Que Viva La BAMZ+1!

But who knows, all we want is a healthy baby :).Que Viva La BAMZ+1!

COLD HARD MATH @ 05/01/2006 at 9:47 pm

Damn! Have to wait 4-6more weeks? Before she has the baby? WTF? I thought she was due this month. During the interview she looked BIG. Just hope it’s healthy, that’s the IMPORTANT thing. But 4-6more weeks?!!

Alexanderina @ 05/01/2006 at 9:52 pm

Hey Guys I found this on CBS News - I just copied the part in reference to AJ & JA, the article is called: Choosing Hollywood Team:Kitson clothing store in Los Angeles actually began this “team” trend last year after Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt separated and Pitt shortly thereafter took up with Angelina Jolie. The store began selling T-shirts with logos that read either Team Aniston or Team Jolie. Whichever one you purchased at a ridiculously inflated price was the “team” you were on. Psychologists even commented on what kinds of people would purchase T-shirts for Aniston or Jolie. Obviously, women whose husbands left them for another woman bought the Team Aniston T-shirts. I actually picked Team Jolie and I based it on my own experiences with each actress. CBS News sent me to the 1999 Screen Actors Guild awards as a producer along the red carpet. My job was to get the actors and actresses there to talk to me. Angelina Jolie, dressed all in white as I recall and looking absolutely stunning, not only stopped to talk to me but she was also very friendly. When I told her how beautiful she looked, she actually acted surprised and modest and responded by saying, “oh that’s so sweet, thank you.” She chatted with me about the SAG awards, why she was there and what a great evening it was for Hollywood. Plenty of usable soundbites! Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston stood waaaaayyyyyyyyyy over there far away from me and the rest of the press corps with her "Friends" cohorts who refused to talk to any of us. That decided it for me. Plus, I really can’t wait for the baby. Susan Rucci is a producer for CBS News when she’s not reading celebrity/pop culture blogs and magazines.

"Katie Holmes" = Brittaney Spears"Visiting from FemaleFirst, are we? There is an entire thread in this site of pitiful haters there, discussing who is the father of the baby. It’s so comical these losers spend so much time on research and development. This troll is probably one of them.http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/board/viewtopic.php?t=59201

Haters are getting desperate.AJ/BP are the darling of the media now.About 3/4weeks , the baby news will dominate .Sorry for them. They’re just looking to vent theiranger ,envy and frustration.Haters can pick on so many JOLIE/PITT threads.

To me she looks verrry pregnant, not ready to pop just yet– but I would lay bets on a May baby girl. I’m sure they will pick a beautiful name if it’s a girl, and a name with REAL roots–not a bullshit name like Suri (sorry Suri but it’s the truth).

#41 Alexanderina–I LOVE that anecdote! And it really has the ring of truth to it–I can visualize Angie as friendly and modest, and unassuming about her beauty. And at the same time–why do I have NO PROBLEM believing Jen Jen stood off to one side and acted snooty? Susan Rucci speaks the truth!

She looks absolutely radiant! Thanks JJ!

Good night to all BAMZ+1 fans ;)Que Viva La BAMZ+1!

"Katie Holmes" = Brittaney Spears"Stop your hatred and delusion. Brad and Jen is sooooooo ooooooooovvvveeeerrrrr. wheter like it or not , Brad found his new love and commited to have a family with her. Continue your ignorant, naive bashing and cursing but nothing will change. Brad won’t be going back to JA. Brad and Ang ’s bundle of joy will arrive probably this June. it will make you more frustrated and depress after seeing this family so contend and happy.

#’s 21 & 24-Are you just too stupid or what? Did you get that angry just by watching the video? ANGIE LOVES BRAD! BRAD LOVES ANGIE! ANGIE IS HAVING BRAD’S BABY! IT TIME TO ACCEPT THE TRUTH! One really lacks intelligence in choosing Kate Holmes (as TC renamed her in one of his press conferences last week in Europe away from his newborn) and Britney Spears to express your ignorance. CF stated in an interview just last month that while he "liked" Angie she did not reciprocate in any way his feeling (that means that no activity to produce a baby occurred between them). Understand? Billy Bob moved on years ago, but maybe you can’t remember facts too well but can only retain fiction. Wyclef and his wife are friends of Angie’s and named their daughter who is about a year old "Angelina" (many in the county of Haiti have french names because of Haiti’s history of French occupation-again fact not fiction). The video of a very pregnant radiantly happy Angie who clearly is in love with Brad Pitt is a fact, again not fiction. Angie just glowed when she spoke his name, or described him, or when AC spoke his name. Education for all children is her cause, as green building and the rebuilding of New Orleans are Brad’s causes. Brad will speak out on those issues, not Angie. He has in fact had two recent telephonic interviews-one to TV Guide while in Paris about a PBS health documentary he was involved with, and one dealing with his effort to assist with the horrible situation in New Orleans. Loving partners respect and support each others interests. See how simple life really is if one casts out derogatory/evil thoughts and decides to let in sunshine. Sharing the experience of having a baby is a wonderous life enhancing event and I wish only the best experience and a healthy baby for Angie and Brad. I think Baby Jolie-Pitt #3 is a BOY, and a suggested name for him is Calgary William. I’ve a 50% chance of being right!

# 45 | kidi |And at the same time–why do I have NO PROBLEM believing Jen Jen stood off to one side and acted snooty? Susan Rucci speaks the truth!I believe that too, Ted C., Lainey, Perez Hilton think she is so fake and arrogant, that’why these 3 don’t like her.

Lynn Campbell @ 05/01/2006 at 10:33 pm

What is it about Angelina that you never want to quit watching her and you never want to quit listening to what she has to say? She has to be the most unique woman on the planet with beauty, brains, AND BRAD.

Original Curious @ 05/01/2006 at 10:43 pm

First and most important, thank you Jared. You ARE the best!Does anyone else think it’s odd that poor deluded Katie Holmes, who many think was impregnated via turkey baster, thinks this child isn’t Brad’s? I mean, in her experience, maybe that’s the way it goes huh? As far as poor Brit’ney, the less said the better - just to note Bill Mahr DID call for her to turn her child over to Angelina for his own safety…….Poor little person[s] picking such awful role models…….roflmaoI like the name Hope for a girl. It signifies the hope they hold out for the future of so many needy people. I don’t really have a favorite boy’s name. Was the same when I was pregnant….luckily, I had a girl!African Girl:I just LOVE your explanation for how many weeks until +1 arrives! Didn’t Angie say she was due around her birthday? That would be the first week of June…..

# 51 | kk . WOW, very nice and clever post. But, unfortunately, I don’t think that the persons to whom your post is addressed are clever enough to get it, or even to read it through. Come on, just look at the names they picked up to comment here!!

# 54 | FYou are flagged. The difference between this classy JJ site and cesspool FemaleFirst is, you get ELIMINATED here when you use such a language.

Poster #54 fck you…………….You are so evil evil evil. ALL YOUR EVIL WISHES WILL GO BACK TO YOU. I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF KARMA!!

Watched it and loved the part…Curry: How nice is it for you to not be on this path alone? And how much is Brad bringing to the table of what you are trying to do with your life? Jolie: Well, without getting so into (laughter) that personal stuff. People know very little about him, I think, when it comes to where his morals are, where his values are, how he is with people, what he cares about, what he’s learned about. And he’s a very aware person. He’s doing a lot of good things. And he’s a great parent. And so certainly it’s nice to watch him do that. And it’s nice for me to be able to talk about the things I care about and with somebody that does as well. Curry: You seem to have become a formidable duo in this world.Jolie: Yeah. (Laughter) It’s just—the idea, I can’t even—It feels so bizarre to just talk about any kind of, you know? So that is why I giggle about it. I just don’t know how to address it.. Just goes to show they are really normal people, falling in love with each other day by day. Its not just sex as others view it. Its having a family and I love them more after knowing this.

Original Curious @ 05/01/2006 at 10:47 pm

#54 - I don’t mean to come down hard on you, but, imho, you are giving them just what they want by responding like that. Remember - only a lunatic would wander into a friendly gathering and let loose such filthy hatred. Feel sorry for her, make fun of her, but, don’t sink to her level - it lets her say we are nasty and we don’t want that.

Original Curious @ 05/01/2006 at 10:49 pm

Oh NO! JJ erased her and now I told myself to play nice! roflmao!

Thanks JJ for deleting the original very hateful post #54…..

Oh my Jared, you are so fast!I included the first letter of that poster so Original Curious who now is #54 is clearly not her. Thanks again, Jared, you are formidable.

Wow. She really is amazing. I did not detect one note of hypocrisy in that interview. She seems to genuinely care about the issue. And yet she doesn’t act all snooty about her position. She recognizes that Hollywood is the source of her power, and she doesn’t whine about the vapidness of celebrity while embracing all it entails. I only wish I can grow up to be like the woman she is now.

COLD HARD MATH @ 05/01/2006 at 10:51 pm

Thanks, African Girl, I feel a little better LOL!I know the interview was about children/education, but I wished Ann would of asked her about any marriage plans. I know, she wouldn’t answer the question if it was brought up. But to see Angie’s reaction would have been interesting.

# 57 | Be sane and # 61 | Original CuriousHahaha. You two crack me up.

That interview is amazing; she’s just so natural and unaffected. Very down to earth. I love that she doesn’t try to sound like the ultimate authority on anything; she brings it back to a personal level and is very heartfelt in the way she speaks about these children.

I love her too,but i don’t know,it dosen’t seem that she is very happy about her pregnancy..

Thanks for the interview. I had to miss it.

COLD HARD MATH @ 05/01/2006 at 11:05 pm

Calgary? LOL. Rumor has it that’s where the baby was concieved. I also like;SterlingAriannaDavos, Hey I’m DIGGING on that name!GageWilliam

omg how can you not see how radiant she is w/ her pregnancy. Calling all mothers out there, please tell #68 the facts, it seems that she has cataracts or something that’s stopping her to see how joyious AJ is. Ok nvm, I guess we all have different perceptions but how can a person just fake those laughters trust me, when i make sarcastic laughs..AJ is in glee!!!!!

COLD HARD MATH @ 05/01/2006 at 11:08 pm

#68 Curious, in what way?I also like Michelle. If they want a french name.

# 68 | Mari it dosen’t seem that she is very happy about her pregnancy.."Because she said, "I’m in sort of a denial" about pregnancy? That’s because she said she used to think having adopted kids only and not having a biological child. And she said, "things changed"–she met Brad which made her change her mind.I don’t know if you were ever pregnant, but for my first one I couldn’t fathom I was pregnant with a huge belly until, believe or not, when actually the baby arrived and suddenly I had to take care of her!

Original Curious @ 05/01/2006 at 11:13 pm

# 68 | MariAngelina doesn’t seem HAPPY? Did you see the same woman I did? Giggling with joy and happiness? I think she is/was surprised by it all, but I also think she’s VERY happy.

thanks for the video. it’s even better the second time around.

Ok,she is happy, she didn’t fake those laughters BUT she dosen’t talk about the kid,she loooves talking about mad and z!sorry, but i don’t think this baby was planned…

COLD HARD MATH @ 05/01/2006 at 11:22 pm

#74. Nice post! That was my favorite part of the interview. EVERYBODY talked about how she never would get pregnant and now she is. Things do change when you fall in LOVE!!! Brad must be on TOP of the world right now. Angie is giving him the GREATEST gift a woman can give to a man!

The child was supposed to be conceived in Canada while filming Jeese James. so I would prefer Jessica or Alberta or Canada for girl and Albert William, Calgary William, James William for boy.

The real lou @ 05/01/2006 at 11:30 pm

#77 Mari,I think the baby was planned.Angelina has been married twice and never got pregnant.I just find it hard to believe that she feel in love with Brad Pitt and then suddenly forgot how to take her birth controll pill. The woman is 30,she knows the in’s and out’s of birth control.I think maybe she is a little supersitious and just doesn’t want to talk about the baby to much.

COLD HARD MATH @ 05/01/2006 at 11:30 pm

#77 I don’t know. Angelina Jolie has probably been on birth control since she was 14yrs old. IMO they weren’t using any birth control and they were just going to see what would happen. I think it was half planned.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are exceptional people who have found in each other the people they want to be. In so doing, they have made and are making a real positive difference for all those who need their voices to be heard. Intelligence, humour and compassion are not rare but in people who have every reason to be dragged into the superficial consumerism of the American "celebrity" they show the strength and humanity to exhibit their reality of what loving, caring, intelligence, energy and the joy of sharing each other’s skills with others can bring to the world. We are lucky they are in all of our lives. Often those who learn wisdom must walk the hard road of pain and exploration of self to find who we are. Thanks to Just Jared for sharing too, your avenue to the news and in awareness of these two very special people. Inspiration? Is that the ‘right’ word? Perhaps! But as an example of exploring one’s talent, exercising one’s compassion, using one’s intelligence and energy, and of hope for us all … Yes! Very much so.

Original Curious @ 05/01/2006 at 11:32 pm

# 77 | Mari I’m pretty sure Angelina knows how to prevent pregnancy. She may not have expected it to happen quite so soon, but, I think this baby WAS planned. BE SANE said it so well. I was the same way - I talked like I knew I was having a baby, but I didn’t have any morning sickness, not a minute of discomfort, so it was sort of unreal - all the while growing larger. When our daughter was born is when reality set in for me as well. Holding that tiny little baby [she was 4 weeks early] was when it became real.Plus, I think AJ did address that she just didn’t think she’d ever be pregnant. Really, a lot has changed in both AJ AND BP’s lives. Not that it isn’t for the better, because I think it is, and no doubt so do they, but there have been a lot of changes for her/them.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are exceptional people who have found in each other the people they want to be. But this baby isn’t here yet; M and Z are here, so naturally Angie has more to say about them, because they are talking, moving little creatures with their own personalities. I think she seemed very loving towards her baby, patting her stomach, etc. In fact she seemed like one of the happiest pregnant women I’ve ever seen. Hmm…pregnant by Brad Pitt, gorgeous, lots of money, two great kids, a flourishing career and a purposeful life…what’s not to like?

What a bunch of pitiful, no life sows. Get a life patheticos!

Passing Through @ 05/01/2006 at 11:38 pm

# 78 | COLD HARD MATH CHM…I think Brad’s probably on top of the world for a second reason…that he’s the man that changed Angie’s mind about having biological children! Now, that’s love. When you change your perspective on something as major as having children of your own? I hate to keep bringing her up, but after what he went through with she-who-shall-remain-nameless, that’s got to have brought the poor guy to tears. Here’s a woman who’s gone on record many times of saying she didn’t think she’d ever have children and she changed her mind because of HIM. And yet their are still people in this world who doubt this couple is in love? I feel kinda sorry for them! I’m a cynic through-and-through, but those people are just plain numb inside.

Want to hear Zahara laugh? It happens near the end of the video at the 1:18 mark Enjoy!Credit to ARAA at brangelinaforever.comhttp://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0RNZWIX8Q2JSH25H3IYCPKHFL1

By Kevin HorriganST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH04/30/2006http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/colu…A4?OpenDocumentA guy from one of those earnest anti-world-poverty organizations in Washington called Tuesday afternoon. He wanted to know if the newspaper wanted to join in a conference call the next morning.I cringed. Those sorts of calls get pretty tedious. Facts, figures, goals, paradigms, five-year plans, acronyms: NGOs, LDNs, LDCs, OECD, WTO, etc., etc."Joining us on the call," the guy said, "will be Angelina Jolie."Give me the number to call, I said. The next morning, at 8 o’clock Central time, I joined the call. It was 9 a.m. in New York, from where the national papers called in and where A.J. Hammer of CNN’s "Entertainment Tonight" had rolled out of bed because of his program’s deep interest in the Third World. It was 2 p.m. in London, from where the British tabs joined in.And it was 2 p.m. at the Burning Shores resort on the Atlantic Ocean, between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, Namibia, where, as you already know unless you just emerged from a persistent vegetative state, the world’s most famous couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the pride of Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Mo., are awaiting the birth of their baby and strenuously avoiding the world press.Unless, of course, the world press can be employed in promoting Ms. Jolie’s favorite cause: the plight of the world’s poor children. This woman is shrewd, although "shrewd" is not the word that comes to mind when you see her in the movies. At her level, celebrity drives a Faustian bargain. It makes you wealthy and famous, but it demands the last shred of your privacy. Dozens of paparazzi are stalking them through her confinement, hoping to capture a million-dollar baby picture. They are fodder for the grinding mill of 30-second attention spans, beauty shop analyses and late-night comics. What Jolie does is take all that and make it work for other people. She travels the world relentlessly, cameras in her wake, focusing attention on poor children. She has adopted children from Cambodia and Ethiopia. She spent the last three Christmases not in Aspen or Cabo or Paris, but in refugee camps in Asia and Africa. On Wednesday, the cause was the Results Educational Fund, a non-profit advocacy group dedicated to bringing primary education to 100 million children worldwide. This is an excellent cause. But it’s safe to say that Results never before got the kind of results it got Wednesday when it hooked up with the media celebrity engine.Jolie talked about the children she meets in her travels, how so many of them have no access to education, how without education they have no hope of ever escaping their situation. She knew her stuff. The other "celebrity" on the conference call was Gordon Brown, Great Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer, who earlier this month announced Britain’s pledge of $15 billion over the next 10 years for worldwide primary education. Gordon Brown is widely expected to be Great Britain’s next prime minister. Were people interested in him? Sort of: "Can I ask Angelina Jolie if she thinks Gordon Brown would make a good prime minister?" asked the man from The Sun.The AP filed a story on its international wire, putting a different lead on it for the entertainment wire. And on "Entertainment Tonight," A.J. Hammer reported that he had gotten one of the first interviews with her since she retreated to Africa. A.J. didn’t mention the rest of us.Maybe the coverage will help people pressure the United States and other developed nations to meet the pledges they made six years ago to cut world poverty in half by 2015.Probably not, though. People and the media have too many other distractions, Brad and Angelina’s baby being at the top of the list.Still, you have to admire those who not only talk the talk, but walk the walk."I’ve learned a lot as I’ve traveled," Jolie said, or, as A.J. Hammer would put it, "Angelina told me.""I think," she said, "that people that are survivors of displacement or conflict or poverty are some of the strongest people you could ever meet, and they’ve taught me a lot, because I came from — you know, I came from Los Angeles, and quite a lot of privilege, and I didn’t know how much I should appreciate in life, and I didn’t. I took a lot for granted, and so I’ve learned so many great life lessons from them. And I want my children to learn the same."As to whether her celebrity sometimes gets in the way, she said, "That’s not just my decision, but also the decision of people like you, and the press, and what you focus on."KEVIN HORRIGAN | E-mail: khorrigan@post-dispatch.com

# 80 | The real lou Not only that, Lou, but we’re talking about someone who had been pretty adamant about not having biological children. Women like that don’t have "accidents" with their birth control. They’re fanatical about it. I agree that the pregnancy was definitely wanted. She’s spends her time volunteering to help prevent the spread of AIDS. She’s not going to have unprotected sex and create a child by accident. No form of birth control isn’t fool proof, but she’s a smart cookie. If she didn’t want to get pregnant, she wouldn’t be pregnant now.

#77 I think the baby was planned. She said she’s going to have a few and still adopt. Everybody knows Brad wants children, "he’s a good man, a good father", why in the world would Angie not give him a child? Love gives.

anon in Miami @ 05/01/2006 at 11:50 pm

92 | ANGELINA IS A HO |Why don’t you redirect your attitude and channel it to doing some good. Life is to short to be bitter & jealous about someone you don’t even know.

#77 Mari, In previous article of " Hello" mag. stated that they do plan having a kid but never expected it would happen that fast. but anyway, both are elated and sooo happy. I can’t wait for the promotion of Babel or Jesse James. I really want to hear Brad like Tom Cruise talking about his newborn baby. He might not talk about Angie but I think he’ll talk about his kid.

Ted C says Aniston & VV are engaged. Praise Jesus! Maybe now she’ll stop whining her ass off about Brad. Bad for Vince but good for Brad & Angie.

Okay, I was just watching the Colbert Report…to be honest I’m not really into his show but it comes after Jon Stewart, whom I absolutely adore…Anyway, Colbert starts talking about Celebrities pushing causes. This is what he said"So George Clooney is Pushing for Darfur and the He- She that makes Brangelina are pushing for education….Do these celebrities know what their job is? To provide Escapism….to teach us how to dress, how to walk and how to pimp our rides. If he (George Clooney) succeeds, he’s going to influence our children to stop watchingTV and start caring about the world…" I didn’t catch the rest because I was hysterics…This is precisely why some people have issues with the likes of AJ, BP and GC going to places that aren’t "hollywoody"

COLD HARD MATH @ 05/02/2006 at 12:21 am

I hope Jared’s server doesn’t crash when Angie does give birth.

Mari, Please look at Angie. She is just as happy as can be about this baby. For the first time we see her rubbing and touching her baby which is how a mommy to be communicates with her baby. It also reassures a mommy to be that baby is OK. Angie was honest-she said that she thought that she would only adopt her children, but things changed (love can move mountains), and now she is pregnant with Brad’s baby and loving it. She is always very careful what she says about the baby because she knows that there are those who believe that she and Brad will(and more sadly should) love the bio-baby more than Mad and Z. She is fierce in her love of Mad and Z and Brad also appears to be this way (another bond between them). So they will not give any ammunition to the haters of the world to use against Mad and Z. Neither of my children were planned like picking a date on the calendar, but I fiercely love both of them. With my oldest I tried to squeeze into my regular clothes until one day a shirt split at work. LOL. Was I in denial, of course I was. Angie told us in the video for the first time that she has had a good pregnancy with few problems(oh how tabloids lied about how bad her pregnancy has been, baby in danger, etc.). She also said that she and Brad had been "smart" about making sure that all was well with the pregnancy and delivery. Does that sound like someone who does not want their baby? She (and Brad) will fiercely love this child as they do the two they now have. How can you doubt this? Look at how they both care for Mad and Z. Brad is a very very exceptional person as not every man (or woman)has the capacity to love children as much as he demonstrates. Look at the pictures at the airport where he with ease first carries Mad to the car, smiling and talking to him, and then takes Z from Angie, talks to Z and has her smiling, before he puts Z in the car. Any children these two have will be well loved. Stop worrying!

Additionally, one might imagine the fear Zahara and Maddox may feel when faced with the media hullaboo and oppressive interest often surrounding their simplest wants and needs. In those circumstances, the trust and security shown by those children in their parents is glaringly noticeable. These very much loved children, even surrounded by nannies and entourage, focus on their parents for their sense of safety and centre of being. One has no doubt that those who work for and support Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have similar character. One must add that whilst Mr. Pitt and Ms. Jolie are very attractive looking people, their appearance is much less than just an arrangement of features, and far more of what those features reflect of the inner persons. It is almost a relief to see such personalities who’s beauty is that of two people who have the courage to be true to themselves. Such people hurl into sharp relief, the essential selfishness, self absorption and utter trivialtiy of the Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Kevin Federline cadre. How much more could be done with that endless supply of dollars P.H. and ilk appear to have available to spend on ostentation and adornement? How much more could those foolish and trivial people make possible for those who need not just dollars, but genuine caring and interest in the reality of lives very different to their own, and who are far more than just an audience or backdrop for meaningless, immature and irrelevant self aggrandizement.

Mari said: "not a planned baby"Mari, Listen to her interview again. She said that "things changed" (after she met Brad), and she made a different "choice", from not having a biological child. If I have to spell that out, it means she made a "choice" to get pregnant. As I assume you are a female, I hope it’s clear to you that it means she went off her pills (or whatever contraceptives).

I MADE SUPER PIMP!!!! LOL!!!! That felt soooooo Good!!

AJ is a precious lady. This family rocks.

African Girl @ 05/02/2006 at 12:42 am

#109 / EveYikes! That was…..Wow. Now, if only they’ll read it. See, here is the trouble with ignorant people, they talk when they’re supposed to listen.

Jolie is more important than of any of you Maniston fans. Get over it, this lady is a natural beauty and winner. And Soon to be Brad’s wife.

Thank you, Jared for providing a link to the video clip to the interview (and to Guli and another for the MSNBC link)! Man, I took a nap because I’ve been so tired and slept through most of Dateline. In the backdrop, I had my tv on PBS and heard the Antique Road show on, with the hosts talking about the value of some vases and jars. Instead of listening to Angie, I was dreaming about what vintage milk bottles and jars to scrounge that might have appreciated in value as if they were Chihuly works of art. That show has a tendency to bring on delusions of grandeur your junk is actually an antique. I don’t know why I was also dreaming about knitting, but that’s for another day. Anyhow, I woke to remember Angie’s interview. And I missed most of it! So thank you again. Though, it was nicer to see her in full glory on tv than on the video clip. But hey, beggars can’t be choosy. Angie joked about how they got nervous whenever they visited any orphanages: "If I go to visit an orphanage, everybody gets nervous." (Thanks again to Estelle for the transcript.) Well, she must get nervous everytime they drive by a real estate agency or a "For Sale" sign: NO, BRAD KEEP YOUR FOOT ON THE GAS PEDAL AND KEEP DRIVING! DO NOT STOP THE CAR AND DON’T LOOK BACK! The interview was briefer than I thought it would be, but overall, it was good just to see she is in wonderful spirits and pregnancy is wearing well on her (as Mary Hart had said on Entertainment Tonight once).

AddictedtoBAMZ+1 @ 05/02/2006 at 12:49 am

Eve, #109… Hi everyone. This is a fun reading night. Eve, I really enjoyed your thoughts. You made me feel good. All so true, and expressed perfectly. Thanks, I needed that! I know this sounds silly, but I always feel sorry for Brad’s mom. With a son like him, it is so sad she rarely can be with him. Wonder what they will do on Mother’s Day?

# 101 | The Real LouI first saw the use of "X" as a euphemism for the ex on Brad’s forum, and I immediately liked it. I will try to use it more consistently as a substitute for her name.

I have to agree with Mari. I think most couples plan their children at least 2 years apart. Zahara was 8 months or so when this "planned" pregnancy began. Zahara as most children should have had 2 years without having to compete with a newborn. As well, Z has had difficulties to overcome with her health.

#93- exactly. no method of birth control is foolproof. condoms break, ocp affected by antibiotics etc. I don’t think it was a planned pregnancy because I think both BP and AJ are relatively careful people. With 2 failed marriages behind her, I don’t think she would be planning pregnancy so quickly. I think it was probably a ‘happy accident’.

Hello BAMZ+1 fans,i love how’s things going with the family. The "X" fans keep using karma is a ***** but it seems to me that the ‘X’ is the one whose getting it lol.Anyways i heard she’s thinking of adopting also, why oh why this woman doesnt have any originality.I’m really starting to hate her , i only dislike her before now i hate her, she’s the media *****!

Jolie-Pitt baby @ 05/02/2006 at 1:18 am

Okay, so far I like Davos - for a boy - love it!And for a girl I like Akilah but don’t think she will use it because of the movie - too Hollywoody so for a girl I like Nefertiti.Recap:Boy - DAVOSGirl - NEFERTITII think it will be a boy so welcome Davos Jolie-Pitt

I wasn’t sure either why Angelina did not give Zahara more time to be alone as a baby. I mean she has to compete with Maddox and then now a new baby. But then again, maybe pregnancy just happened and what can you do? I say she should adopt one every year. With adoption, you can’t pay attention to child being alone as baby because you are trying to save lives.

# 61 | Original Curious"Oh NO! JJ erased her and now I told myself to play nice!"You sure did, OC! lol. But you’re far too kind in your responses to the haters to be reined in. Now, I, on the other hand…On the name suggestions, I have been on a recent appreciation for one of our own’s moniker. Actually, I’ve always liked her name but I never thought of it as a name for a person until recently. It’s none other than…MALAYA! No, I’m not sucking up to her. She’s worthy enough on her own by her words and intelligence. Malaya is a nice sounding name and when taken with its meaning of "freedom," it’s a winner. Now, I’m in no way suggesting Angie and Brad consider it for a name, as I’m confident they will do fine on their own. I’m just on a kick with it recently. It’s too pretty of a name for a pet and I wouldn’t have a kid just to give it a pretty name. Ah well, I have my cyber friend to say it. So "Hi, Malaya!" wherever you are!! Oh, hi to my other fellow BAMZ fans and friends, as well!

# 123 | Thoughts I honestly do see what the big deal is about having 2 babies at once. You’re not going to love your kids any less because you’ve got 2 of them. I’ve said this before, but I come from a large family of 7 kids. My mother frequently had more than 1 child under 2 years of age at any given time. People do it all the time. I’ve got friends who’ve done it that way, too. It’s really not that big a deal.

# 124 | cindy2I lurked on you-know-where. There seem to be clearly two types of haters: 1. X fans 2. non-X fans who simply cannot stand Jolie. And the second type is the more vicious, bitter and sinister. It’s puzzling to see why these people are so unforgiving to Jolie, if she isn’t anything less than a perfect Saint. They analyze her every little expression, body&face, words and photos; they are stalking her just to find something to criticize.I really don’t know of any other celeb who encountered so much hatred, and what I see is a young woman just going about her life as best she can.

ANISTON PETITION @ 05/02/2006 at 1:56 am

THIS IS COPY AT PETITIONS.COM TO GET ANISTON OFF SCREEN:To: Hollywood Movie Industry As part of the movie going public, We would ask the Hollywood Movie Industry to stop subjecting the public to anymore Jennifer Aniston movies. We think that Jennifer Aniston is a TV actress with limited talent, screen presence, and beauty that is not ideal for movie screens. Putting Jennifer Aniston in a movie severely limits movies entertainment value and quality. Her presence in movies, limits the enjoy ability of the movie, as her acting, personality, and presence is quite irritating to the average movie going public. She has already received numerous chances to make a career-defining role but has not been able to capitalize on it. We ask industry executives to give other up and coming actresses the chance to make career-defining roles. In conjunction we would like to ask Print Media to limit the amount of Jennifer Aniston coverage on her complaints and excessive whining about her life. We also would like to ask Print Media to stop the constant barrage of Jennifer Aniston Coverage. Sincerely,——–HERE IS THE LINK IF YOU WANT TO SIGN PETITION TO GET JENNIFER ANISTON OFF SCREEN - THIS IS THE MOST HILARIOUS THING I HAVE EVER SEEN:http://www.petitiononline.com/ma…g/ petition.html

#128 - Be Sane, I don’t believe those Jolie haters are non-X fans. I was there when the sentiments changed to when they took it as an affront to be called an X fan. It was when the arguments were over whose film career was more successful in the box office. In their simpleton minds, they couldn’t grasp that X’s flops were more damaging to her career than any flops Angie has. Anyhow, they became indignant to be called X fans even as they tried desperately and futilely to defend X’s (dis)honor, her (marginal) talent and get this (hold onto your seat), her (ordinary) beauty. Yet, those harpies claim they aren’t her fans?!! Furthermore, by their justification to hate on Brad and Angie, they are sympathizing with that supposed wronged woman of X. Again, they claim not to be her fan or sympathizer to her. They are bullshit artists for a reason. And I suspect the latest tactic is to pretend to be a BAMZ fan under the guise of "disappointment" to go on their displaced anger.

Lovely Angelina….I am truly behind you & Brad & the kids. Hope for the best! Peace

# 32 | Poison_Cherry I think that name will be too much tobare for a child in that context, because I’ve read that Nefertitiactually means in Egyptian (Arabic????) "The beautiful woman hascome". I don’t know what Nefertiti translates in Egyptian but the name is associated with who is considered the most beautiful woman in history (forget the mythical Helen of Troy), whose beauty has been permanently recorded in a sculpted bust of her. If having the name of history’s most beautiful woman is too much of a baggage to carry, there is however another Egyptian queen with a somewhat similar name in Nefetari (though I do get their names and spellings confused). She was Ramses the Great’s favorite wife and the one who was his constant companion (well, maybe not constant as he did father about 100 children and they weren’t all hers). She had the distinct honor of huge reliefs and statues carved in the same stature as her husband. That’s a huge gesture of his love for his wife to elevate her status to his.

VERY TRUE CINDY2… YOU KNOW THE LAST COMMENT IS MORE OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO SOME OTHER FORUMS. THEY PRETEND TO BE A FAN OF BRAD & OR ANGELINA & BECAUSE OF THE X’S DIVORCE WITH BRAD NOW THEY ARE ABANDONING ANGIE & BRAD….REALLY??? I DO NOT BELIEVE IT A BIT…I AM A BIG FAN OF ANGELINA & WHATEVER HAPPEN TO HER, NO MATTER HOW BAD SHE WAS ON THE HATERS MIND, OR WHATEVER SHE DOES, I WILL FOREVER SUPPORT & BE BEHIND HER. THAT’S A REAL COMMITTMENT FROM A TRUE FAN. THESE HOOLIGANS PRETENDING TO BE A FAN ARE JUST IMPLYING THAT BRAD & ANGIE ARE LOSING THEIR FANS. I AM SO SURE THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE. SO TO ALL X-FANS & HATERS. EAT YOUR HEART OUT!

# 130 | cindy2 You’re right ! I had seen this in some forum, they would pretend they are ex-Brad or ex Angie fans, dissapointed and disgusted from what they have done, blah, blah, blah. I never believe it, they are just haters or JA fanatic fans. I’m a Brad fan’s since Legend of the fall, I love watching his movie or just stare at his poster or picture, fascinated with his every news and gossip. as long as he is happy , I didn’t care much which girl he is dating. I never like JA before, Brad was too pretty for her. never like her but not hate her until the divorce. I’m glad Brad finally found Angie, Angie is the prettiest girl he dated so far. and the smartest too.

Rumor Number One: Bless Ted C., the nosy, all-knowing bah-staad. Before he jetted off for sunnier pastures, he checked in with Desk Chicago. And boy did she have some major scoopage. See, our source–who practically lived on the Break-Up set–got a little visit from one of her camera-savvy amigos. "My friend came into the studio last night and told us that Jen and Vince Vaughn were engaged," she blabbed, so excited you’d think she’d beaten Courteney Cox to the matron-of-honor punch. "Vince’s sister had emailed him asking him if he would possibly shoot the video at the wedding, so it sounds like if it goes down, it might be here in Chicago."

i am a jen fan by the way. i do not hate brad and angie i wish them the best as i went through all your comments and whatever i, just saw how yu guys have decided to criticise jen and for the person that said a petition should be signed to remove jen from films guess what yu are going to have a long wait because she is not going nowhere ,yu have no right whatsoever to ask for such a thing yes agreed she has made films that have failed but whom in hollywood hasn’t name one person .i love jen and i always will and i just feel the best is yet to come and yu all whom criticise, abuse or do whatever will all swallow your words that is a promise and i can bet anything on it she has the talent to go far, before she got into friends she stared in so many failed comedies that she acitally thought she would not make it but she did didn’t she and the fact that she keeps on trying makes me appreciate her more she can convinently stop working but she keeps on going it is more about proving herself than making money we all will never agree on this jen/brad/angie issue , and jen does give she has said it so many times before and i quote her( i do give but i will never give for the puublicity when i see people announcing their donation it makes me mad because let us face it theywould always get the publicity based on this) i love jen and reallly thereis nothing ,absolutely nothing that will make me stop loving her and i pray to god that she is happy and that she finds that happiness she deserves whether with vince or whoever and what really is wrong with vince? he his a man isn’t he see as long has he makes her happy and feel loved that is allllllllllll that matters to me , wishing everyone the best .

I vote for the name Purple for a girl. And Blu for a boy. I think it is a boy.

ABOUT HER PREGNANCY:Curry: You know what I loved about being pregnant? I loved that feeling of not being alone, of speaking for two. You don’t have that?Jolie: Well, I suppose because I’m always with my kids all the time that I feel like I’m speaking for eight. (Laughter) You know? I suppose it’s more just like having one not sit on the other’s head. But some women are very, very grounded to the earth suddenly. I think I’m still kind of in denial about it.Curry: Denial? ]Jolie: I still have this kind of funny thing of like I can’t quite believe it. I was always very sure that I would adopt all my children. And I was quite at peace with that. And then things felt different and made some different choices. And we’ll continue to adopt. But now I’m pregnant.

Question 2 BAMZ @ 05/02/2006 at 4:58 am

Does anyone know where the inspiration for the name Maddox Chivan comes from?I know Zahara has Arabic meaning and Marley of course because of Bob Marley whose religion connects to Ethiopia. But I don’t seem to be able to figure out the motivation behind Maddox Chivan.Anyone?

I think it’s all Jennifer fault for trying to make the public take sides, with her interviews etc. She should have thought about it before she did the interviews. She started it, should have stay quiet… Now it seems everyone loves Angelina, and she could do no wrong. She is riding on a wave of good press, I can’t go through a day without coming across good press on Angelina. Jen should have know the public would have taken the side of Brad after everything died down, because everyone loves Brad. I mean everyone who is anyone is showing interest in adopting to get good press. I just hope she stops fueling it, because she can’t win against Brad and Angie.

I like Arabella for a girl.I lIke Atticus for a boy.# 35 | COLD HARD MATH How about MIRABELLA if its a girl. I like the name Atticus but it was already a name of Jake Gyllehaal’s dog, and i wouldnt want their child to be mistaken for JG’s dog, however cute it is lol.

Arabella is nice. If it’s a girl she needs a name worthy of Angelina. Angelina is such a nice name…

AJ IS A LOONEY @ 05/02/2006 at 8:01 am

I did NOT watch the interview. I am in no way going to support this woman. She’s a liar and shady. She’s using her kids and humanitarian work for publicity. And now i have lost support for the UN. Why do people have to continuously make up krap to commend her? What about the other celebs or normal civilians that have done so much? They are commending her because of her friggin beauty. Bottom line, she is not doing anything that different from what many, many others have done and are still doing. She’s a hard worker and I grant her that, but who knows. She’s got it easy in life, so I wouldn’t put it past the fact that it’s extremely easy for her to get by on her UN work while being a movie actress and globe trotting pregnant. And I have no interest in helping out the middle East or any of HER causes. And she’s too grotesquely skinny still during her pregnancy! Nasty! Bye Bye angelina! I don’t care about your supporters or your movies. The whole UN, the whole world can support you and I’ll still find you a liar and disgusting. There’s something about you I don’t like and I’m going to stick by it. The fact that people have to go out of their way to describe your little achievements (yes, little, because i know many, many people who have done quite so much more) is showing how you are nothing more than a celebrity getting her **** licked.

Hey AJ IS A LOONEY…If Angie is using the kids for publicity that’s 5 years of UN work. By Hollywood standard that’s long humanitarian task . I for one would not do that long or even adopt kids for show. That’s the haters would do. Like what the other people stated here…. IF A PERSON HAD A UNIQUE PAST THESE HATERS WILL NEVER BELIEVE ANY GOOD DEEDS & ACTIONS YOU DO TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOR THE BETTER. THEY WILL ALWAYS BRING UP YOUR PAST. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A CHANCE . I WOULD RATHER DEAL & ADORE A PERSON THAT PROVE HE/SHE CAN CHANGE THAN A PERSON THAT ALWAYS HAS A SWEET/NICE IMPRESSION BUT NOW DOING THINGS THAT THE PURITANS WILL GO BESERK. **THERE’S A SAYING- I WOULD RATHER DEAL WITH A DEVIL I KNOW THAN A DEVIL I DO NOT KNOW**

ANISTON THE HAG! @ 05/02/2006 at 8:30 am

#150 Lynn, I would not be surprise if they are doing it to boost the movie. that’s free publicity. Geez it worked with Mr & Mrs Smith why not that friggin movie! I also heard she contemplating adoption? Sign of desperation-I think so! Well, do not count my money to watch that movie. Too bad I enjoy watching Vince.

To #148I would consider your arguments as valid, if it didn’t have the stench of sour grapes all over it. You might as well be stamping your feet like a toddler screaming it’s not fair , it’s not fair!I cannot stand celebrities that are so obviously needy ,to be adored by the rest of the world because they are so insecure ,due usually to dodgy childhoodsSome celebrities have actual talent and give something back, in the way of entertainment , and I don’t mind thoseAngie by her own admission had a priviledged upbringing, with some sadness in a broken home. Millions of people suffer worse in their upbringing. She was a wild child, for attention more than likely. I think the whole BBT thing was a freudian-need-for -a-father-figure thingI believe, when she got Maddox and worked in Cambodia on Beyond Borders, it was a critical juncture in her life. She dropped BBT, got unconditional love from her kid, and saw first hand the suffering of others just because they are born in a certain place and time. I believe her actions ever since this time, proves she’s changed for the better on the insideBefore Brad, people were grudgingly accepting of the fact that she genuinely was well read on the Refugees needs and campaigns. Before Brad peolple accepted she loved her child, and he was her priority, and that she was healthier mentally, not doing mad red carpet antics. She was seen as classy, and more mature. Infact her emphasis on the world UN stage was going better than her movie career, esp when Alexander bombed at the box officeThen Brad happened. And more importantly Jen, distraught, bitter and alone went on numerous high profile chat shows and did personal in depth magazine interviews, to further her movie career primarily, and to turn people against Brad and Ange. I felt the W mag shoot was insensitive at the time, too. However Jen went wrong somewhere, media adoration is fickle, unless you give the public something back, with real talent showing through. Jen has not done that when public sympathy was at it’s height, but because she did not take the high road like Nicole K, she is going to suffer the hugest of backlashes now, and her fans are going down too, taking their sour grapes with them, like you #148I feel sorry for you and her. But don’t disparage AJ’s causes or her love for her family, cos I think it’s genuine. Instead hope JA can salvage her dignity

# 150 | Lynn Campbell | May 2, 2006 08:25 AMI think so too. Maybe the pity party backlash and the loss of interest in her (have you heard anything about her-who-shall-not-be-named lately?). She’s not even mentioned in the tabs anymore (now it’s Denise-Richie-Heather-Charlie, much more juicier than JA-VV). So how else to reignite interest in her and promote the movie which is coming out next month? Engagement and adoption!!! I hope for all our sakes the movie’s a hit (it’s coming out by June 2, after MI-3, Da Vinci Code and X3 have already been released) so JA will be happy and not have to drag BP/AJ’s name in her interviews anymore. I hope she does get married to VV so we all move on! It’s kind of funny though that she apes whatever BP/AJ have done — hook-up, shack-up, adoption. She’s only doing the wedding thing to on-up them.

#148 Yes you are the looney one, now go away!!!!!!!!!And join Maniston while she smokes a pack of cigarettes and shout at the ocean, she doesn’t know what charity is, she so self absorbed getting tans at salons, gambling at casinos, no time to have a baby ,you see that’s why you are here, you are hurt because she let a good man get away due to her selfishness. So you see looney, do not blame ANGIE or us for that matter go join your Idol Jen Jen as she shout at the ocean as we prepare for the bitrh of our precious little bundle of joy.OUCH!

i thought sierra was a good suggestion because its not too out there but still unique and has links to africa. kiara is also an african name which is nice as well. just my thoughts…

148 | AJ IS A LOONEYRead what you wrote yourself:"They are commending her because of her friggin beauty." "She’s got it easy in life, ""There’s something about you I don’t like"You are commenting on her looks, beauty, then "something I don’t like". Do you see that you are so jealous, and your jealousy is poisoning you so much you are denying your own human empathy towards others? Watch out, you are heading towards a Looner Bin yourself.

AJ is a LooneyYou think because the baby might have been a surprise, AJ doesn’t love her…..that’s too funny. I have to ask, is there a school "Perfecting the art of Irrational thinking?" How do these people come up things like these? Little Achievement is better than no Achievement….you silly, silly child.

For a girl, I like Kanya Aaliyah which translates to Daughter of the Goddess, Highest Most Exalted One and..For a boy either Jophiel or Zadkiel which translates to Beauty of God or Strenght of God

JEN’S FANS LISTEN * Vince and Jen are engaged*Are you happy for her? I’m bamz+1 fans SO HAPPY for her! So…JA’s fans please please please MOVE ON!

For a girls name anything that sounds or has a ring like Angelina is perfect. It’s very melodic & beautiful from any language saying it. It rolls of the tongue. I can’t stant any name with hard letters like "K" a hard "C" like AfriCa hard "G" like the German BriGitta. UGH! LOL!!Zahara is a form of Sahara. She’s named after the infamous dessert Maddox is a British ,old English name. She was a resident of London when she became his mother.

Posted on Tue, May. 02, 2006Media stalkingNot even celebrities deserve it In the first place: if I never see another stupid, cutesy shorthand (i.e., Billary, TomKat and Bennifers I and II) applied to another celebrity couple, I will light candles of thanksgiving. In the second place: Namibia? As you know unless you, well, have a life, that south African nation is where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — Brangelina to the cognoscenti — have ensconced themselves with their two young children while they await the birth of their baby. They’ve been followed by a phalanx of photographers eager to get shots of them and — the holy grail — the aforementioned baby. But it seems the paparazzi are not getting along well with the couple’s bodyguards, variously described as “thugs” and “goons” in press reports. Apparently, the photographers have been such a nuisance that Pitt and Jolie had to issue a statement pleading for privacy. This prompted Namibia’s prime minister, obviously kept insufficiently busy by affairs of state, to ask that the two be left alone. At least four photographers have reportedly been given a choice between departing the country and spending time in one of its fine penal institutions. But the camera crews soldier determinedly on, even following the family to the local KFC because, you know, inquiring minds want to know what they had for lunch. One imagines some loser with a Nikon staking out a chicken joint and phoning in urgent bulletins by satellite phone. (“It looks like … yes! Brad’s going with the hot and spicy, and we have now confirmed Angelina ordered the extra crispy.”)I have trouble figuring out what I think about all this. Part of me thinks it’s hysterical. Part of me thinks it’s pathetic. Part of me thinks it’s hysterically pathetic. And part of me simply remembers how it felt, nine years ago in August, to see that awful news bulletin. A car carrying Princess Diana and her boyfriend, Dodi al-Fayed, had raced into a tunnel in Paris, reportedly trying to elude paparazzi. The car, piloted by a drunken driver, never emerged.Maybe you remember how it felt, too, that sickening, sobering crunch of reality and frivolity colliding, lives of gossip, glamour and gossamer brought to an end in a cry of brakes and a cruelty of asphalt. Angry celebrities like George Clooney and Rosie O’Donnell used the tragedy to point out that it’s no fun being camera stalked and that although fame means many things, it should not mean surrender of one’s right to use the toilet unmolested by inquiring minds. There followed much hand-wringing and soul searching from editors who bought invasive pictures and readers who bought magazines such pictures appeared in. Out of this came vows to turn away from the practice and support of intrusion journalism.Nine years later, there’s a stakeout at a KFC in Namibia. (“Code Red! Angelina has changed her order! Do you copy?”)A man asked me the other night why media are like this. Why, with mass murder in Sudan, an insurgency in Iraq, the national debt scaling nosebleed heights, they spend so much time, talent and treasure on ephemera.I told him media are like this because the people are, because this is what people want, what matters most to them. They are less interested in the news that affects them, the news that determines how and sometimes whether they live.Yes, the entertainment industry is an influential multibillion-dollar concern. And yes, too, gossip is eternal. But don’t you sometimes get the sense that we have become conspirators in our own distraction, eagerly ingesting a media opiate that discourages too much thinking, too much digging, too much asking? It’s a sign of how distorted are our priorities, how shallow our concerns, that two actors have to flee to Africa to have their baby in peace. And that they can’t do so, even then.© 2006 The Miami HeraldLeonard Pitts Jr. is a columnist for the Miami Herald. I too am a firm believer in education, but there are more important issues in the third world countries right now then classrooms. How can you educate a people to harvest their own food and ward off aids if they are starving and dont have adequate shelter? These people dont have clean drinking water nor do they have the necessary diets to keep them strong and healthy. They are contracting aids because there is no protection for them. Shouldnt attention be turned to providing them with the necessities of life before decorating classrooms? Shouldnt they be made into a strong and healthy people before they can learn to read and write? I am one of the few who donate a fair amount of money to the third world countries every month, I hope that my dollars give someone clean water and food and hopefully shelter instead of paper and crayons. If the whole is healthy they would be able to do more for their communities. I sincerely hope that my money is going to purify water and give them food and educate them on the use and necessity of condoms, and only then build the schools and give them the education and the educators they need to help themselves. But only after we help make them a healthy and strong nation. Just my thoughts and my hopes. But of course someone will reply to shut my mouth and mind my business and go to ja site because im not agreeing with your beloved Angelina.

# 171 | ileah————————What’s exactly your point? that AJ should be talking about something different? something more important? do you want her to talk about every single topic that bothers humanity right about now??? Get real, she’s said it herself, she’s just trying to help…she’s not out to save the world, NOBODY can. She has taken part on something she believes in ONE thing…why don’t YOU go ahead at tackle the water issue since you seem to know damn well what’s going on….geez haters, get real and get a life!

# 8 - Guess the baby name -A girl named Salome

I think all the issues fall under HUMAN RIGHTS!!! Right to have an education, right not to be segrated from your own nation, right not to be slained for no purpose, etc. Did you guys also know that there are different types of genocide? Anyway, I praise those celebrities that are helping, trying to make a difference in this world, and instead of spewing which category or right should go first, we should just aide as much as possible to these catastrophic issues. Peace ppl =)

# 172 | blatant stupidity Did Angie said she want to experience the reality of Afican life ? She never said that she did said she can’t change the world but she’s willing to help. Bill Gate and his wife is the most generous philantrophist in the world, do you expect them to live in the slum area of Bengalore? when doing their yearly charity work.

Like i said of course some idiot would come on here and criticize me because i didnt agree with Jolie. Well #176, let me ask you, what do you personally do to fight poverty in the third world countries? What do you do to fight aids? What do you personally do to help and form of humanity? My guess is not much! The majority of the few who do try and make a difference have opinions and concerns that are honest and justified. If you couldnt provide any kind of an answer that was intelligent or knowledgable, then perhaps you shouldnt reply to anything other then what kind of soft drink Angie prefers. As for being a hater, I dont think i would contribute any of my hard earned money to a country that i dont belong or to a people that i dont know, if i were. Why dont you make a difference? Get off ur butt and go on out there and educated people in your own community about the dangers of not wearing condoms? You dont have to help third world countries, you can help in your own backyard. But until you can sit there and say that you are making a difference then dont waste time by pointing out my short comings by sincerely trying to help

#98 - Lola - Your husband/boyfriend/lover and I had lunch today and you know, something, ..well "it just happened". Chin up old girl and please don’t ***** and moan about what happened to you. Please be sure you don’t shed a single tear or try to deal with any pain you may feel about this public humiliation with so much as a bit of humor. That will immediately beclassified as "whining" . You have but one choice, which is to "suffer in silence" because I am now your lover’s newest goddess. I’m sure you understand. We will soon be sending photographs and postcards from our travels to all your former mutual friends and relatives. Please do not speak to anyone at all regarding this matter because if you do we will find a way to blame you and make it your fault.

If AJ tackles every single topic, then again other ppl [haters] are going to hate her more for that just cuz…their shallow reason—she’s talking & helping all of them and that she should leave some for the other people so they can help. hMM, now I’m having a flashback to what African Girl wrote on the list a while ago..Global Warming - AJ’s fault. How dare she be that Hot.Wars - AJ’s Fault. Seriously can’t this woman decide which side of the fence she is on? Poverty - AJ’s fault. Why does she need Toilet paper for? There starving kids all over the world. The money she spent on Tissue would have fed ten billion children. The list goes on and on…ppl are going to keep adding shallow things just to get their points cross that AJ = NO [to them] God bless AJ and others for their humanitarina works.

Agree with you, I think these rumor of adoption and engagement are another gimmick setup by JA cronies, remember it’s already May, her movie is coming out on June 2. It’s just like the 8 M$ supposed wedding which coincide with the film FWM, She and Huvane knew the pity party is not working anymore. but I really which She and Vince get engage ASAP. and stop mentioning her ex in every interview.____________________________________Actually, I like Vince Vaughn, and wouldn’t wish MANISTON on my worst enemy. A few things are at play here I agree:1) This is yet another B.S. rumor being floated by her camp and PR *****, Stephen Huvane, to try and keep Maniston in the news, as she’s probably having a breakdown as we speak, and sedating herself with a big fat doob over the amazing coverage BAMZ has gotten all week. ‘The most beautiful woman in the world,’ The most beautiful FAMILY,’ Brad looking like the GOD he is…ANGELINA all gorgeous and golden and BURSTING w/ baby — My LORD, if I didn’t LOATHE MANISTON W/ EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING, I’d almost feel sorry for her….BUT I DON’T.2)Even if the story is true (engagement), it’s STILL B.S. What I mean by that is….Maniston is 4 for 4 in bombs, the last film got the best reviews, and wouldn’t you know it - NOT because of her…hell, the critics even said as much — that the other actresses were seasoned pros’ while MANISTON WAS THE WEAK LINK…and even that bombed. So ‘The Break Up,’ which VAUGHN IS PRODUCING (cha ching?) needs the hype to spin fast and furious like - and hopefully garner decent boxoffice, to save Maniston’s career, and establish Vaughn as a successful producer — it’s about ANYTHING THEY CAN DO to make a hit at this point. So I don’t doubt they’d ***** themselves out for their careers, and to stay in the media. 3) VINCE VAUGHN is with her because of the above — but also because she’s worth a reported 100 mil, from her ‘Friends,’ TV show days — he’s sick of the broke bimbos he is reported to date, and while YOUNGER THAN MANISTON, is nt getting any younger. I expect he’d rather start a life with a wealthy rich ex sit-com star, than a scores stripper, ya know?4)What’s difficult for me to reconcile, is HOW ON EARTH can VAUGHN marry a woman who is still CONSUMED over another man, angry and bitter. That says that either his self-esteem is worse than hers, or he’s GAY, and covering by hooking up w/ her.

Sudan Accepts Darfur peace deal but rebels dig in for concessionsBy Leonard Doyle, Foreign EditorPublished: 01 May 2006The Sudanese government, which for three years has been waging war on its own people in the region of Darfur, said yesterday that it had accepted a peace plan prepared by the African Union. If it sticks, the accord should mean that the authorities disarm the Janjaweed militias which have been responsible for countless murders of civilians in villages and refugee camps. The militias, drawn from Arab tribes, often attacked on camelback or horseback, striking panic into the villagers. They were regularly backed up by helicopter gunships as they attacked. The rebellion linked two rebel groups called the Sudanese Liberation Army/ Movement (SLA/SLM) and the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM).However it was the murderous tactics of the Janjaweed against defenceless civilians which shocked international opinion. She is not running for officeShe is not hurting these people or us by talking about these issues. A gossip/ celeb site like this would not even mention these topics if a celeb was not attched to it, so what she is doing works, if you feel shelter is more important than education ,that’s fine, AJ would be pleased the subject is coming up ,within this demographic of people for debate I don’t feel that these people will lose anything from being educated esp in the longterm, there are plenty of agencies working on the immediate shelter/food/meds issue with AJ herself has talked about in the pastI just don’t see that you have brought up a valid reason for disliking what AJ is all about

# 145 | 88 Don’t be silly. I don’t love Brad. Never did. Never will. He’s really not very smart and once that pretty face can’t get pumped up by Botox and other injections, he’s done. Latching on to Angelina Jolie just extended his fame by 15 mins., but there are so many younger, smarter, hotter actors coming up the ranks that it’s not even hip to say you like Brad Pitt if you’re under 30.

# 191 | IDIOT JOLIE | The only tears I saw was from Jennifer Aniston. AJ is "inspired" by her work with refugees. The only "scandal "was the one promoted by Tabloid magazines for million dollar profit gains and JA herself in her redundant interviews. Fact : STILL it REMAINS after 2 YEARS NOW, there is NO scandal, no affairs, both parties have LONG moved on… try it you might like it. They do.

# 175 | ileah | May 2, 2006 11:30 AM | Report Abuse Where exactly have you been the last 5 and half years? Angelina began with the plight of the Refugees. Hello UNHCR. What exactly did you think she was talking about when she wrote her book? What did you think was happening over in Sierra Leone, Darfur, Rwanda, Columbia, Nom Penh, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nicaragua? You know those countries she’s been visiting. She wasn’t on vacation; she was actually bringing world attention to these proud, beautiful people. Do you really need her to tell you again and again that these people need our help? Okay so she will; hence the Darfur AD. Does that appease you? You know every country doesn’t have the same problem or are you only interested in the dying? So how do you tell a child who has finally overcome starvation that he or she can’t go to school now because you don’t think illiteracy is a big enough problem to tackle? When you come up with that answer, please let me know. And before you ask me what I do. Let me tell you, I give of both time and money. I’ve spent time in these camps and let me tell you…if you think it’s horrible to watch on television, imagine spending up to 3 months in one, living as they do. The only difference is you get to home and to them this is home. My chosen career centers on them. I’m the one who gets to visit these great big beautiful Fortune 500 companies and convince them to donate up to 1% (because to ask for more is usually a flat out no.) of their gross annual profits (or earnings if you will) then after they agree, I get to decide which country’s (3rd world) economy will get the boost. This requires extensive time, effort and travel. Some of these countries don’t like to deal with women, let alone women of color WITH a college education Master’s degree or PhD. They have serious issues and they don’t make it easy. I put up with a lot of crap, some of it you wouldn’t believe. Some of these countries want the money but not necessarily to help those who need it. I have to follow the money (and it’s sometimes quite a hefty sum. And Companies like Disney, Microsoft, Home Depot Supply, Johnson, etc want to make sure that the money gets where it should) So it’s hard to get them the help that this money can buy. My sister deals in the same field only she actually goes in and restructures and reallocates (if that makes sense) She’ll have to explain it when she comes back. She’s very good at it and it takes her all over as well, but it is also hard work and we do it gladly even though it means spending a great deal of time away from our families. Most people on this site help in anyway they can. Some have given either time, money education. Some give all three. Some work in the field or volunteer. Even if it is to post a link for us to go and sign up or read the latest news regarding these plights they are doing something. So now what do you do again? If you are helping, that’s great.

#206 & #207 are maniston pathetic fans…so jealous and envious…pathetic losers…

#188 189 191 195 198 JOLIE S………………DID YOU FORGET TO TAKE YOUR PROZAC. Go to Dr. Feelgood immediately I think he needs to change your medication to SEROQUEL instead. You seem to be so angry, calm down and take your meds right now.

183-And exactly whos money do you think you are using to build the school there? That would be mine. Your key word there is work, you work at a health clinic, why are you not doing anything purely as a volunteer? How much of your pay check do you donate to the causes you believe in? If the people dont have clean water and food and shelter how important do you think a chapel is? Or a school for that matter? If you truly have been to third world countries then you must see where the need exactly is and can you actually justify a chapel if they are hungry? And #186, you are truly the perfect example of an idiot, global problems are universal and to educate a healthy strong culture is the perfect way to solve a lot of the problems we are facing. Privileges? Since you are so arrogant as to point out the privileges that i may or may not have, all you have done is to slap the face of one of the people who donate the money to help the problems and hopefully find their solutions. Have you laid any of your money or time on any matter of any importance or are you too one of the many who ***** but do nothing? The money that i donate is by free will, the money that i have off my check every week to support the welfare bunch is not by choice, however i do hope that for every hundred dollars i loose every day, one woman is giving her family a better life and for that i am grateful. And as for 9/11, this is a perfect example of pure, unbridled hatred, similar to the hatred that you just demonstrated on your post to me. I am not a Jolie hater nor am I an Aniston fanatic. I am trying to do what i can for the good of the world while clowns like you sit here and take out your menopausal bullshit on everyone who has something valuable to say. Funny I look over the site and cant help but see how many of the same people, say the same things, all day long. Guess your not helping your community, instead you sit there and find your importance by pointing out everyone elses flaws. You have my sympathy

May I make a suggestion — I know some of you guys want to address the negative hater Jolie posters, but do you mind not referencing their ’screename,’ (such as IDIOT JOLIE or other insults), as it creates a thread where there will be 20 posts in a row headed with ‘IDIOT JOLIE’ Not a GOOD LOOK, ya know what I mean? Thanks. That is all — except for this tidbit I found on IMDB: Rosie O’Donnell is my new BESTEST friend….Rosie O’Donnell in a Rage Over Aniston5 November 2003 (WENN) American funnywoman Rosie O’Donnell tore into Friends actress Jennifer Aniston during an editorial meeting - according to Rosie magazine editor Susan Toepfer. The incident - which allegedly occurred last year - was raised during O’Donnell and publisher Gruner+Jahr Usa bitter lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court Monday. According to Toepfer, O’Donnell went into a rage when she suggested that the magazine ran a feature on the stunning wife of Brad Pitt, saying that Aniston would be a boring interviewee. Toepfer alleges O’Donnell said: "That is an example of someone I don’t want to do. The girl has nothing to say." Gruner+Jahr are suing the League Of Their Own actress for $100 million for breach of contract after she walked out on the floundering publication. O’Donnell is counter-suing for $125 million arguing that the publisher breached their contract by undermining her authority as the magazine’s editor-in-chief. The trial continues. _______________________________________________http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000093/news

# 191 | IDIOT JOLIE | The only tears I saw was from Jennifer Aniston. AJ is "inspired" by her work with refugees. The only "scandal "was the one promoted by Tabloid magazines for million dollar profit gains and JA herself in her redundant interviews. Fact : STILL it REMAINS after 2 YEARS , there is NO scandal, no affairs, both parties have LONG moved on… so try it you might like it. They do. And BTWTrue Africa doesn’t like Jolie THEY ADORE HER. Why don’t you go back to the hole you crawled out of because no one here cares about your bonehead statements. You are spewing hate out of anger and spite for a cause that was dead a long time ago. You don’t want to make JA skin crawl.

203-Phi..Thank you so much for showing me that there are actually people on this site that do rather than *****. Unlike you, I am not able to travel to the countries to donate of my time and for that I am truly thankful for people like you. The original reason for my post was to find people who might actually think as i do, that to educate a people, you first have to strengthen them. I do agree that once this is done, schools should be erected to educated and allow them to provide for themselves. I think that Jolie is on the right track about bringing the attention of the average person to the tragic living conditions of the people, but i think schools are frivilous at this point in time. How many i wonder have looked beyond Jolie and looked closely at the conditions the children are playing, and the structures they call home. I dont care if she sleeps on the frozen ground or in a five star resort, i just think that she should bring more attention to the necessities of life and not something that can be brought on later. What the hell good are schools and chapels if everyone is dying because they are thirsty or hungry? Thats the first thing im going to worry about with my children, sending them off to school with empty bellys, or going to church without water for the past week. I think birth control should also be top notch along with water and food. I can only imagine the horrid conditions there that you have experienced and the heaviness of your heart at not being able to do more, but you and I are a start. Afterall what could you do without my money and what good would my money do without you? I just wanted to point out the issues that I think are more important in the beginning than schools and chapels. The dead cant read and the dead cant pray

Let´s be honest: she could be at home, resting and doing nothing until the baby comes, but not… she stills travels, talks about important issues, tries to change what is wrong…isn´t that something to admire?!. Angie, and Brad rocks!!!I LOVE THEM MORE THAN EVER!!!!!!!!

I think Brad and Angie make a great couple. The few things Angie has said about him are so supportive and so loving. You contrast that with Jen. During one of the first interviews he and JA did as a married couple with Diane Sawyer I remember him saying he wanted a half dozen kids and she rolled her eyes and said one, maybe two. She has publically criticized his taste in furniture, architecture and his charity activities. No wonder Brad loves Angie! She obviously thinks the world of him and I hope this couple lasts forever (although this is Hollywood and things don’t ever seem to last) I know they will love those kids as passionately and as joyously as they do now–no matter what happens. Such lucky lucky children to have such devoted parents! Not always the case in the world of actors and actresses!

had to be there @ 05/02/2006 at 1:40 pm

Hey guys we saw this discussion earlier on the thread and got a tickle and giggle from it, so we thought that we’d post this as well The pregnancy wasn’t planned to happen so early. Angelina decided that she would spend the majority of 2005 bonding with Zahara and allowing Brad and Maddox to become a true father son ‘duo’ (not my words) She and Brad agreed that they would start trying in December as she also had nothing immediately happening in 2006. (at least that was her schedule at that time. It has since changed a bit.) Of course this meant that she had to go off the pill. It was suggested to her that the affects of the pill vary and that though it could take up to 3 months before she could become pregnant, that was not always the case and to be prepared to use other means of birth control in the mean time. Brad also wanted to be with her during most of her pregnancy, (he’s really a hands on kind of guy..and very cute at it.) Well anyway, They went on this way for a bit, but as does happen in these very passionate relationships, a chance was taken one night when there was no other means of available contraceptive. You know…the old “Honey I promise I’ll pull out” well…suffice it to say…eh …he didn’t and a few weeks later he was a surprised by the whack she gave him as the positive pregnancy test.So it was planned…just not the way it happened. LOL!!!! We laughed for days when they told us. You gotta see the expressions!

I too admire Angelina or anybody with a high profile to turn it off themselves and onto the "issues" they are concerned on. It doesn’t matter that the minority of Jolie haters say. It has not impacted Angelina or Brad. Just sad to see some people so blinded by their hate. It is a comfort knowing that the majoritysee through the smokescreen of anti Jolie supporters.

After reading posts on Angie and her work in Africa and the nay-sayers–you know many Africans live on less than $3 a day. School costs $16 a year (according to Oprah’s work) and many can’t afford that. If Angie raises even $1000 from us Angie fans or people who are driven to help because of her work, that is 62 kids that could go to school for a year. I assume her work raises a lot more than that. Why hate her so much when she is doing something from the heart that is providing education, medicines and the like for people who are often ignored and forgotten. How is it hurting you for her to do good works? She has been doing this for over five years. She has written a book on it: Notes from My Travels and I believe all proceeds go to fund her work. It is well written and articulate regardless of whether she wrote each word or a ghost writer did. She knows what she is talking about. I’ve been to Africa to work in Kenya with the wildlife on an Earthwatch volunteer expedition. The people were incredibly nice. Several of them had tears in their eyes when they saw the amount of tips we left them after the expedition. They all thanked us and said our tips would give their children the best Christmas ever. Our tips probably came out to about $100/person for a 15 day project. They talked about the books and school supplies they would be able to give their children and how much the children would appreciate them. Do our children talk about the books and school supplies they are getting for Christmas? I don’t think so! Anyway, whatever Angie can do, Brad can do, George can do, Nicole Kidman can do, Oprah can do, Bono can do–this is good for a country that has so little. Whether you like any of these folks or not, they have shown over TIME and the YEARS that they are committed to their charitable endeavors. Isn’t this far better than watching Paris Hilton selfish antics? Or Lindsay Lohan’s? Or any of the rest of the current hollywood younger crop coming up? They all seem more concerned with clothes and dates and partying than doing anything that would make the world a better place.GO Angie and Go Brad! You are doing good and you are saving children.

I just wish people would let it alone.Jolie Dismisses Stealing Pitt from AnistonBy WENN| Tuesday, May 02, 2006 Photo GalleryHOLLYWOOD - Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has slammed criticism she stole Brad Pitt from his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, insisting she could never be with an unfaithful man.The Mr. and Mrs. Smith star, who is pregnant with her and Pitt’s first biological child, has faced intense media scrutiny after Pitt left Aniston to be with her last year. And now she is defending their relationship, claiming that Pitt and Aniston had already split when she and Pitt became a couple. Jolie says, "I wouldn’t be attracted to a man who would cheat on his wife. "But I’ve grown too much to be hurt by what people’s opinions of my love life is. That doesn’t hurt me. "I don’t read the gossip–although it is never nice when the world feels entitled to an opinion about your family."

African Girl @ 05/02/2006 at 2:15 pm

# 175 / IleahI am a firm believer in the old saying “give a man a fish and he will eat for a day but Teach a man to fish and he’d eat for a lifetime”. It is for this reason I am a firmer believer in Education. From your post you think Education = Beautiful Classrooms, Buildings… while it would be nice to have beautiful classrooms, I do believe education goes ways beyond that. For me, Education =Empowerment. You’ve based your opinions on one assumption: That attention is NOT being paid to Providing Clean water, Providing Protection, Providing them with the necessities of life…. except you know this for a fact, I don’t think you should criticize Ms. Jolie or anyone else who is pushing for education. Like someone mentioned, AJ has stated numerous times that Education is what she holds dear to her heart, Just like someone else would push Health care and another clean water…call it Division of Labor of you want to look at it in a more pragmatic sense but the point is, at the end of the day, These people get the help they want. Besides, isn’t it better to teach them how to keep their water clean instead of just giving it to them or how about teaching them the importance of safe sex, good and healthy living and then provide them with protection? It’s like Déjà vu in this place because we keep having the same discussions, especially on the issue of education. Everyone knows by now where I stand on this issue and I would want to bore them by repeating the same thing over and over again but since I have a lot of resources on this issue, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to share.1) Many people suffering from poverty in third world countries have no or very little formal education. 2) Without an education many cannot begin to solve many of their financial and personal problems3) Without Education, these people can not work. No work means no constant flow of income.4) Without money and financial stability people cannot provide their families with shelter, safe food, and the bare necessities. The poor cannot afford to buy good food, drink healthy water, and keep themselves healthy5) Poor health due to inadequate nutrition, hygiene and health services further limits their prospects for work and the circle continues. Foreign Aids come in to play to help them establish those things they lack – Good Hospitals, Good water purification processing plans, Good Schools….once these things are established, the people have to find a way to pay its upkeep. It would be unrealistic to assume that they’ll get all these things for free. And Last I heard, Giving wasn’t subjected to only those you know but again, Giving is a choice.

African Girl–great post.Keep on mentioning the message. I was in advertising and it always amazed us that we could advertise on a horizontal (meaning at the same time/same day) level on radio/tv/newspapers and a vertical (for two weeks) and we would still find a considerable amount of the population hadn’t heard of our product. You have to keep saying it and and saying and when someone is ready to be receptive to the message they will get it. And then who knows what that person will do with it. They may take it and run with it. It may be a person with millions of dollars that can donate/fund a charity. You never know. Just keep right on saying your bit about education! I promise you I get it!

WHY IS THERE SO MUCH HATE ON THIS BLOG FOR KATIE HOLMES? I AM VERY MUCH A BAMZ+1 FAN. BUT I DONT THINK KATIE HOLMES HAS EVER DONE ANYTHING TO DESERVE THE KIND OF THINGS SAID ABOUT HER AND HER FAMILY. I KNOW IF ANYONE ATTACKS BAMZ THAT I’M READY TO GET ON THEM LIKE WHITE ON RICE, SO AS MY GAMMY SAYS WHAT’S GOOD FOR THE GOOSE SHOULD BE GOOD FOR THE GANDER. AND BEFORE U PEOPLE JUMP DOWN MY THROAT, I DONT REALLY CARE WHAT TOM CRUISE BELIEVES OR THAT HE JUMPED UP AND DOWN ON A COUCH FOR A WOMAN. I DO CARE THAT HE AND HIS FUTURE WIFE HAVE A HAPPY AND HEALTHY. THAT’S THE DECENT THING TO DO, DON’T U GUYS THINK SO INSTEAD OF PICKING ON A NEWBORN AND IT’S MOTHER. AND BY THE WAY I HATE BROOKE SHIELDS SHE’S TALENTLESS AND WILL ALWAYS BE A NOBODY. THE PRESS SHE GOT FROM THAT IS THE MOST SHE’S HAD SINCE HER DATE WITH MICHAEL JACKSON. IMO DO WITH THAT WHAT U WILL SHE’S AN ASS.

#223 - Tiny DancerI agree with you on how much Brad must love Angelina. In one sentence in the interview she said three nice things about him, that he’s a very aware person, that he’s doing a lot of good things, and that he’s a great parent. That is more nice things than JA ever said about him in seven years! The worst part about that, too, is we can see what kind of supportive partner Brad has been with Angelina, you know he also gave JA her equal share of support and kindness. Thank goodness Brad finally has a champion.

medulla…yeah its great, men and the thought of sex can be very powerful! if it was a man offering a woman, most women, just go nah its ok! but i dont think ive ever know a man not to fall for it! oh the pros of being a red blooded woman!!! lol

# 248 | stef - Hiya Stef, I am doing good as well, but having a very slow day at work, but am leaving for New York tomorrow so I am excited, going for my sister’s sweet sixteen, its going to be fun

# 272 | Lynn Campbell | May 2, 2006 02:54 PM I so agree! I was just watching one of those videos on bradfans.net when JA famously forgot to thank Brad when she won her Emmy — during her moment of glory she forgot him!! And yet he’s always been there for her — even coming to her tapings and appearing on her show. But now, Angie praises him so much — even when they hooked up last year, she said he’s a sweet, great yet goofy guy. You can tell how much she really cares for him! Man, I am so glad that he finally found someone who deserves the kind of love he had to give!!!

((chanel)) @ 05/02/2006 at 3:04 pm

but i dont know how to do that to go to the owner and ask him if he will send me the video lol i dont know were to go i would be very thankfull if u would do that please i will give u my email and u will write my email to the owner and he will send me so can u go and do that?

Tiny Dancer @ 05/02/2006 at 3:08 pm

Why are Angie and Brad doing the things they do? This is a news alert that just came across: http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L02192874.htm They aren’t mentioned in it, but it does say over half the children in Ethiopia are underweight. 40% in Burundi and Madagascar. Only one country of the 17 studied was making headway in reaching "acceptable" numbers of non-starving children. That is why Angie does what she does. She sees a problem. It moves her heart and her soul. Personally I believe she is deeply commited to the children of the world that have nothing. For the haters–get off your butts and get moving to do something to help children out of poverty. If you don’t want to help a third world country, there are plenty of kids here in the US that need help. Donate money to a children’s organization, volunteer at food banks and pantries. Be a foster parent. Teach a child to read. Be a big brother or sister. Be a Court Appointed Special Advocate (http://www.nationalcasa.org/) where you can work with a family and the court system to make sure a child is safe. Instead of sitting on your butt criticizing Angie, do something for the good of the world. She certainly isn’t listening to you (thank god) nor is she worried about your opinion (again thank god). Go Angie. Go Brad and Go anyone who is volunteering and helping end the war on poverty and especially the war on children’s poverty.

alexanderina…wow sound like your going to have a good laugh. sweet sixteens are a big deal over there arent they? our big birthday is 18 (legal to drink) and then 21! my 18th was the best party i have ever been too, i organised it, spent my money on it (i didnt expect mum and dad to pay for everything, they brought most of the booze) which is good in my eyes! also my next door neighbour who was always up for a laugh got a stripper for me, my mum also paid for half of him! it was he funniest time of my life! by the time he came i was fairly drunk and was dancing and he tapped me on te shoulder, (let me just say when i mean stripper you think sexy, muscles, a gorgeous man right?) well he was skinny not very pretty and was shorter than me! it was so funny, i swear i nearly died when he made me do alsorts to him! i must say im a performer and i had an audience so i played up to them more than he did! i will never forget that night! what i would give for that back again! tell your sister to enjoy every minute!

# 268 | Medulla |No, nagging doesn’t work for mine either LOL. My tactics:1. Delegate the entire project to him–hand over all control so it’s HIS project, not mine. If he starts a little bit, then I come out blasting with praises and owe. (aka "Praise ‘n Owe")2. I keep a list of things needs to be done. In my husband’s case when he has a deadline, things tend to get done as he needs to procrastinate. When under a deadline, he bakes cakes, puts up shelves, fixes my son’s race cars and changes batteries on electronics.3. Give up (common occurance :)

lookwhaticando @ 05/02/2006 at 3:19 pm

223- Tiny DancerThe thing is, Jen knew what a good man Brad is, She knew he is loyal, I think she just thought, he would never leave/divorce her, that she could just keep stringing him a long with a empty promise of giving him the family he wanted so badly

medulla…are you kidding? all men are the same! well all the ones i have come across! this might say something for you, my auntie just had a baby boy and her little girl said, " mum he needs changing can i help you" she said yes as its handy for them to learn right, so she was changing him and then said to her mum " can i was his Brains?" i nearly wet myself! i swear i would love to know where she heard that! but so true! lol

Thank you AG I love the name Sabre and Haven is just soooo pretty not to mention it is her brother’s. So how’s it hangin in the Chi this week?God I miss home.

Stef, that uis funny about the stripper. I had a party for my sweet sixteen it was okay no stripper though :). I throw myself a party for my 30th birthday last year it was great, had lots of fun. My sister’s party is huge I swear the girl invited people back from her preschool days. Its going to be a good party she is a good girl and she is the baby of the family, kinda of spoiled :) but we love her. I will. Thanks

Xan you aren’t missing much…the weather is unstable as the Chicago Weather (lol). One minute, we are basking in the glory of wearing tank tops (well not me but others) and the next we’re reaching for our coats. Middle of May is when Chicago wakes up, so everyone is looking forward to that. All the festivities in the park….the taste of chicago in june…..maybe I should stop, it’s unfair to do that to you….lol

Excuse me for *snifs* a sec…. # 266 | African Girlhuh? what you smell girl?

249 African Girl-You and I are at opposite sides of the sphere. How can a man fish when he is under nourished and his body is dehydrated from lack of water? I agree that he should be taught to fish but only after we tend to his body and his mind, give him back his strenght of character and body. In some schools there is a breakfast program in place to make sure that the children are fed before they are able to learn, it is my belief that the country must be fed before it can learn. There is a reason that the breakfast programs are in existance and that is because a child cannot learn if he is hungry, chemicals in his brain do not function if it is starved for nourishment. It works in the same way, our brains would not function if it were starved for oxygen. So while you and I have different thoughts of direction at least we have one thing in common and that is the good of the world, which is more than some can ever attest to. I am not fortunate enough to be able to donate of my time to do the manual labor that is needed but i do volunteer within my community and give several hours a week to mental illness which is my profession. That allows me to be able to donate as much money as i can to help the needy

Talkingtree @ 05/02/2006 at 3:44 pm

Hello Advocates for Angelina Jolie. I have been reading many of your enlightening posts and wish to thank you for your support of our sister with roots to the American Indain Nation of the USA. Perhaps to many around the world she is an advocate for other continents besides her own, but do not be fooled by a Hawkthat flies amongst many trees of many nations. Angelina has also lent her support and money to the tribes of the United States and Canada. there is no limit to her open heart that hears the spirits that whisper in her ears to all the children and families whose days are focused on where the next meals for the week are coming or if their will be enough heat to them warm in the cool of the night. Many Blessing to the Great Father for shining his light through Angelina Jole.

STEF you are so funny girl and so accurate.I put the disclaimer because I do not want to be attacked personally ,we are all BAMZ+1 Family and we care except for some occasional HATERS.But please do ask the little cutie where she heard that it is so funny.

ileahThe question should not be why we feel the need to defend Angelina, but, why you feel the need to criticize her for dedicating herself to a world-wide education? Do you feel the same need to criticize Laura Bush, another education advocate, for dedicating her time and effort to education? Do you think her efforts would be better spent helping Katrina victims instead? I fail to see your tirade as anything except pure jealousy, bitterness and hate. Everyone has a choice to make as to what they want to dedicate there time and effort to to make this world a better place. And yes, it does take all of us. I happen to see multiple people who are dedicated to eradicating worldwide poverty, Bono , Bill & Melinda Gates to name a few. George Clooney has taken the mantle of speaking out against genocide and Darfur. Do you happen to see a public figure who is dedicated to worldwide education? Angelina, with her love for children, is a natural as the spokesperson for worldwide education. Your view that one cause is more important than another cause just won’t hold water because in order for third world countries to become successful and productive they have got to improve in ALL areas, not just one. Yes, they need water, food and shelter. But they also need to learn how to protect themselves from deadly diseases. This requires that they be able to EDUCATE themselves. In order for them to provide for their families, food and shelter, they need to EDUCATE themselves to learn about agriculture and building. Their children need EDUCATION in order for them to be productive, thinking citizens. Africa is not as it used to be, with nomadic tribes, able to sustain themselves with the abundance that mother nature has to offer. Arid lands, greedy dictators and foreigners, warring factions, has altered the course of the continent. If they are to survive then they must RE-LEARN how to survive in this new world.

talkingtree…that was lovely!

medulla…no thats fine! i understand but i think that men wouldnt disagree with it, as they dont see there obsessions as a problem, more of a conquest! thats what makes it so easy. i will ask her but i think it is a classic remark from such an innocent person. like they say innocence knows no wrongs!glad i made you laugh!

African Girl @ 05/02/2006 at 3:55 pm

RudedogHey, what’s with you lately? You just drop by for a sec or two and disappear, not to be heard from again….wait a minute are you back with the Godiva Chick? Huh? Answer me! You know what, I think I’ve been to lenient…..I’ll be right back*Sharpening Knives*Say Rudedog, where did you say you worked again? I am in the mood for cutting…cutting from work I mean and just thought I should pay you a visit. So what do you say?

HEY #292 If people are not educated a country can not move foward. Let’s educate our African children it will do wonders in the future. It is so sad that in Africa there is no money for food or health care for the poor citizen eventhought USA gives money yearly to every nation in Africa but there is no welfare system because the money goes into the corupt leaders pockets of those countries. Until you know do not speak against AJ ’s effort to educate our children because I was one of those children , I got lucky, thanks to people like AJThey are other organization for different causes in Africa each one takles what ever is dear to them one person cannot do it all, ANGIE’s cause should applauded not ridiculed!

Well African girl, I must say that by the time I left chicago, the taste had become quite a pain in my butt. But you know the old adage "You never miss the water til’ the well runs dry" I sure do miss it. I miss Michigan Ave. Wriglry field, Navy Pier. We still have a condo in Lake Point. Don’t get there though. My mother still lives in Chicago..Northside. I have family all over from Skokie to the Wild Wild 100s, from Bellwood to Park Forest, Palatine, Villa Park. Man I miss home. I miss Gino’s Pizza, Dillenger’s, a True Italian beef dipped! Garret’s Popcorn (didn’t even mind the block long line to get it)Okay now I’m making myself homesick.

Lynn Campbell @ 05/02/2006 at 4:15 pm

#277 - melissaMelissa, wouldn’t it be great if Angelina won an academy award next year and thanked Brad on the podium? You know she would, too. I am going to keep my fingers crossed.

OK STEF glad to heard that word conquest!I am ready to log off so I wish you good nightand once again girl do not let Jen Chin chin go bla bla bla…bla bla bla in your dreams…..LOL

Good one to all BAMZ+1 fans,To ileah I understand your point, no food= no children,no children = no education. The conditions of the ppl. that I saw in the interview are better than the ones in Darfur, where ppl is dying of hunger, where she is giving help and trying to get more.I’m sure she is not only education that she is trying to get here, but food too. Yes, ppl. need to eat, they need food, but they need to learn wich food is good or bad, how to grow it, and if this ppl. learn how to do so, they can feed others and teach them as well.Que Viva La BAMZ+1!

medulla…i wont! take care.

African Girl @ 05/02/2006 at 4:27 pm

#292 / IleahWhat I am trying to say is this: All the things you mentioned are also being done. Just because Education has been in the news for the last couple of days…weeks….months, doesn’t mean it takes precedence over the rest. My sister is an MD and she’s been working with other African doctors on health issues for a while now. These doctors work with other doctors from other countries and so on. They’re quite happy with the progress they’re making, it may seem small to the outside world but they measure progress differently. All the different issues are being taken care of concurrently and AJ shouldn’t be criticised because she’s choosen to push education instead of something else. About five years ago, wasn’t it the Health Issue that made headlines? Next year or the year after, another Issue will take the spotlight…again this in no way means all the other issues have been left on the sidelines.

right people, i am going to log off myself too in a bit. the second season of Lost starts here tonight, so i wanna watch it. i bet you guys have had the whole season already.anyway, have a good rest of the afternoon now, its getting late so im going for a bath then chill watching lost.take care till next time.ROCK on BAMZ+1 love ya!

cain and african girl,Great posts! I felt Ileah is here to criticize Angie, and Angie alone. Why not pick on Bill Gate or George Clooney or Oprah or Bono or any other philanthropists? Why does she choose to criticize Angie?

To ileah, you said:"Feed them, give them clean water, healthy shelters free from disease and then bring in the schools and help them learn what to do and how to do it." I just wanted to point out that this is another of the many causes that AJ participates in. Just type in "angelina jolie millenium village" in a search engine and you will see the work that the UN is doing to achieve just that. “In the African nation of Malawi, families toil in fields as malaria, tuberculosis and other diseases go untreated. But hope is within reach: The Millennium Promise, a philanthropy run by Dr. Jeffrey Sachs and supported by Angelina Jolie, is working with 60 villages (so far) to make them healthily and self-sufficient through such simple tools as schools, seeds and clean drinking water. The Millennium Villages Project’s water and sanitation team, led by Upmanu Lall, intends to develop a science-based approach for providing these basic necessities. Although this area has seen several efforts to install water distribution infrastructure in the past, no group has taken responsibility for the maintenance of such systems. The proposed designs will use local resources in a cost-effective strategy for dramatically improving access to safe drinking water and sanitation.”

African Girl @ 05/02/2006 at 4:48 pm

XanOh man! No one makes Pizza…the deep dish Pizza like Chicago. Garret’s popcorn….I was there on Sat and we stood in line for almost 25mins. My poor cousin kept going "for Popcorn?" "just popcorn", until she tasted it and then she wanted to go back. Alright I’ll give you a reason not to feel too home sick. Construction on 94. Yep, it’s been reconstructed, remember how the Lake Shore drive by the Shedd Aqu was totally changed, that’s the case here. So you can imagine the traffic….it’s not fun I tell ya. Do you feel better now?

Guys let ileah be.You are not going to change her mind. that is why I didn’t go further. You learn to recognize an opinion that can not be changed. Though she is critisizing Angelina at least she is doing it respectfully. We are all entitled to our own opinions we just have to learn to be respectful of those we don’t agree with and I must admit in Pride, that you BAMZERS! definitely give respect even when its not due sometimes!GO BAMZ

Ugghh!!!If its not the Dan Ryan or Lake Shore it’s 67th or the 94th-95th street area. What’s funny is my dad use to design the reconstructions and he once told me that they needed to keep tearing up the streets inorder to get more money for the next year..that truly sucks! I shudder to think how long it takes to get over that way. Will it be done by Taste time? I hope so. I still miss it, nobody drives like Chicagoans!Wooohoooo!!!!!!!1

Press Man @ 05/02/2006 at 6:19 pm

Tuesday, May 02, 2006News Posted on Tue, May. 02, 2006′ER’ puts Darfur tragedy in dramatic spotlightLYNN ELBERAssociated PressLOS ANGELES -More often than not, television has looked away from the complex, searing reality of Darfur. The three network evening newscasts devoted less than a combined 10 minutes so far this year to the political and ethnic conflict that has killed at least 180,000 and driven 2 million more from their homes in the western Sudan province since 2003.On Thursday, an entertainment show will quadruple the broadcast news Darfur allotment.NBC’s "ER" puts Dr. Gregory Pratt (Mekhi Phifer) in the thick of the desperate situation with former colleague Dr. John Carter (Noah Wyle). The result is urgent drama aimed at jolting viewers into recognition of the immense suffering taking place. In one scene, a mother in a camp for the displaced asks Carter about her hepatitis-stricken child, among the many beset by hunger, disease and violence."She wants to know if her daughter will die today or tomorrow," an interpreter says, speaking for the mother. Carter hesitates but can’t deny the inevitability of her loss."Darfur is a glaring example of a situation in the world that people don’t know enough about, that they need to know more about and, hopefully, help start to find solutions," said "ER" executive producer David Zabel. The potential audience is big. The nightly newscasts on NBC, ABC and CBS attract roughly 7 million to 9 million viewers each while "ER," although no longer among TV’s top-rated series in its 12th season, averages more than 12 million viewers. The episode, "There are no Angels Here" (10 p.m. EDT), is airing during a burst of attention to the situation that U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan called "little short of hell on earth," with a deadline at hand for a peace accord between Sudan’s government and Darfur rebels. What’s helped news cameras swing toward the despairing African region is the magnetic force of celebrity. After a trip to Africa, actor-activist George Clooney ("Syriana" and formerly "ER") was welcomed on TV news outlets, including CNN and ABC, to discuss what he had seen.In Washington on Sunday, Clooney was among the celebrities who joined politicians, religious leaders and others to highlight the conflict and urge greater U.S. involvement. (President Bush gave his support to that and other weekend rallies, saying, "The genocide in Sudan is unacceptable.")The potentially awkward intersection of Hollywood glamour and tragedy, however, was made clear when NBC newswoman Ann Curry appeared on MSNBC to promote her interview with Angelina Jolie in Africa about the actress’ support of a worldwide education drive - and her pregnancy. After Curry also somberly touched on the agonies of Darfur, MSNBC anchorman Randy Meier switched gears."I want to jump to a little lighter side dealing with Angelina. … She looked great, by the way. … How does she feel about all this international attention on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie having the baby in Africa and all the ins and outs of that?" he asked. At least it’s a meaningful use of celebrity, said "ER" star Phifer."These are real issues. It’s a breath of fresh air to see something reported on Angelina Jolie besides her different way of raising kids, and her and Jennifer (Aniston) and all this other nonsense," he said. The NBC medical drama is not jumping on a cause celebre bandwagon. Work on the Darfur story, which was introduced in previous episodes and culminates Thursday, began eight months ago. It’s an extension of the show’s previous attention to Africa in an arc that brought Dr. Carter to Africa to fight AIDS.One of the groups that helped "ER" with the Darfur research used in writing the script, Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres), lauded the episode."There is so little space on regular network news for coverage of underreported humanitarian stories that it’s really great when a popular TV show like ‘ER’ can put resources into trying to show the challenges of a situation like we’re seeing in Darfur," said Kris Torgeson, spokeswoman for Doctors Without Borders.Coverage of Darfur has been dwindling: It was 18 minutes in 2005 and 26 minutes the year before, according to Andrew Tyndall, who publishes a weekly newsletter on the content of network newscasts.Torgeson suggested the "ER" episode could increase public awareness of Darfur and perhaps encourage viewers to "want to learn more, and perhaps do something about it."The financial commitment is impressive. The episode was filmed primarily in the South African desert and cost some $7 million - more than triple the usual cost for a one-hour drama. It’s the result of the clout "ER" chief John Wells has gained from the long-running show and the other NBC series he produced, "The West Wing" and "Third Watch."Wells "is very bold in the sense that sometimes we’ll do just what we think is the best way to use the platform that we have and not necessarily pander to what we think people want to see or what’s the most popular thing to do," said Zabel. That said, Zabel understands that viewers tune in for entertainment, not education."That’s why we tried to search for a way to find some hope and promise of a better future in a situation as desperate and sad as what’s happening in Darfur," he said.Among the characters in the episode: a young couple battered by the conflict but laying claim to the future with the baby she’s carrying."Hopefully, viewers find some uplift and inspiration in a story that’s very grave," Zabel said.ON THE NEThttp://www.nbc.comhttp://www.SaveDarfur.orgEDITOR’S NOTE - Lynn Elber is a national television columnist for The Associated Press. Rizos, I bet when the Subway Series comes aroung its fun at your house :). My boyfriend loves the Yankees but because we live in San Diego he don’t get to see they games as much unless it on ESPN

jacquelyn @ 05/02/2006 at 6:25 pm

Jennifer will be just fine. She’s got a lot going for her. Looks, class, and charm. Angelina has looks, and I suppose some charm, but withot class, all you have is trailor trash with charisma, about the same as a good hooker. Can’t respect a woman that rools around with a married man, and isn’t woman enough to stand up and say, yeah I did it.

Rizos, I am safe re: mom since my parents live in Turkey :)I am going to bring up something completely different. Talking about Chicago always reminds me of Oprah. Now mind you I have been ticked off at her since the pity parties and rather watch Ellen’s show lately, if I’m home early… BUT, I was watching the video of George Clooney on Oprah taped October 28 2005, which is about a month after the BP/JA divorce was final, she has a very, very funny clip of BP and GC. So, maybe I was too harsh to judge her and believe all the rumors and crap. BTW- if you havent seen the video, it is at bradfans.net site/video/misc (that is not a direct link)…

Rizos No hard feelings sweetie. You are in the circle of Life. It’s all in the heart…… and Love for BAMZ across the globe!! Roots Family…… Africa …..Zaharah Marley Ethiopian Sister! Maddox brother of the earth and Little Boddhisattva.God Bless Angelina & Brad. Jah is on their side and that’s all that is most important to moi.

Yes, because talking to vanity fair about ur marriage, throwing a year long pity party, and then telling her fans that they make her skin crawl is class.

not to mention dry humping ur boyfriend on a balconey with a clear view……. yup that is class

Press Man, thank you, I just saw a report on the NYPost about that. It said U.S. is sending some guy to Darfur. To AlexandrinaOh boy, he is waiting for another Subway World Series, he didn’t speak to me for a while because I was making fun of him, when the Mets lost. That night was the first time I celebrate in silence, holding me screams of joy because of him. He lost a bet , and a good one too. Tell your boyfriend to get XM radio, they have all the MLB games. Anyway, Mets have my country men playing there, I guess that’s why they are good.Good luck this year :).

Alexanderina @ 05/02/2006 at 6:35 pm

#324 Press Man - At least it’s a meaningful use of celebrity, said "ER" star Phifer."These are real issues. It’s a breath of fresh air to see something reported on Angelina Jolie besides her different way of raising kids, and her and Jennifer (Aniston) and all this other nonsense," he said.I concur with that statement. Thanks Press Man, good article

!!!!!!!!!! @ 05/02/2006 at 6:39 pm

Yes, because smoking, boozing, gambling and frolicking on top of a balcony with your boyfriend and lying about having a boyfriend is class.

# 326 | jacquelyn |Jennifer will be just fine. She’s got a lot going for her. Looks, class, and charm. Are you serious? No way………………..Jennifer Aniston = zero class. She’s not Nicole Kidman.

!!!!!!!!!! @ 05/02/2006 at 6:44 pm

!!!!!!! To ????High Five!

# 334 | yyy |I absolutely agree! Whining is not CLASS!

???? to!!!!- right back at u!

# 326 | jacquelyn |Why are you JA fans so possessed with the affair accusations? How do you know except by your own projections? JA said it wasn’t so. Courtney Cox said it wasn”t so. Brad said it wasn’t so. The people on MAMAs set it wasn’t so. So where is your proof? You all go on and on and on like a broken record. These are personal issues you have to deal with in your own heart…stop taking them out on a movie star. Get help.

Alexanderina @ 05/02/2006 at 6:52 pm

Rizos, thanks and Good Luck to you as well. I do have to say some of the Mets Players are cute

# 148 | AJ IS A LOONEY "Why do people have to continuously make up krap to commend her? " I suppose the thought that they ARE NOT making things up about her never entered your mind? Might want to ask yourself that one. And then you say"She’s a hard worker and I grant her that, but who knows." HUH? Do I have this right? People make up things about her, but she’s a hard worker? and then"She’s got it easy in life, so I wouldn’t put it past the fact that it’s extremely easy for her to get by on her UN work while being a movie actress and globe trotting pregnant." Yes, she has the ABILITY to have it easy in life. Have you ever seen any of the specials about her work? She’s in there, working just like all the other aid workers. Read some of the comments from people in the field - she’s not pulling any fancy Hollywood stuff out there. What does being an actress have to do with anything? It’s her JOB! Yes, it pays well, and she gives 1/3 of it to worthy causes. Not sure what your point is about her job or how she is spending her pregnancy. Do you have one? and then"And she’s too grotesquely skinny still during her pregnancy! " Again - HUH? You are mad at her because she doesn’t look like Britney Spears? She is one of those lucky people who is blessed with a fast metabolism. She is probably one of those people who have a hard time sitting still. Once again, you make no sense. and finally"There’s something about you I don’t like and I’m going to stick by it. The fact that people have to go out of their way to describe your little achievements (yes, little, because i know many, many people who have done quite so much more)" So I’m guessing you have projected something - a personality trait, a fast metabolism, whatever - on Angelina that you don’t like. Why do we need this information? May I ask? Who are these people YOU know who have done "so much more"? We had people coming here yesterday saying Angelina was just copying George Clooney, when HE gave HER credit for his interest. So many of the current crop of starlettes are giving her credit for THEIR interest [Lohan, Simpson, etc].I’ve got to tell you, my mental image of you is not the nicest. I’m just [as usual] curious as to why you felt the need to come and post this bullshit. I don’t think you included a single fact. Come back if you gain some sensibility - otherwise, please, we just don’t care enough to read your "opinions"

Passing Thought @ 05/02/2006 at 8:05 pm

I’ve read all the post on education and it seems very strange to me that no one has mentioned the pleasure of becoming an educated person. The beauty is adds to life, to be able to get caught up in the world of thought - this becoming educated is.Just wanted to share this quote from a great African Leader"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Nelson Mandela.

Hi Moi Jade! @ 05/02/2006 at 8:10 pm

From: Miss Bee Haven ‘06Moi Jade - are you Rastafarian? Just curious. I am loving your whole Bob Marley vibe and knowledge. Bob Marley is so important to me. I feel God through him.I love that Zahara was named after him. Angelina is truly a soulful white sister. We are all sisters and brothers. Love it!

just want to add…i recall back reading Plato’s Republic, in it, (paraphrasing) he says that KNOWLEDGE is forever, that no1 can take your knowledge away even if you have passed away. So indeed, knowledge is power.
