#150 Lynn, I would not be surprise if they are doing it to boost the movie. that’s free publicity. Geez it worked with Mr & Mrs Smith why not that friggin movie! I also heard she contemplating adoption? Sign of desperation-I think so! Well, do not count my money to watch that movie. Too bad I enjoy watching Vince.
To #148I would consider your arguments as valid, if it didn’t have the stench of sour grapes all over it. You might as well be stamping your feet like a toddler screaming it’s not fair , it’s not fair!I cannot stand celebrities that are so obviously needy ,to be adored by the rest of the world because they are so insecure ,due usually to dodgy childhoodsSome celebrities have actual talent and give something back, in the way of entertainment , and I don’t mind thoseAngie by her own admission had a priviledged upbringing, with some sadness in a broken home. Millions of people suffer worse in their upbringing. She was a wild child, for attention more than likely. I think the whole BBT thing was a freudian-need-for -a-father-figure thingI believe, when she got Maddox and worked in Cambodia on Beyond Borders, it was a critical juncture in her life. She dropped BBT, got unconditional love from her kid, and saw first hand the suffering of others just because they are born in a certain place and time. I believe her actions ever since this time, proves she’s changed for the better on the insideBefore Brad, people were grudgingly accepting of the fact that she genuinely was well read on the Refugees needs and campaigns. Before Brad peolple accepted she loved her child, and he was her priority, and that she was healthier mentally, not doing mad red carpet antics. She was seen as classy, and more mature. Infact her emphasis on the world UN stage was going better than her movie career, esp when Alexander bombed at the box officeThen Brad happened. And more importantly Jen, distraught, bitter and alone went on numerous high profile chat shows and did personal in depth magazine interviews, to further her movie career primarily, and to turn people against Brad and Ange. I felt the W mag shoot was insensitive at the time, too. However Jen went wrong somewhere, media adoration is fickle, unless you give the public something back, with real talent showing through. Jen has not done that when public sympathy was at it’s height, but because she did not take the high road like Nicole K, she is going to suffer the hugest of backlashes now, and her fans are going down too, taking their sour grapes with them, like you #148I feel sorry for you and her. But don’t disparage AJ’s causes or her love for her family, cos I think it’s genuine. Instead hope JA can salvage her dignity
# 150 | Lynn Campbell | May 2, 2006 08:25 AMI think so too. Maybe the pity party backlash and the loss of interest in her (have you heard anything about her-who-shall-not-be-named lately?). She’s not even mentioned in the tabs anymore (now it’s Denise-Richie-Heather-Charlie, much more juicier than JA-VV). So how else to reignite interest in her and promote the movie which is coming out next month? Engagement and adoption!!! I hope for all our sakes the movie’s a hit (it’s coming out by June 2, after MI-3, Da Vinci Code and X3 have already been released) so JA will be happy and not have to drag BP/AJ’s name in her interviews anymore. I hope she does get married to VV so we all move on! It’s kind of funny though that she apes whatever BP/AJ have done — hook-up, shack-up, adoption. She’s only doing the wedding thing to on-up them.
#148 Yes you are the looney one, now go away!!!!!!!!!And join Maniston while she smokes a pack of cigarettes and shout at the ocean, she doesn’t know what charity is, she so self absorbed getting tans at salons, gambling at casinos, no time to have a baby ,you see that’s why you are here, you are hurt because she let a good man get away due to her selfishness. So you see looney, do not blame ANGIE or us for that matter go join your Idol Jen Jen as she shout at the ocean as we prepare for the bitrh of our precious little bundle of joy.OUCH!
i thought sierra was a good suggestion because its not too out there but still unique and has links to africa. kiara is also an african name which is nice as well. just my thoughts…
148 | AJ IS A LOONEYRead what you wrote yourself:"They are commending her because of her friggin beauty." "She’s got it easy in life, ""There’s something about you I don’t like"You are commenting on her looks, beauty, then "something I don’t like". Do you see that you are so jealous, and your jealousy is poisoning you so much you are denying your own human empathy towards others? Watch out, you are heading towards a Looner Bin yourself.
Whatever these detractors say about our idol Angie. We do not care. All that matters are our adoration for her. To H#LL with the haters!

AJ is a LooneyYou think because the baby might have been a surprise, AJ doesn’t love her…..that’s too funny. I have to ask, is there a school "Perfecting the art of Irrational thinking?" How do these people come up things like these? Little Achievement is better than no Achievement….you silly, silly child.
For a girl, I like Kanya Aaliyah which translates to Daughter of the Goddess, Highest Most Exalted One and..For a boy either Jophiel or Zadkiel which translates to Beauty of God or Strenght of God
JEN’S FANS LISTEN * Vince and Jen are engaged*Are you happy for her? I’m bamz+1 fans SO HAPPY for her! So…JA’s fans please please please MOVE ON!
For a girls name anything that sounds or has a ring like Angelina is perfect. It’s very melodic & beautiful from any language saying it. It rolls of the tongue. I can’t stant any name with hard letters like "K" a hard "C" like AfriCa hard "G" like the German BriGitta. UGH! LOL!!Zahara is a form of Sahara. She’s named after the infamous dessert Maddox is a British ,old English name. She was a resident of London when she became his mother.

That was really articulate. I love how BAMZ+1 fans are so amazing!Anyway, it looks like Vaughniston is engaged, so these sad JA fans will have to move onYou can tell they are gutted not to have Brad anymore, and the Golden Couple - oh well tubby Vince from Chicago is yours now - enjoy
# 148 | AJ IS A LOONEY Seriously, you should watch the interview and you will change your mind. Please open up !Why so much hate, it’s not healthy!

Posted on Tue, May. 02, 2006Media stalkingNot even celebrities deserve it In the first place: if I never see another stupid, cutesy shorthand (i.e., Billary, TomKat and Bennifers I and II) applied to another celebrity couple, I will light candles of thanksgiving. In the second place: Namibia? As you know unless you, well, have a life, that south African nation is where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — Brangelina to the cognoscenti — have ensconced themselves with their two young children while they await the birth of their baby. They’ve been followed by a phalanx of photographers eager to get shots of them and — the holy grail — the aforementioned baby. But it seems the paparazzi are not getting along well with the couple’s bodyguards, variously described as “thugs” and “goons” in press reports. Apparently, the photographers have been such a nuisance that Pitt and Jolie had to issue a statement pleading for privacy. This prompted Namibia’s prime minister, obviously kept insufficiently busy by affairs of state, to ask that the two be left alone. At least four photographers have reportedly been given a choice between departing the country and spending time in one of its fine penal institutions. But the camera crews soldier determinedly on, even following the family to the local KFC because, you know, inquiring minds want to know what they had for lunch. One imagines some loser with a Nikon staking out a chicken joint and phoning in urgent bulletins by satellite phone. (“It looks like … yes! Brad’s going with the hot and spicy, and we have now confirmed Angelina ordered the extra crispy.”)I have trouble figuring out what I think about all this. Part of me thinks it’s hysterical. Part of me thinks it’s pathetic. Part of me thinks it’s hysterically pathetic. And part of me simply remembers how it felt, nine years ago in August, to see that awful news bulletin. A car carrying Princess Diana and her boyfriend, Dodi al-Fayed, had raced into a tunnel in Paris, reportedly trying to elude paparazzi. The car, piloted by a drunken driver, never emerged.Maybe you remember how it felt, too, that sickening, sobering crunch of reality and frivolity colliding, lives of gossip, glamour and gossamer brought to an end in a cry of brakes and a cruelty of asphalt. Angry celebrities like George Clooney and Rosie O’Donnell used the tragedy to point out that it’s no fun being camera stalked and that although fame means many things, it should not mean surrender of one’s right to use the toilet unmolested by inquiring minds. There followed much hand-wringing and soul searching from editors who bought invasive pictures and readers who bought magazines such pictures appeared in. Out of this came vows to turn away from the practice and support of intrusion journalism.Nine years later, there’s a stakeout at a KFC in Namibia. (“Code Red! Angelina has changed her order! Do you copy?”)A man asked me the other night why media are like this. Why, with mass murder in Sudan, an insurgency in Iraq, the national debt scaling nosebleed heights, they spend so much time, talent and treasure on ephemera.I told him media are like this because the people are, because this is what people want, what matters most to them. They are less interested in the news that affects them, the news that determines how and sometimes whether they live.Yes, the entertainment industry is an influential multibillion-dollar concern. And yes, too, gossip is eternal. But don’t you sometimes get the sense that we have become conspirators in our own distraction, eagerly ingesting a media opiate that discourages too much thinking, too much digging, too much asking? It’s a sign of how distorted are our priorities, how shallow our concerns, that two actors have to flee to Africa to have their baby in peace. And that they can’t do so, even then.© 2006 The Miami HeraldLeonard Pitts Jr. is a columnist for the Miami Herald. I too am a firm believer in education, but there are more important issues in the third world countries right now then classrooms. How can you educate a people to harvest their own food and ward off aids if they are starving and dont have adequate shelter? These people dont have clean drinking water nor do they have the necessary diets to keep them strong and healthy. They are contracting aids because there is no protection for them. Shouldnt attention be turned to providing them with the necessities of life before decorating classrooms? Shouldnt they be made into a strong and healthy people before they can learn to read and write? I am one of the few who donate a fair amount of money to the third world countries every month, I hope that my dollars give someone clean water and food and hopefully shelter instead of paper and crayons. If the whole is healthy they would be able to do more for their communities. I sincerely hope that my money is going to purify water and give them food and educate them on the use and necessity of condoms, and only then build the schools and give them the education and the educators they need to help themselves. But only after we help make them a healthy and strong nation. Just my thoughts and my hopes. But of course someone will reply to shut my mouth and mind my business and go to ja site because im not agreeing with your beloved Angelina.
"Miss Jolie, who with her husband and adopted children has rented the entire Burning Shore luxury beach resort to experience the realities of African life, was equally effusive…" This is 100% embarrassing for all concerned
# 153 | melissa | May 2, 2006 08:43 AMAgree with you, I think these rumor of adoption and engagement are another gimmick setup by JA cronies, remember it’s already May, her movie is coming out on June 2. It’s just like the 8 M$ supposed wedding which coincide with the film FWM, She and Huvane knew the pity party is not working anymore. but I really which She and Vince get engage ASAP. and stop mentioning her ex in every interview.
