Katie's Holmes' First Appearance Back
Los Angeles, CA :: Tom Cruise, 43, allowed fiancée Katie Holmes, 27, out of the house to attend the Mission Impossible 3 premiere in Hollywood last night. The couple had the crowd going crazy at the star-studded event held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. This marks Katie’s first public appearance since giving birth to the couple’s daughter Suri (born April 18). No picture has been published of baby Suri Cruise yet, but there are rumors that Tom may sell photos for up to $1 million to OK! Magazine — and donate the money to charity. Is anyone feelin’ Katie’s outfit? You gotta admit she stills looks good though. As does Tom. Many more pictures in the gallery!

Katie looks sad! It breaks my heart to see her this way. She was always so bubbly and Tom has sucked all the life out of her. She looks beautiful but that dress is ugly.

Sorry about that.. Now here’s some of my 2 cent observations: Kate looks like she’s not feeling well. She could very well still be in pain. Sometimes the pelvic bone is bruised during birth. Her bruise from her IV is still visible on her right hand. Her face does look different, because she has a new hair style… and I’m sure she did have a stylist do her hair and makeup. I think the makeup looks great, as does her hair. As for the dress, the girl is nursing! AND, she is not as mobile as she was RIGHT up until the birth. She very well may be swollen, and I’m telling you she looks like a new mom still in considerable discomfort. God forbid she may need something for the pain ( and possibly PPD) but since she’s nursing and Tom doesn’t believe in modern medicine(for the most part) the gal is probably toughing it out. Poor thing. Also, the notion that she never had a baby is utterly ABSURD! I am NO fan of TC, wouldn’t pay a penny to his Cruise/Wagner Co. BUT, He has not put her on a weight loss regimen. They are planning a wedding for the summer and she has consulted with Buff Brides to get her body toned up for her wedding dress. Who wouldn’t want to do that, never mind that every eye on the planet is on you… Listen, Yes she is gettin big bucks, but I really believe that KH has gotten into something that she could NEVER have predicted. I have no respect for TC, but I sincerely hope the best for Suri. Maybe KH’s family will be able to possitively influence her. Maybe….

Are people still on this she’s not pregnant, nonsense? You dont get those classic ‘baby weight" by eating a few burgers! And maybe she looks bigger because instead of staring at her big belly you’re finally seeing all of her.In some of the pictures if you look closely you can even see her frigging nursing pads on her breasts. The girl was pregnant, get over it and find something else to @#$% about.And show some restraint , lets see how you look less then 3 weeks after gaving birth and in front of thousands of people and cameras. She looks better then most.
Whatever the case with KH.. the BABY was not made the conventional way. TC career was going south and he was falling from the spot light. His last few movies did not do as well as they should have!! TC needed some type of media blitz… why not get a B actress…start dating…1 week later get engaged…1 week later knock her up.. o.k not one week but you get my point. He slammed this down our throats people. 10 years with NK and no "real" baby???? Please. NK knew he was GAY and signed on to promote her career. They adopted because she ,most likley had a brain, and thought that was just wrong, and CREEPY, to have a baby with a GAY guy so they adopted….saving two children instead!!! Too many people believe EVERYTHING they read in the tabloids. All of the gossip is started and spread in an effort to sell magazines!!She looks like she just had a baby!!! Her eyes look "funny" because she is exhausted form lack of sleep!!! When you breastfeed, you have to feed every 2-3 hours, regardless of if you are tired or not!!!

To Chris #55:Hi, I really think you misunderstood my post. I never said that TC was a bad actor, far from it. I’ve seen the guy "Born on the fourth of July" and I still don’t get why it didn’t win the Oscar for that role. In Magnolia, I think he was amazing. But, I was actually talking about the RECENT past.After the couch jumping, the crazy talk about Scientology, all the PDA with KH, the Today Show interview and all the strange behaviors, I just can’t see him as a serious actor, I will (PROBABLY) always think to those weird moments. But, as I said, he once knew how to really really act and I’m pretty sure he can prove me wrong. #66 The shooooeesss.Yep, as I have stated earlier -post 33. The shoes are really hideous. Reminds me of what grandmas wear. If her feet are still swollen, she could have gottens some black open toe sandals. There are cute 1inch slip-ons, and others. They have money and they have friends that could have at least help her in this event. As a woman, we have a standard that we are the shoe fanatic of the sexes. You don’t have to be wealthy to find the right shoes for an outfit. Yeah, I am beating a dead horse here, but everytime I see this picture, I cringed. :[
I think he’s weird and everything but hearing him talk so calmly and lovingly on the View about Katie (he actually did call her Katie on Regis and Kelly the other morning) made me think it would be nice to have a guy that much in love with you. I know I’ll get ripped over this comment - but he really did seem sweet and heartfelt talking about her and the baby and not all weird and creepy like he normally does. Kelly made a comment that he seemed like the type of guy that if someone was his girlfriend and she wanted to learn how to scuba dive he’d buy an entire ocean just for her to learn. He agreed that yes - he would if he could. I thought that was cute.
