It may have been dishonest to "volunteer" to the world that "I WILL have children" when quite possibly she’s unsure if that’s something she truly wants, but at the same time, it would have been PR suicide don’t you think if she’d conveyed that kids weren’t a priority at that moment, possibly never and especially when the world knew BP had been dying to be a dad to the point of suggesting adoption? She would have never come out from under that one, but now I think she could say it/should say it and be done with it. I think all who know her personally are privy to what I think is fact which is she’s not much interested in parenthood. I think you can pick it up in their "thou dost protest too much" responses when the subject arises, and the defensiveness that IMO you’d have to be blind deaf and mute not to pick up on. I think she’d be happier by she’d take the pressure off herself, and those who defend something that shouldn’t have to be defended by just saying "it’s not something I want." JMHO jpf

The older she gets the more complications there can be with a pregnancy. On top of which she smokes like a chimney. If she was serious about having kids she’d have brought it up early on in the relationship. Added to that, VV is 36 himself. If he wanted kids you’d think at this point in his life he’d know that. Considering that the mention of the lack of progeny for X & BP was always in the news there’s no way he could’ve missed her claims that she wanted them and wanted them soon. To my mind all of this just underscores what a lying wench X has been these past 5 years. She wants kids about like I want George W. Bush to serve a third term.

# 279 | anon Anon, I’ve always viewed the numbers of those Team t-shirts to be totally useless. For the most part you’re talking about 2 different types of actresses - a movie star and a tv actress. A TV actress on a hugely popular WEEKLY show than ran 10 years is going to have a much younger audience than a movie actress who may put out 2 movies a year and not do mainstream movies. Aside from M&MS I wouldn’t call any of AJ’s movies mainstream. As a tv star JA’s fans are more likely to buy a t-shirt with her name/face on it to show their support. That’s what TV does…it turns you into merchandise. As such your fans are treat you like merchandise. They see it as buying "Rachel’s t-shirt". Secondly, I think the merchandising of movie stars is mainly predicated on their movies. If AJ had been in a megahit like a "Star Wars", I bet the Team Jolie shirts would’ve sold equally well. However, people don’t tend to support their favorite movies stars in the same way they do tv stars. I like Hugh Jackman a lot…but I don’t have any t-shirts with Hugh in or out of his Wolverine gear. But, back in the day…yeah, I had my share of t-shirts with tv-stars and movie slogans on them. Who didn’t. I also don’t think that Jolie fans felt the need to plaster our support on our chests. It didn’t mean that we supported AJ any less. My personal philosphy was that all buying one of those t-shirts would do is make someone rich. And that’s exactly what happened. The person started selling key chains, coffee mugs and all kinds of other crap. Merchandising at it’s worst and one very happy entrepreneur.

Critics of AJ’s humanitarians are just exposing their ignorance.Bet all they read are tabloids.No matter how many respected mags, or media releases feature JOlie’s work with UN will not convince them of Jolie’s love and care ffor the needy. And now here comes G. Clooney, who made a single trip -one trip- to Sudan becomes their poster boy for humanity. If they are so much informed about current events like they know all of Jolie’s motives - Have they even entertainedthe thought there maybe a political agenda behind the Clooneys( george/dad). His father lost in his bid for a political office in Kentucky.Simple math!!.Still I applaud them for the sake of those helpless people in Africa.Worth mentioning also that AJ was already pushing for DARFUR solution in January at DAVOS.
