I heard Pitt is actually acting in this and does a fairly good job of it. I think his looks are entirely overrated. He looked good when he was married to Aniston, and now he looks like ****, in my opinion. He needs to hone his acting ability now that his looks are fading.

This movie is going to be great I seriously don’t want to wait till October! Amores Perros and 21 Grams were excellent. I hope this earns Gael, Cate, and Brad some oscar noms.

His prime is now, and the fact that he is given the chance in meaty roles is a testament to the fact that his previous work put him on the A-list according to producers and he can reap the rewards now if he has it in him.Personally, I think he does. He has shown in movies like Spy Game and Interview with the Vampire that he can be soulful and express emotions in a closeup, as well as carry the physical presence of a leading man. Thrill of the chaseCNN documentary looks at paparazzi’s obsession with Angelina JolieProducer Bud Bultman has figured out what drives the paparazzi. "It’s the big money, that’s for sure, but it also is the thrill of the chase," said Bultman, one of the people behind the CNN documentary Chasing Angelina - Paparazzi and Celebrity Obsession, which airs tomorrow at 6 p.m. (repeating at 9 p.m., and also on Sunday) on Cable 27. One of the most striking elements of the show is Bultman’s "ride-along" with a paparazzi photographer who is on the trail of Angelina Jolie running an errand in the Los Angeles area. "It’s almost like watching a cop show," Bultman said. "These guys are real detectives. "Your blood gets thumping. He’s co-ordinating with two other paparazzi and they basically are trying to corner prey. And the scene when they finally have her cornered in the parking lot, you get the feeling that you’re going to bag the big one. "Yeah, you get into it, to be honest with you. Not only are they getting the shot they need, but I’m getting the shot I need for the documentary. I couldn’t have scripted it any better." For those who don’t know this (and that included me prior to last week), the word "paparazzi" comes from a movie character. There was a crazed photographer named Paparazzo in the 1960 film La Dolce Vita by Federico Felini. Chasing Angelina does not focus exclusively on the paparazzi. Rather, it looks at various people who do a wide variety of jobs - stars, publicists, publishers, media, etc. - in the celebrity manufacturing industry. Still, the paparazzi obviously are on the front lines, both literally and from an ethical point of view. "People are really interested in seeing celebrities without their makeup, walking out of Starbucks," Bultman said. "They can identify with them, for some reason. It’s like, ‘Oh, they’re not so different from me.’ "It’s not an obsession that I have in that way. But I have to admit, it was kind of interesting to see Angelina Jolie running an errand. I’m not sure why that is." Anyone trying to be cool claims they’re sick of celebrity worship, but the evidence to the contrary gets stronger every day. "Everybody calls the paparazzi sleazebags and scum, but the people doing the criticizing are the same people who buy the magazines," Bultman said. "And the proliferation of celebrity weeklies adds to the frenzy. Ten years ago, People was about the only show in town. Now you have all sorts of them. "The mainstream media certainly is more obsessed with this stuff. The New York Times does stories on Brad (Pitt) and Angelina. And because the electronic media is 24-7 now, it has grown exponentially. It’s getting pretty ruthless." That ruthlessness sometimes leads to confrontations, or traffic accidents, or worse. Starlets like Lindsay Lohan and Scarlett Johansson have blamed fender-benders on aggressive photographers who were in pursuit. And then there’s the case of Diana, Princess of Wales, who was killed on a night when her admittedly intoxicated chauffeur was trying to ditch the paparazzi. So how much celebrity fascination is too much? "That’s a good question," Bultman said. "As an objective journalist, it’s hard for me to say one way or the other. "We ask people, has it peaked? Twenty years from now, are we still going to be this obsessed? Absolutely everybody says it’s not going away." The red carpet is ALL you ever saw them doing. No stories about working at the soup kitchen one day a week or tending sick kids at local hospitals, etc….charitable works. All you tended to get was pictures of them on vacation or the red carpet looking tanned and toned and vapid. People certainly never thought that BP had much of a brain or that he was using what brains he had wisely. And frankly I don’t think people expected anything out of X other than what she presented to the public. Unfortunately what she’s showing the public IS all there is to her. And that’s really pathetic. So what you will about AJ…but what you see physically is NOT all there is to her.

How wouldn’t he understand her, her imperfection and her determination to be successful on her own? He’s an actor himself, I think he understands that issue very well. He’d accompanied Jennifer to those award shows in which her or her show getting nominated or other events/ premieres and Jennifer’d done the same for him as well. He accepted being a guest star on Friends for her. And someone mentioned that Plan B was initially established for finding good roles for Jennifer. With Angie, he’s done what Angie’s previous men not being so interested, he accompanied her to do various countries, doing the charity stuff. Angie herself mentioned in her interview that she was glad she could talk to someone (him) who cared. Brangelina haters and some fans accuse him of morphing into her or starts to show some substances after meeting her, likes the first forty years of his life and his previous relationships were meaningless. Some Angie fans even accused him of trying to steal Angie’s thunder. I found it really insulting. And what about being so against walking the red carpet? Angie’d done it herself many times because it’s part of her job, probably in the contracts. I’ve found this commentary on the Defamer site that is foretelling bad omens even of the fixed-up BreakUp ending. Vince and X should just throw in the towel and lose the charade of still dating just for the movie. So I read on Defamer that test audiences hated the end of the movie because Jen and Vince don’t stay together…but I saw a test screening of it last night at Universal (yeah, I was recruited at AMC in Burbank), and at the panel afterwards, pretty much everyone HATED the new ending they tacked on to make it seem like they got back together…and I mean hated it.Defamer

The problem that I have with the red carpet personas that BP/JA projected is that, especially for X supporters, that’s ALL they see…the superficial. But, they come to the BAMZ threads in droves to tell us how bad BP looks now with AJ and how golden he was with X. WTF does it matter how he LOOKS if the man wasn’t HAPPY? That’s the bottom line. They think all the problems in that marriage started and ended with AJ and refuse to acknowledge the serious problems that existed in the marriage for 2 years prior to AJ working with BP on M&MS. If you point that out to them, then their entire rebuttal will be about how bad BP looks now compared to then. The guy cleans up nicely, but they won’t admit that either. As far as the charity issue, the fact is this…if X is involved in some kind of charitable endeavor, then she’s hiding it like it’s one of the seven deadly sins. Most celebs use their celebrity to further their causes. X has never done this and you have to ask yourself why? Are there no mysteries to this woman? Is everything in her life really about HER? And if so, then it’s no wonder her marriage failed. There comes a point in your life where you look around and see the world isn’t all about you and apparently BP’s was at that place BEFORE he met AJ and working with her illustrated to him how much better his life could be if he opened himself up to helping others. From what I can gather it’s something that he discussed with X and she pretty much blew him off. It wasn’t glamorous enough and it did nothing to further her career, plus she’d have to leave home to do it, so why bother? You asked what’s wrong with her wanting a successful career. Well, nothing’s wrong with it. But don’t spend 7 years with a man knowing he wants children and continually put him off and expect him to wait forever for you to be ready. He gave her the time and space she wanted for 7 years, even approached her about adopting and the one time he asks something in return she says, "What about my career?" That bull. If you love someone and you’re committed to making the relationship work, then you compromise. As an outside observer, to me, it looks like HE did all the compromising and let her have her way. When he thinks they’ve reached an agreement to start a family she goes behind his back and signs up for 3 movies in addition to the 3 she’s already got on her plate? Where’s the compromise in her? I don’t see it. And having said that about X/BP, I certainly hope that AJ doesn’t follow that same pattern of behavior because admittedly she is stubbornly independent, but her issues are a whole other topic.As for the tanning thing…well, come on. Personally. I never liked her. But when she hooked up with Brad I was completely fascinated by them both and I think their union is the most exciting thing to come out of Hollywood in a LONG TIME. But I thought that if he hooked up with her then she must have turned a corner and was no longer the total nut job that she was, and even though she’s been more dignified (the dateline interview notwithstanding), she’s still a little nuts and IMHO very selfish. It has never sat right with me that she high-tailed it out of the US and completely shut out his family (and hers too, for that matter) from experiencing this pregnancy with her. If she cared at all in getting to know the Pitt family and becoming a part of their family, then this is an odd way to do that. If Jane Pitt is still in regular contact with Jennifer, then Angelina is partly to blame. If Jane doesn’t care for Angelina, then who could blame her? Brad is her oldest child and the last to have kids and it’s a momentous thing in a family for your oldest son to have children and since they are so close, I think they always assumed they’d be a part of this. This must be terribly disappointing for them.If Brad and Angelina break up, her life will go on as it was and as I think—deep down—she prefers it: totally independent and beholden to no one but her kids. She’ll re-acquire her lovahs and Shimizu will again meet her in the jungles of Cambodia and she’ll be ok. Brad will have to deal with the fact that his kids are in the jungles of Cambodia with Shimizu and will go in the record books as the children who have seen the inside of most of the airports in the world and he’ll have to go chasing them all over the world just to spend time with them. Their time spent in Europe after Davos was probably HIS idea since he’s been heard said in the past that he likes France in the winter. Brad likes to travel as much as Angelina. What they probably didn’t expect is that the PAPs would make their stay unbearable there as it was in the US. Africa was probably her idea as she has many ties there due to her humanitarian work. I’m not gonna try dissuade you of your opinion of Angelina since you hold it very close to your heart. But I will say that Brad has never and probably will never live in his family’s pocket. The most important family unit is the one he has right there in Africa.
