OlderBabel Movie
When Babel, the latest offering from Alejandro González Iñárritu, premieres at the Cannes Film Festival this month, it will be a remarkable moment for Mexican cinema. Before 2000, when the director’s debut, Amores Perros, took Cannes by storm, Mexican films were rarely seen by international audiences. This year, one of Babel ’s main competitors for the Palme d’Or will be Pan’s Labyrinth, by González Iñárritu’s compatriot Guillermo del Toro. That two Mexican films are competing for the most prestigious prize in world cinema is a measure of how far the Mexican industry has come in the past six years.
New Babel stills! Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu’s drama Babel, starring Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett and Gael Garcia Bernal, is currently scheduled to show at Cannes on Tuesday, May 23 and open in limited release on Friday, October 6. Nothing to say really, it’s all the same wishing all well-hey AG, Estelle, Guli, Juno, Original jpf, Cindy2, Gitane, Rudedog, Moi Jade, BAMAz fan and everyone else, it’s a long, long wait, but I think Baby will be here for 1-2 weeks before they actually tell us baby is here. Anyway, I saw Vince Vaughn on Oprah and I thought he looked well(except for those huge bags)he was nice and funny and entertaining. I think he’s great guyu-probably won’t last with Anniston though-she and Tom Cruise would’ve been absolutely great together, anyway, gotta go work on the screenplay thingy-take care
# 177 | Passing Throughthat’s just how hollywood works. zellwegger puts on a truly atrocious accent and wins an oscar. cate channels katherine hepburn and gets looked over–again. that’s why i hate award show season. it’s all bogus. the only thing i like seeing is the red carpet. after that, i read the results in the newspaper next day. i’m really hoping that some day we’ll see bamz on the red looking gorgeous and happy and together.

I’m excited yet scared at the same time if this is going to be true. Are you sure it was from Extra? I’m tired enough that I may have missed it, but I just tend to doubt that 1. Brad is in France now or 2. that he will attend Cannes. He’s been waiting for this baby for the past 7 years at least. We all know babies come when THEY want to, not when they are "penciled in to come". lol
Cate Blanchett did win the Oscar for "Aviator"; Renee Z. won for "Cold Mountain" the year before that.

I miss seeing BRADLEY on the BIG screen. I can’t wait to see this one….so intense. I wonder what the tragic event was….In the scene with Cate B - she is clearly upset and want sto argue but Brad doesn’t really argue. He is just so calm and peaceful and never looses control. So I am intrigued to find out this tragic event…. I think he killed her - by mistake, if there is a such thing….Brothers and Sisters, I would like to quote a few chapters from the divine and righteous book of BAMZ+1:Do not drive yourself crazy by arguing with those who dont want the truth, for they are clearly insane….The Book of the First Conception, Chapter 1.(LOL) The truth will come in the night, preferably the second week in June… from the same book but it’s the start of Chapter 2.(ROTFLMAO)

Forget about Brad Pitt! Gael Garcia Bernal - now that is one hot beautiful man!!! Can’t wait to see this movie. Just saw The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (same director I think). It was a great movie.

SO I HOPE "BABEL" WILL BE INCLUDED & ME & MY FRIENDS WILL BE ABLE TO SEE BRAD IN THE RED CARPET & MAYBE WITH ANGELINA. Im just thinking-Remember the recently reported rumor that Angie and Brad were back in Paris and that Angie had been in the hospital in Paris for a checkup? Maybe they are all back in Paris. The Sun is also reporting that BP and AJ are arranging for a sale of Namibian crafts to be held in Paris in September. Who really knows where they are? No pictures since April 29th, though I read somewhere that they met with the wife of the Namibian president and her daughter on May 4th (daughter is supposed to have said that Angie looked ready to pop at any minute). They are pretty good at keeping out of sight when they want too. Angie did say in the ACurry interview that they weren’t sure where the baby would be born. A pregnant woman can fly on a private plane at any time in her pregnancy especially if a doctor is along, only commercial flights restrict travel to no more than 34-36 weeks pregnant women due to liability concerns. Maybe BP will be in Cannes (and who knows AJ also if she hasn’t given birth by then like CZJones at the Oscars).

AS LONG AS MY FAV COUPLE IS TOGETHER…IA AM HAPPY…IF THEY BOTH SHOWED UP IN CANNES IN THE RED CARPET MUCH BETTER…BUT IF THE FAMILY STAYED IN NAMIBIA…GOOD FOR THEM…I THINK ANGIE GETS ALL THE REST SHE NEEDS BECAUSE AFTER THE BIRTH IT GOONA BE A FULL-TIME HARD WORK. BUT I AM SURE THE COUPLE WILL GET THROUGH WITH IT. THEY REALLY COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER.
