# 381 | Papercut - that may be your intrepretation but I believe what she was saying was that getting recognition for her charitable contribtutions it is not her thing. Jen and Brad both made some significant contributions to various charities while they were married and both have continued to do so.As to whether any of them do it for the tax write off or the recognition is not for me to say. And after all is said and done, none of us have seen their actual tax returns, have we?

#393 MK,Angelina never said she used men for sex.She stated that she met whatever man she was involved with outside of her home. What is wrong with that? She also stated that she took bringing a man into her home very serious and guess who she brought into her home? Brad ,so it shows me she takes this relationship very seriously. This boils down to one thing you just don’t like Angelina.

#384 MKAngelina’s female friends are not celebrities, but other aid workers and women she has known for many years. She is not one of those superficial women who hug and say hello and act like everyone they work with is their best friend. She is very private, and has close, lasting relationships with people she truly cares about and trusts. She does not make friends with people to help her career, and that is why she doesn’t have a lot of celebrity friends, although you would be hard-pressed to find any co-star or director or crew member who did not enjoy working with her and found her sweet and nice. This is why even her two ex-husbands are still her close friends and have never said anything bad about her, and her assistant is one of her best friends. She is a good, kind person, but not a girly-girl who makes every woman her superficial friend to gossip with and shop with. How many male friends does JA have? I find that I like women who have a lot of male friends. They are more real, less back-stabbing, more down to earth. Jen reminds me of the girl in high school who would say mean things about people behind their backs, and pick on the poor outsider or new kid, then go off and giggle with her girlfriends, who of course, all say how wonderful she is because they want to stay her friends and not be picked on by her.

OH MY - Sorry to burst your balloon, but the Gallup Poll isn’t from a celeb magazine. It is a highly respected independent research company that conducts many political polls. Those polled are from the GENERAL PUBLIC and could be from CITIES as well.

Jill Diamante, an actress (Judging Amy) is one of Angie’s best friends and is Maddox’s godmother -also she has several friends she has known forever that aren’t in showbiz - get your bitter jealous stories straight. Also, Maniston has not reconciled with her mother - that was a PR lie, told around the time of the VF interview (and subsequent publicity blitz)so she wouldn’t come off as bizarre, hateful and vengeful towards her own mother, the person that raised her singlehandedly. If you’ve noticed, you haven’t seen any rag pics of her and Moms out and about but you have seen plenty w/ her next gravy train (Vaughn) at X-mas, Thanksgiving and all the holidays…she doesn’t see her mom at all, even on the holidays — she visits spas and gets rip roaring drunk with her ‘good friend’ and producer of her last chance at a hit film, Vince Vaughn…and for the last time…you really can’t compare Angelina’s mostly absentee Dad who left her family when she was 6 mos. old to Maniston’s Mom who raised her all alone, rent free til she was an adult.

# 399 | rock & scissors As I understood from her VOGUE article, Jen does not like doing charity work … it is not her thing.

# 404 | remember da truth - actually it was Jolie herself who said she did not get along well with other women. I think it’s really a lot more balanced to have both men and women friends, as apparently so does Jennifer Aniston.

# 411 | FRIENDS - She said she did not get along well with other women but I don’t remember her saying she don’t have women friends. Where does I don’t get along with well with other women translated into I don’t have women friends. I don’t have much women friends just a couple good ones I can trust and I like it just the way it is as for men friends a few

hypocrisy? @ 05/11/2006 at 5:48 pm

So some of you are back in here criticizing Aniston for smoking and saying she has no class? Please remember that she did not wear a blood soaked shirt to HER first wedding, and one of the last photos of Brad Pitt in Paris he was smoking ciggies on the balcony and looking awfully glum.

say what you will, but even on a bad-hair day I still like Jennifer Aniston and nothing you can say will change my mind.

Angie said she doesn’t get along with women…and here is the quote from the article:"I don’t generally get along with women. I don’t gossip, and I’m not really sensitive, so this can hurt people’s feelings," she says bluntly. As a result, Jolie says, one day after the shoot, the producers pulled her aside and told her that she was "cliquing" too much with some of the actresses - and excluding another. Jolie insists that she and the star in question got along just fine, but this pisses her off. "I work with guys a lot of times and that never happens, you know?" she says, shaking her head and sitting straight up in her chair. "If I come on set and my character has a particularly heavy scene that day, no guy has ever come up to me, you know, like, ‘You were really rude to me yesterday.’ But that happens sometimes with girls." In other words she doesn’t play female games.

# 419 | Alexanderina - sorry but I believe that would be both your loss and Angelina Jolie’s loss. And perhaps one of the things Jon Voight hoped she would get some help with.
