Katie Holmes' Stretch Marks
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have a parents’ day out as they attend Cruise’s son Connor’s Little League game in Beverly Hills on Monday. Baby daughter Suri turns one month old on May 18.
Wow, has it been one month already?! It was only yesterday that we all witnessed Katie Holmes‘ nursing bra blunder! Now we all get to see Katie Holmes‘ stretch marks! How fun!
Tommy went back to the baseball game after going wee-wee.

SHAME on the photographer for using the zoom lens for that purpose! what a perv!! she just had a baby for crying out loud and she looks DAMN good! so she has some stretch marks? SO WHAT?
I think she looks great for having only given birth a month. and I don’t think she or they are obliged to show their baby for a photo op (unlike Brooke Shields, who by the way looks very thin).
I just wish them all happiness.

#23, that is a linea nigra, all women get that, it is a dark line from the pubic area to the navel. C-sections are not done up and down anymore, you would not see where they put an incision, those are done below the pubic hair line now.
I have had stretch marks since I was 22 and my boobs grew from a 36C to a 36DD and that was before I had kids. I know have a matching set from bearing children.I don’t know that this is sooo mean as it is a fact of life, but I find it Interesting that this woman who is reportedly now worth 19 million dollars can’t find cloths that ever fit.Also, I know women who have had children and DO NOT have very visible stretch marks. Why because they maintained their bodies well, during pregnancy. They applied the oils, the creams and the "no scratching" policy diligently. Heidi Klum isn’t a freak, she’s simply under contract. VS told her she could have her children but when she returned to work, her body needed to be exactly as it was when she left or she’d be in breach of her contract. Women who’s livelyhoods depend on there looks usually tend to go out of their way to make sure that they stay as close to "perfect" as possible. Katie Holmes is a C-list actres at best and her body is not the hig point of her career.
God forbid a woman not look anything but perfect after carrying a baby for ten months and squeezing a basketball out of her ******. If it were up to guys to carrying and birth children the human race would be a dying breed.
I’m really surprised that people are screaming about the fact we haven’t seen the baby yet. If they had published pictures of her, you’d be screaming about them using her for publicity, promoting the movie, etc. They can’t win. I feel for katie. Pregnancy is hard enough but to have everything scrutinized has got to be so difficult. Stretch marks are a very normal part of pregnancy, but most of us don’t have to worry about the whole world seeing them. I feel for her.They seem to be laying low and trying to live a normal life. Let’s let them.
The issue I have with these two is the marriage-Why didn’t he marry her a long time ago when they discovered she was pregnant (ben affleck and others)-If he was so couch-jumping freaking crazy about her why not have a wedding before all of this craziness began-After all he claimed he was so excited when they found out she was pregnant-Secondly where in the hell is her mom? I say Tom’s snaggle tooth,porcelain-veneer challenged mom, but not Kate’s. There is NO way I could keep my BIG mouth shut if this were my kid. My daughter’s ****** and uterus are not for sell. I don’t care how much money he has. I would have had a major press conference every other week to condemn this sorry ******* for parading my kid in the media like that-I would read her her rights too. We are so freaking diluted with all of this hollywood immoral bulls__ that we can’t seem to figure out what’s right and wrong anymore. I would screw Tom’s reputation up so bad, the only part he could ever get would be to play Tattoo on re-makes of Fantasy Island. I don’t believe he loves that girl in a natural way. I think SHe is cute, but I would love to tie her down, cut her mop head , give her some stylish clothes and a decent pair of shoes before letting her hopalong in the public like that-She should call Sara Jessica for clothing tips

Everyone gets stretch marks, including celebrities. Unless you already had a belly before being pregnant. The difference between ‘real people’ and celebrities is that celebs can afford to do something about them. They can either get a tummy tuck like Patricia Heaton or get them lasered off. Or the quick fixes for photoshoots and runways i.e. Heidi Klum. Photoshop, lighting and this really thick almost paste like makeup that covers them really well. ;-)
This is so pathetic. You know she’s just wearing that short top to show of the stretch marks. What kind of crap has she been duped into. Maybe even they (scientologists) forbade her to put some oil/cream onto her belly while she was still pregnant, because they wanted her to have stretch marks as proofs against the sceptics.And she looks like crap.
Katie made some sort of arrangement with the devil himself (Cruise), and now she is paying for it.Given her strange actions during her pregnancy, like never touching her own stomach, makes me think that she’s been paid to be a surrogate for his baby (or at least a baby with his genes, such as from his brother’s sperm).In addition to acting as Tom’s surrogate, she’s been paid to be at his side in public, acting all lovely and adoring; smiling on the outside with dark sunglasses hiding her brainwashed, teary eyes.Now, I think that she is regretting the entire thing. I think that somewhere along the way, she really fell in love with Tom and her baby. She convinced herself that once the baby was born, they’d be one happy family.Only Tom is having none of that. All he wants from her is her paid servitude to be at his side in public and for him to be the one to bond with the baby, not her; cause, after all, in his mind Suri is his baby that he bought and paid for. Now, Katie is heartbroken at the deal that she made; and I believe that she is being threatened to follow through with the original arrangement, giving up all rights to her baby. That’s why she looks so miserable.I agree that Suri was probably born earlier, and a fake belly was used to time her official birth to coincide with the opening of MI3.
Jessie Williams, WOW! Exactly my thoughts! You just summarized everything I always thought about this fiasco. I think that if she always looked so miserable, it was because somewhere, at the beginning, she was dreaming or hoping that Tom Cruise would really fall in love with her. That’s why she was always so awkward towards him in her kisses and hugs. I always thought that she was hoping to really get him as her "real man". But first, Tom is an egomaniac, he just loves himself, and second, even though he would be able to fall in love with somebody, you can’t change or force another sexual orientation then your real one. A closeted gay man can maybe become close friend with his beard, but he will always be gay. Gay men fall in love with other men, not girls like katie. And now she is realizing she’s done all that for nothing, except the money she will get. It’s obvious he doesn’t give a damn about her and doesn’t respect her. He drags her like she is a dog and I bet he never looks at her except for the photo ops.
If any of you have had a baby, you would know that those ARE stretch marks, and the line up her belly is the dark line that many women get when stretched to the max.I can’t believe that this consumes so many people.
Not everyone gets stretch marks from having babies. I have had 2,one mid 30’s and the other early 40’s. Before I even had children I was in the habit of looking after my skin and during the pregnancies, this did not change. I used cold pressed wheat germ oil and swear by it and did not get one stretch mark. Unfortunately all women are different and genetics play a big part. So leave her alone, although I am not a fan, I am a woman and would find what most of the media is saying very offensive. I do wonder though why she is away from the baby so much. Both of my babies went everywhere I did and still do,as I was breastfeedimg.. I just find this a little controlling on anothers part.

Maybe they’ll call their next kid Striae? pronounced "stry" the actual medical term for the stretch mark. Suri and Striae, it has a nice ring to it. Someone give the woman a longer shirt please. Mind you though, even a full length gown couldn’t cover up Paris Hilton’s flaps so maybe we’ll be seeing more of Katie’s belly too. Bring it on.
First of all, those aren’t stretch marks, merely the marks left from her jeans and top. Any woman who’s had a child with real stretch marks knows what they look like, and it sure as hell ain’t that. Second, the so-called oops-bra-shot was a photo-op staged to show the world that she really had a baby and is nursing. Just another ploy to contradict the real oops-shot of the fake belly bodysuit pic that were published. It’s ridiculous how far this fake couple and the media who support them will go to continue this charade. Enough already. Give the baby back to it’s *real* mother…
