According to The Daily Mirror, Brad and Angelina are rumored to have struck a deal with US Weekly for the first pictures of their baby. A source close to the couple said, "They’ve signed a $5 million deal with a publication and the money will go to children’s charity UNICEF. Angelina’s very private but they figured they might as well use the opportunity of one child being born to help a lot of others." Did People really lose the bidding war? I find that pretty hard to believe! But $5 million bucks… that’s a lotta moo-lah. But if it’s going all to charity, all the better!

Extra is just reporting the same news that we read earlier today.
#140, I understand where you are coming from when you say you wouldn’t sell your baby’s pictures. But superstars like BAMZ+! have only a few choices in order to have any kind of peace after the birth. They can do nothing which means the paps will be all over them trying to get the first picture that one of them will then turn around and sell for megabucks, they can do like Paltrow and show the baby to all of them at one time or they can control the event and in turn do some good for a charity (of course the fourth choice is a Michael Douglas-Zeta Jones one–sell the pictures and keep the money which they put in a charity for their child to run). If this story is true, that five million dollars can help a lot of children and children are very dear to both Angie and Brad’s hearts. Not sure if this story is true, but if so, I think they are trying to do some good instead having some greedy paparazzi pocket the money. Guess in their shoes you have to ask yourself–would rather some scumbag of a paparazzi pocketed $2million or more dollars or would you rather $5million went to a charity to help children.

Dear #55, Brad surely does have more than me financially but not character wise I can be sure. I have never cheated on my husband, that is as low as you can go. He got another woman pregnant while still married and even though the papers were filed that is not a moral thing to do. As for Angelina, just because she throws some pesos at the starving, in her personal life she has showed time and time again she has no morals whatsoever. But there are a lot of people like you who probably live the same lifestyle and think it is ok, so more power to you.

#198: IMHO, ICBW but in December, Pitt’s family was in Malibu and they were staying pretty much under the radar, except for XMas tree shopping and one or two pics from Howe’s Grocery Store in Trancas (Malibu).
