I think alot of her movies, despite not reaching "hit" status, were very good and deserved a bit more credit. Chokher Bali was an awesome movie, and even though it was talked about, it didn’t get as much credit as Devdas or Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (my personal favorite). Yes, alot of the attention she gets is because she is drop dead gorgeous, but she has some talent with that as well…it’s not all about the looks. Nobody could have played Nandini, Paro, or Binodini better than she did, in my opinion. :)

I don’t know about her acting & I don’t care. The woman is perfection. Her & Angelina are 2 of the most gorgeous women ever!!p.s. that’s gotta be one of my most favorite photos ever of her and what’s her face holding her camera up. Lord, that’s just gross. Never pose with someone so beautiful, no matter what you look like you’ll look hideous.

When people mention relationships, all you Ash fans can think of is Salman. Whatever happened to Viveik and Abhi? She snatched them both at the peak of their respective careers. She’s beautiful, no doubt, but watch her movies. Squeaky voice, wishy-washy character portrayals. The one thing she is good at is looking good on screen. She’ll never be recognized for the little talent she has; it will be all about her beauty. And other actors just say nice things about her even though they may not think so because they can’t say something bad about her. I hate to mention someone else’s name in her thread but Angelina doesn’t care about being the world’s most beautiful person. I’m sure she acknowledges it but she doesn’t take advantage of the title and never acts so full of herself. Beauty isn’t the only thing that will get you so far. Angelina has achieved it because she has both beauty and personality. She acts like herself, whether or not other people like it. It’s all about individuality for her. Too bad the same can’t be said about Aishwarya.

By the way,, comparrisons to Angelina jolie or any other actress are quite stupid,,Why people constantly feel the need to make those comparisions, are beyond me!!! They REALLY DON’T PROVE ANYTHING!!!

First of all I have not known actresses in India without make-up. Someone mentioned Rani, oh boy, she wears lots of it, I believe even more than Ash. Rani is a good actress but I do believe so is Ash. Just because Ash is getting attention and not Rani, there is no need to bring Ash down.As for Ash being arrogant and put off in interviews. I guess beauty is in the eye of a beholder. I have seen quite a number of Ash’s interview, I didn’t see arrogance, cold or calculating attitude. I thought she was rather sweet, sometimes appearing naive.I don’t think she asked to appear innocent in media or otherwise. Media creates whatever they like. As for snatching Abhi and Vivek. You make them sound they are purses you just pick up. Give the men some credit. People get together and break up all the time. I am sure many of us have had boy/girl friends and broken up with them. Why is it such a big issue with Ash? It doesn’t always work up the first time you find someone.

I think Aish is really beautiful but I don’t like her. She’s not that great of an actress and I don’t think she can make it in Hollywood. And she is a little too proud. I personally think that Kajol, Rani and Sushmita are much better than Aishwarya.To Nikki:Oh and you think Hollywood movies are very close to reality? Just to let you guys know Lisa Ray (from bollywood) is not african american, she is of Indian/Polish descent, her father was indian and her mother was polish.
