Aquaman Trailer Starring Justin Hartley
The newly formed CW network declined to pick up Aquaman, from the executive producers of Smallville. The Aquaman pilot was shot in Miami and starred soap veteran Justin Hartley as the superhero and also featured Lou Diamond Phillips and Ving Rhames. The CW network posted an Aquaman homepage temporarily at http://www.cwtv.com/cw-aquaman.html but has since been taken down. But not before the Aquaman trailer was leaked! You can watch that below (it’s narrated by Daniella Wolters, who plays Aquaman’s mother Atlanna). Aquaman would have airred on Wednesdays 9/8c but that time slot is now filled by One Tree Hill. The mom’s voice sounds exactly like Clark Kent’s mom on smallville…weird.
Holy dumbass.Read…"(it’s narrated by Annette O’Toole, Smallville’s Martha Kent)" above.Looked like an all right show but it would not have lasted very long.Too immediately derivative and with the failures Tarzan, and that Huntress/Batman thing that went nowhere they had enough to go on to pass it over.The Smallville guys need to be more innovative.
holy dumbass..Ever hear of sarcasm?? I just thought it was stupid how they would use Superman’s mom’s voice to narrate Aquaman’s mom’s voice.
Hey, this guy is Fox from the soap opera Passions on NBC….so thats what happened to him. They had all of a sudden changed Fox on the show to some other guy…i guess he got somewhat of a better gig. Though, the show looks really stupid.

okay say what you will…he’s a total hottie….the show looks sorta interesting, but again look at how Tarzan failed…but eyecandy nonetheless
And that crap One Tree Hill got renewed. That’s a show that would not last another season anyway. It also canned Everwood and renewed Seventh Heaven because the SH "series finale" got ok ratings. CW has no guts.
He is hot, but the show will not last more then one year… too bad… just like TARZAN, i will sure miss AQUADUDE
That’s actually not Annette O’Toole’s voice, though it sounds a lot like her, it’s Daniella Wolters (Atlanna).Also, the title was never "The Reef: The Legend of Aquaman." I have no idea where that came from, though it was in development as "Mercy Reef" for a while.I screened the pilot myself on Thursday, and it was quite good. Such a bummer :(Oh, and just so my corrections don’t cause any hurt feelings - JustJared is a great site, don’t get me wrong at all! I love the stuff you manage to dig up (and am amazed you get away with it!)
It looks pretty bad from those pictures. They should have tried a movie first or maybe selling it on Saturday morning. I know they feel stupid, Ving has been talking about this for months. Aren’t these the same people who sold WB that catwoman/ half batman series.

i thought it was great. I love Justin Hartley hes a hottie. i dont care wat the rest of ya;ll say i thought it would be a great series.
Too bad it got cut so soon. i saw the pilot after downloading off iTunes and it was actually WAY better than i thought i would be! i would loved to have seen where the story line went because it actually looked very promiseing. maybe a little familiar but still good!
Why a different Aquaman> I mean, why not use the same guy from Smallville?
