Brad Pitt's Bike Ride

Brad Pitt was unable to make it this morning’s screening of his film Babel at the Cannes Film Festival. Babel is directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and also stars Cate Blanchett and Gael Garcia Bernal. Brad, 42, sent his regards via email: "With the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our family, I am unable to join Alejandro, Cate, Gael and the rest of the cast and crew introducing the film. I am tremendously proud of Babel and want to congratulate everyone involved for this great achievement." Brad’s family — pregnant (?) Angelina Jolie, 30, son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 4, and daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 1 — are still with him on vacation in Namibia. Oh my God, the birth of baby Shiloh has finally happened. I am so happy for Brad and Angie. When I learned of the breaking news, I have to come to JJ’s site and share my thoughts to my fellow BAMZ supporters. Wishing them the very best!

I had problems with my highspeed internet connection last week and I missed JJ’ site. The first thing that came up on my screen was the blessed birth of baby Shiloh on the Moviefone homepage late Saturday evening. I am still on cloud nine and imagining how Brad and Angie must feel. It must me so powerful- their love stronger for each other and their children.

It is just heartwarming to see Brad spending quality time with his children. It is simply priceless! I admire him more than ever this last year, evolving into the joys of fatherhood- his best role ever in his life at par with his love partnership with Angie.
