Brad Pitt's Bike Ride

Brad Pitt's Bike Ride

Brad Pitt was unable to make it this morning’s screening of his film Babel at the Cannes Film Festival. Babel is directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and also stars Cate Blanchett and Gael Garcia Bernal. Brad, 42, sent his regards via email: "With the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our family, I am unable to join Alejandro, Cate, Gael and the rest of the cast and crew introducing the film. I am tremendously proud of Babel and want to congratulate everyone involved for this great achievement." Brad’s family — pregnant (?) Angelina Jolie, 30, son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 4, and daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 1 — are still with him on vacation in Namibia. More pictures added to this entry’s gallery from Brad’s Biking Adventure with Maddox and Zahara!

# 121 | Krissy Small world! I went to Georgia State! jpf

# 121 | Krissy |Hey Krissy I am so glad that it was just a scare and your Mom is fine. Well, you didn’t miss much other than the helmet and the fake photo argument, but the most impottant thing is you haven’t missed the birth of the bundle of joy :) GO BUCK!!!

# 122 | remember da truthbbt isn’t your selfless, giving kinda guy is he? honestly, i liked the idea of the two of them together. but angie, like brad, is ever-evolving and bbt couldn’t/wouldn’t keep up. from the person she was then and to the woman she is now is a fascinating transformation.

Krissy - No but I have had two strange migraines - for one of them I saw red dots and had no splitting headache. for another I had the ubiquitous splitting headache to the point of passing out. They happened at two different times in my life - in my teens and early twenties. The last time when I got them, my optometrist checked everything thoroughly and found my eye sight fine and no sign of clotting or whats not. However, he suggested I do these test more frequently until he feels it is fine because the thing is you never know what you’ve got.I was so scared such that I changed my diet, job and outlook. I tell yeah, it is scary stuff.Hopefully your mom doesn’t go through this again.

That looks really dangerous…

These pics are just too cute. I’m glad that the helmet talk is dying down. I can picture Brad debating about baby Z’s helmet before, finally, going for a ride.

# 121 | Krissy - I am glad that your Mom is okay and that it was only a one time thing

# 123 | Original jpf | Oh my God the high street and the bars. Well guess what the tables have turned on me now, my oldest son is a pre-vet and lives on campus and having a ball. I’ll ask him so where were you last night, "oh you wouldn’t mom we were at Larry’s or the Varsity club" and I crack up since those were my favorite places to party. Oh heck, now I’m living thru them until I go to Turkey and I feel 20 years younger and have ball with hubby :) BTW- It sure is a small world….

109 Passing Through - You and I are going to disagree on the issue of the fake photos and how to deal with fellow BAMZers who occassionally become over passionate about something. When I come on the thread, I always read your posts as you often have some good insights to make. And you have a dry, ascerbic wit. I loved the phony conversations you started. I didn’t see the harm in those phony convos as I don’t see it ever getting out of this thread, unless the FF posters post them and why would they?? I believe you mentioned that you are working on a script or book. Reading your phony convos, I hope you’ll get that book or script produced. On the matter of Agniezka, she may have expressed herself somewhat rudely and strongly because of her frustration. She really believed the photos to be faked and she did leave a post explaining why she was so passionate about proving them to be fakes - so that those usual criticism about Brad being a bad parent because of the HELMET issue would be invalid. So given her good intentions, I’d overlook the rest. We all get a little obsess about things sometimes. Even on HELMETS.

okay. so the buzz from cannes is giving me a real jones to see babel. does anyone know when it’s scheduled for release in the states? i’m thinking about taking the day off from work just to see it. # 106 | gitane ***********************************Its scheduled for release on October 6 in the US.

This is from Eyes of Brad from Bradforums.net:I just got a very reliable source that Angie & Brad are having a baby BOY and she be giving birth between May29-June2nd. OMG bring out the cigars!!!!! All I was told in sectret that she’s having a boy & birth is between May29-June 2nd. This came from Bauer-Griffin.inside info…cause I know the owner. It’s a hot tip, I was lucky to getthe most reliable agency. The owner told me in secret.go to Bauer-Griffin.com & check it out. They are so respectedwhen it comes to hot tips.I just spoke to Rameypix & spoke to the owner & he said if Frank Griffin says something it’s true!!!! A client who owns Bauer-Griffin agency told me in secret about the sex of the munchkin AND when she is supose to give birth(5/29-6/02) bauer-griffin.com is THE most respected agency. They are always right. They have major inner connections and Frank Griffin shared it w/me cause he knows I adore BAMZ.WE got the scoopEyes of Brad said this is reliable but I am just taking it at face value, but I thought I share it with you guys

# 124 | remember da truththat sounds wonderful. btw, when does jesse james come out?

COLD HARD MATH @ 05/23/2006 at 9:54 pm

Krissy,Glad your mom is feeling better…..| #136 Alexanderina |I saw this too!I was just getting ready to post this. I just don’t know you guys. The rumors are driving me crazy! I’ll believe it when I see it on:CNN.AOL.RUETERS.PEOPLE.MSNBC.KEEP ON ROCKIN BAMZ!WAITING INPATIENTLY, PLUS ONE!

Alexanderina @ 05/23/2006 at 9:56 pm

# 138 | COLD HARD MATH - That is exactly what a poster said at Bradforums.netI’ll believe it when I see it on:CNN.AOL.RUETERS.PEOPLE.MSNBC.

That could be true since the paprazzi pay people for Info. they might have paid someone at Angelina’s doctors office.

# 133 | guli OMG! Yes it is a small world. I had such a blast all those yrs ago hanging out there. Another thing I forgot. Because of the Ohio State Fair, my 2nd fav way to eat pomme frites is with malt vinegar (mayo/truffle oil/dijon mix is heavenly is first and heavenly). Oh my, did I get into some good trouble in that town lol!jpf

If Frank Griffin had the realible info, he could have sold it to the tabs, I don’t think any tabs had printed it yet, I know US weekly said its a boy but they were wrong on the due date. why just say it to a bamz fan, it its that reliable. Bauer Griffin is a photo agency and they are in business, they make money our of pics and info they source themselves. Im not sure guys, but I don’t think any of the tabs have that info yet. Nowadays, there’s just too much speculation, anything is possible…

OMG…just saw Extra…they have the bike pics and also more behind the scene of the unrated MAMS…I can not wait to get that video….they had a behind the scene where AJ was not happy with one of the scene and she said" I don’t know what I’m doing…I don’t know about this…" to Director Doug Linman….and some more bloopers as well.

another BABEL review http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,14936-2194146,00.htmlBabelJames Christopher at the Cannes Film Festival***** (five stars)THE final part of Alejandro González Iñárritu’s trilogy, which began with Amores Perros and continued with 21 Grams, is a stunning piece of cinema. It was inspired by the biblical story and explores divisions between cultures, families and couples, and the tragic loneliness that binds us all. This was one of the most eagerly awaited films in competition for the Palme d’Or at Cannes and it doesn’t disappoint on any level.*Click here to find out more! The director is fearless. His film swivels around three profoundly affecting stories set on three continents and linked by an act of childish stupidity: two young Moroccan boys, testing out their new hunting rifle, accidentally shoot an American tourist (Cate Blanchett) in the neck. Her frantic husband, Brad Pitt, forces the driver of their tour bus to stop at the nearest village to find help. The terrified passengers are eager to abandon them.Back home in San Diego, the Mexican nanny of Pitt and Blanchett’s two children takes them on an ill-fated journey across the border to attend the wedding of her son.In Tokyo the businessman who had given the rifle to a peasant in Morocco grieves over his wife’s suicide while his deaf mute daughter goes looking for sex and escape in nightclubs.Like the two previous parts of the trilogy, Babel is a story about parents and children and the profound sense of isolation that occurs when intimate links are broken. Some scenes are so intense that I could barely bring myself to look at the screen. The mountain shepherd who tries to stanch the wound in Blanchett’s neck with a needle and thread is just one.The elderly nanny, dumped by her panic-stricken nephew (Gael Garcia Bernal) in the middle of the desert at night with Pitt’s two children, is another. Iñárritu’s taste for vertiginous moments of panic is a hallmark of all his films. Here, they leave the viewer reeling. Yet nothing feels contrived or imposed. The creeping dread as these stories career out of control is brilliantly orchestrated. The clash of cultures is mirrored by the landscapes. The parched poverty of the Moroccan Outback frames the futility and desperation as Pitt screams down the phone for help and an ambulance. The bitter irony is that in a world bursting with technology, we still fail miserably to communicate.Other “borders” are subtly touched: the gap between adolesc

# 143 | Estelle - Access Hollywood also have the bicycle pictures and the Nancy chick also mentioned that Brad wasn’t wearing a helmet, I had enough already with the helmet thing

thanks for the review #144| Are there any reviews that mention the individual performances? I’ve read a lot of good things about the movie, but I would like to read what someone thought about Brad’s performance.

# 145 | Alexanderina - I know…enough arleady…I agreed with you.

remember da truth @ 05/23/2006 at 10:25 pm

Gitane, I don’t know when Jesse James comes out, but I’ll mark my calendar now for Babel! I agree with you about BBT doesn’t change, adn Angie does. But truly, I think she is not all that different, just able to express her giving side. The wild side is still there, and it shows in the motorcycles, tattoos, etc. None of her rebelliousness was ever bad, and now she has so much energy channeled toward good that it seems her rebelliousness is past. #136 AlexanderinaSo this person was given a secret, and decided to go on the Internet with it, and tell a rival agency as well? He’s obviously not trustworthy, so I’m not going to believe him until it’s proven.
