Brad Pitt's Bike Ride
Brad Pitt was unable to make it this morning’s screening of his film Babel at the Cannes Film Festival. Babel is directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and also stars Cate Blanchett and Gael Garcia Bernal. Brad, 42, sent his regards via email: "With the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our family, I am unable to join Alejandro, Cate, Gael and the rest of the cast and crew introducing the film. I am tremendously proud of Babel and want to congratulate everyone involved for this great achievement." Brad’s family — pregnant (?) Angelina Jolie, 30, son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 4, and daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 1 — are still with him on vacation in Namibia. More pictures added to this entry’s gallery from Brad’s Biking Adventure with Maddox and Zahara!

I know that we are all tired about the helmet thing, but I guess other people are putting their two cents Brad Pitt & Britney Spears Need Parenting Lessons? ——————————————————————————–By Julie PikeMay 24, 2006 Poor Britney Spears - it seems as anytime she’s out with her baby and a safety mishap occurs - there are snappers and video to document the event. That’s probably one of the reasons Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in Africa, but unfortunately for Brad that hasn’t really helped.Brit and Brad Have Mishaps Documented Rush and Molloy ask, has Brad Pitt been reading the Britney Spears Child-Care Manual? It seems that Brad was photographed out for a bicyle ride in Langstrand, Namibia, with son Maddox Pitt-Jolie, 4, and daughter Zahara Pitt-Jolie, 16 months. Baby "Z" as the couple refers to the little one was without a helmet.R&M explain:Maddox, who wore a helmet, peddled a tricyle. Zahara, who did not, rode in a blue papoose strapped to Brad’s back. That’s a no-no, according Debra Smiley Holtzman, author of "The Safe Baby.""[Zahara] needs a helmet and closed-toe shoes," Holtzman tells Us Weekly, which features photos of the outing in its new issue. "And I highly recommend toddlers ride in a child trailer pulled by a bike. It’s more stable and secure."Baby Talk senior editor Christina Vercelletto agreed.Makers of the baby-pack "specifically say, ‘Do not use while riding a bike,’" Vercelletto told us. "[It] will affect your balance. The safest place for her would be in a toddler bike seat."Pitt’s rep had no immediate comment on the scolding. Maybe the kiddie-caboose hasn’t reached Namibia, where Pitt and Angelina Jolie are awaiting their first biological child.***The pictures first appeared in the News of the World Tabloid. Just Jared has them here.–Julie Pike
# 194 | AG aka BabyJinx - ((((clapping))))))…I love the video and the new name….my goodness, you are so talented, from writing to this and singing too?…Awesome, I’m going back to see it one more time before going to work…and also thanks Stef as well. :)))
Testing
#200 Sarafina,Man that is so weird that they haven’t published any pics of that child. A poster from another bamz thread had a theory that TC is waiting for the +1 and then battle it out on which baby pic would sell out the most or something that goes along that phrase, and that it’ll be a bad move on TC. I totally agree, hopefully that’s not TC’s real intention on why they havent published any pics of suri. It’ll be an embarassment for him imo. African Girl aka babyjinx, that was great! heck your other videos r great as well. Thanks for sharing them. More power to you guys for making those videos.
Sorry guys, I had to do the testing, for some odd reasons I couldn’t post last night.Anyways, JJ Thanks for the SWEET photos of the family. They are so adorable. Couldn’t wait to see the member of the family. :)
Remember the story circulating yesterday that the Governor of Namibia will name little Jolie-Pitt, that is so not true, like I said yesterday Intouch Weekly is feeling left behind so they are making up crap. This is from the Associated Press:The governor of the Namibian province where the family is staying has been quoted as saying he would visit the hospital and name the baby. "No. No. That’s absolutely not true," Samuel Nuuyoma, who has met the couple, told The Associated Press Wednesday. "I never said such a thing. Never in history," he said, abruptly ending the phone conversation.
# 204 | Light - ITA with you Light. I said from the beginning that TC is waiting for when the Jolie-Pitt baby is born to show Suri’s pictures to take away some of the media’s attention from baby Jolie-Pitt. All the babies that born before and after TC’s baby pictures have come out except little Suri, I feel something fishy going on there, but we will see
Thanks Alexanderina. It’s always fun to see tabloids get caught lying.
Thank you Jared for giving us our daily fix……..((AG))That as wonderfull. BRAVO, BRAVO. We do appreciate you RICA!
Morning All!And we wait…………I’m still hoping she has the baby in MAY and that it is a girl! Homework and a final to study for. Who is the MIAMI HEAT FAN?Have a good day everyone!KEEP ON ROCKIN BAMZ!REALLY, WAITING INPATIENTLY, PLUS ONE!
#201 Like Kelly Ripa said if they put cameras on all parents, they’ll find something wrong. I’m sure by now Brad knows how to improve on that. We still commend his involvement with his kids.
PITT’S PARENTING CATCHES EYE OF EXPERTS________________________________________Hollywood star BRAD PITT is the latest celebrity to catch the attention of child care experts after he was photographed cycling with his adopted baby daughter ZAHARA strapped to his back. The TROY heart-throb is currently in Namibia with his pregnant girlfriend ANGELINA JOLIE and their adopted children MADDOX, 4, and Zahara, 16 months, awaiting the birth of their first biological child anytime now. Photos taken last week (18MAY06) appear to show Pitt cycling in the village of Langstrand with the young tot riding on his back in a papoose. Child expert DEBRA SMILEY HOLTZMAN, author of THE SAFE BABY, says, "Zahara needs a helmet and closed-toe shoes. And I highly recommend toddlers ride in a child trailer pulled by a bike. It’s more stable and secure." Baby Talk magazine editor CHRISTINA VERCELLETTO adds, "(Makers of the papoose) specifically say, ‘Do not use while riding a bike.’ It will affect your balance. The safest place for her would be in a toddler bike seat."
Stef…if your here today…just saw your "Real Thing" video and it was great. You guys inspire…so much talent on this thread, blog…whatever you call it. I have ideas swimming in my head right now…Man, I’m speachless.Think I’m going to send another letter th PR…Back to work…
OMG…please stop with the helmet/no helmet and now the baby papoose….ok, for all the "expert" listen even God make mistake….so get off their back….next thing you know…"oh, he’s using the chopstick wrong…it should the middle finger around the index finger, cross the thumb…"( ohh..sound kinky…lol)
I stopped liking Brad when I saw a picture of him resting his dirty foot on the table of Pakistan’s president. What a looser.
# 211 | fan according ny daily news " the parenting police" are like safety watchdogs.
You BAMZ fans would criticize Brit and Ryan Phillipe for the same things–and to that poster who said Zahara couldn’t wear a helmet because of the soft spot on her head–wouldn’t a fall be even WORSE for her? Sheesh. ________________________________________Hollywood star BRAD PITT is the latest celebrity to catch the attention of child care experts after he was photographed cycling with his adopted baby daughter ZAHARA strapped to his back. So does this make the crybabies happy now????Brad has been given the proverbial smack on the back of the hand.# 207 | Alexanderina You know I kinda agree with you. But I actually think that he’s holding out for more money. He doesn’t need it but with him it would represent his stature in Hollywood. He’s ‘Tom Cruise’, his baby’s photo should go for more than Brad Pitt’s. He says there is no competition with Brad but I get the feeling there’s more than Tom or his publicist (does he have one?) will admit. They did a poll that showed his popularity had dropped immensly. They showed him the results and he and his publicist (she does exist huh?) claimed that their numbers showed no such thing. Is this man totally gone on himself or what?
TMOTO sucks **** for a living. That’s why she’s so bitter.BTW - Loser’s spelled with 1 "o", genius.
LMAO! I remember thinking that same thing. Brad–so low classy! Get your feet off the presidents’ furniture.
me again…yeah im here im just making another actually, it will be really in about 2 hours so stand by, it would be quicker, but i have to take my little sister to dance class! i have about 6 more picts to put on then final touches then its yours!
No offense to the safety nazis but I really don’t give a rat’s ass what articles you pull up about helmuts. They make me yawn. Next!I’m so effing excited about Brad’s getting the recognition he deserves at Cannes. Karma can be a ***** but it also rewards those who deserve to be rewarded. Attention Haters! This is good karma in action.
# 217 | be fair If you had bothered to read this thread, you would have seen that BAMZ fans had already posted this bit of info. So you see there are BAMZ fans that agree that the baby…Z should have had on a helmet. So what’s your point? When did BAMZ fans EVER rush over to a Britney spears site or Ryan Phillipe site to critisize them for their parenting habits?Jeeze!!!GET OVER IT!!!
# 221 | stef | Can’t wait :) Thanks…
Mohawk hell — what about the nonexistent apology for calling anyone who disagreed with her stupid? And not letting it go and jumping down our throats? How about the nonexistent apology for even bringing it up and trying to destroy people’s innocent pleasure for the sole purpose of self-aggrandizement? # 179 | remember da truth++++++++++++++++++++++++++RDT…I wrote that before I saw her post. But, yes, you are correct. We’re due an apology and I’m pretty darned sure we won’t be getting one.
