Miami Vice Movie
New Pictures! Above is Colin Farrell, 29, in all his mullet glory as Det. James ‘Sonny’ Crockett and Gong Li, 40, as Isabella. (Sonny gets romantically involved with Isabella, the wife of an arms and drug trafficker, while working deep undercover with the supplier of the group.) Also featured is Jamie Foxx, 38, as Det. Ricardo Tubbs and Justin Theroux, 34, as Det. Larry Zito. Miami Vice opens in theaters nationwide this summer on July 28th. Check out the trailer below. More pictures in the gallery!

They should of picked Brad Pitt and Terrance Howard…and should of took place in the 80’s would of been much better.

I don’t know. I think it could be pretty good. I’ve liked most of Michael Mann’s movies, with particularly high marks for ‘Heat’ and ‘The Insider’. I’m glad it wasn’t set in the 80s.
This movie is going to blow gigantic chunks. Colin Farrell with a handlebar moustache; what, he wasn’t gross enough already? And I don’t care how many Oscars Jamie Foxx wins, he’ll always be Ugly Wanda to me.
I love Gong Li in Memoirs of a Geisha and I will look forward to this movie. I also loveColin Farrell, I dont dig the hair and the mustache though I will still watch the movie.. HOT

Gong Li is an amazing actress. Have you seen her in Red Sorghum or Ju dou or others. My husband and I went to see a movie with her in it called the First Concubine or something like that. I was a fan of Gong Li but my husband was indifferent but he agreed with me that though Gong Li was NOT more beautiful then the other lead actress, when she was on the screen, you could not take your eyes of her. I did not go to see Memoirs of a Geisha but I read some film critics reports that that the same was true there in scenes if Zhang Zi Yi. I don’t know whether Gong Li will perform as well in English as she did in Mandarin but for me, she would be the reason to see Miami Vice. And yeah, she’s 40 but chinese women have physically thicker skin and look younger then caucasian women. Also I don’t think she’s ever tried to tan herself.
i did not know gong li is in this film (hahaha…i live in a cave). although i love her performance in memoirs of a geisha but it pained me to hear her English. But I don’t blame her. It would be so much better if the director pick a Japanese actor and use subtitles instead. But I guess it would totally affect the sales…I hope her English improves a lot for this film.
