Brad & Angelina: Water Fountain
Photogs’ appetites whetted: ‘Most anticipated baby since Jesus‘
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have an entire government on their side in the latest celebrity vs. paparazzi skirmish as they await the birth of their child in seclusion at a resort in Namibia.
The Namibian Embassy in Pretoria tells journalists seeking visas for Namibia to cover the birth of the eagerly awaited celebrity baby that they must have permission from Pitt and Jolie in writing before they will be allowed into the country.
The government, which has seen its profile as a tourist destination increased by the celebrity visit, has arrested photographers, confiscated film, set up large green barriers on the beach to shield the couple and their children Zahara and Maddox, ringed the hotel with heavy security and threatened to expel any journalist trying to cover the birth without the parents’ permission.
"This lady is expecting," Namibian Prime Minister Nahas Angula was quoted as telling South Africa’s Sunday Times last month. "You guys are harassing her. Why don’t you allow her some privacy? Harassment is not allowed in Namibia."

Interest has heightened in recent weeks as photographers anticipated the due date was near. It escalated Tuesday when an e-mail Pitt sent to the Cannes Film Festival and read to reporters there said he was unable to attend because of the baby’s "imminent arrival."
Darryn Lyons, the chairman of Big Pictures, which runs Mr. Paparazzi.com, said in London that the two stars are certain to gain more attention by taking up residence in a poor corner of Africa then they would in the United States.
"I don’t think they could have given the people more of an appetite to see the new creature," said Lyons, referring to the decision to hole up in Namibia. "It is the most anticipated baby since Jesus Christ."
"They would have been more discreet sitting in Malibu," he said. "I don’t know why they’re going to all this ridiculous trouble."
Before Pitt and Jolie took up residence at a luxury hotel on the Namibian coast, the government never required that journalists get permission from private citizens — foreign or otherwise — to obtain a visa.
John Liebengerg, a South African magazine photographer, was arrested Wednesday for a second time in less than a week for trying to take pictures of the couple at a restaurant.
The arrest was condemned by the South African National Editors Forum.
"The forum believes citizens have a right to privacy, however journalists also have a right to be able to do their jobs without unfair hindrance or intimidation," the forum said in a statement.
South Africa’s Sunday Times said last month its own photographer and three French photographers were ordered to leave Namibia or face arrest.
Lyons said he has a team in place in Namibia, but that none of his photographers have been arrested. He added someone — perhaps even the midwife — with a small camera or one built into their mobile phone stood to make a lot of money.
"You could probably buy Namibia with that picture," he said, estimating the first picture of Pitt and Jolie’s baby would be worth $5 million.
Namibia, a country half the size of Alaska, is rich in diamonds and strategic metals, but most of its 1.8 million people are poor. – AP

Yep B/A BulliesWatch the childish bullying pile upI didn’t expect anything less from any of you I’m a longtime lurker, but AG and others ignore other posters all the time. Its always about the in-jokes. It can make the atmosphere of this forum feel cold to ‘outsiders’I'm not being offensive, it’s just how many of us feel. I don’t know if B/A Bullies is a JA fan or not, but they have a good pointNow carry on bashing me. Others will see, and it means you are proving the point
Thank u, YOU! I know that African Girl is a fan of BAMZS, but why are some people always writing this concerning her, specially angry stuff? I am sorry if my question sounds stupid, but with a 2-year-old daughter, I am not able to read all of the comments carefully.
# 1816 | Jinx | - Sexy video and the song is beautiful. Thank you
RE: #1789, B/A Bullies: African Girl is a long-time, loyal poster. I have never seen anything written by her that appeared exclusive. I will agree with you that she is often the center of a "group", but anyone who sticks around long enough eventually builds a following. Another poster, who does seem to enjoy the thought that they are insiders, refers to and responds to her very frequently. When she does, she always lists several other names, creating the impression that they are a special group, like a high school sorority or clique. I almost commented on this very thing last night, so it is interesting to have someone else mention it, although you are being much more critical than I think necessary. I don’t think the other poster has any idea she makes others feel left out. I think she is from another country, and is relishing the bond she feels. There IS a group who regularly talk back and forth to one another, but you know, so what? That is the uniqueness of this kind of media, isn’t it? So, if you think maybe you might be guilty of this out there, understand that when you list yourselves as "the regulars" you are eliminating many others, thereby defeating the purpose of everyone getting together to share thoughts. Let everyone feel we are a group, OK? Thank you for letting me speak my piece!
# 1818 | Mediterranean - Simple, because they are a bunch of jealous *******
oh my god that video was f*cking amazing, I loved it!!
# 1817 | MischaI’ll keep bashing cause that’s what I do…. you seem more intent on people reading your rubbish then contributing any worth while information..besides everyone on this blog knows I’m a smart ass already….didn’t misscha that time
#1817 Mischa/BA BulliesMaybe they are bashing you because you are a jerk, not because of anyone being a bully. The only thing no one likes is a whiner. Maybe you’ll feel more comfortable on a JA thread where whining and blaming others for your own insecurities is considered virtuous. What’s your problem with African Girl? If you can’t get along with people, that’s YOUR problem — don’t come here whining you are ignored and try to make it OUR problem.Everyone on here was new at one time. I came on only a short time ago and didn’t need a parade or standing ovation to feel welcome.Get over yourself and dive in or stop pointing fingers. No one here cares about who anyone is as long as you have something worthwhile to contribute. No one is going to hold your hand — doesn’t mean they are bullies. This isn’t a schoolyard, so grow up.
Moi Jade and others in the birthing business, I too had no choice but to have a c-section. The reason apparently was the shape of my personal pelvic opening—it has nothing to do with the size of one’s hips, large or small, but with the way the opening is shaped. In my case, no one noticed this (my hips aren’t tiny), but the opening was long and narrow, and no baby’s head could ever fit through. This was 29 years ago, and I think it could only have been detected with an x-ray. Anyway, after two days of labor, lots of stress, a failed inducing attempt, etc., a c-section saved the day. Complications with my heart were another story, so thank goodness I happened to be at a major university/teaching hospital with every resource for saving mothers. Otherwise…So, could it be that early on they detected this anomoly in the shape of Angie’s pelvic opening? I’d like to think I have one thing in common with Angelina physically!
Jinx…you ar right…that video was HOT…loved it. # 1817 | Mischa ] I’m a longtime lurker, but AG and others ignore other posters all the time. Its always about the in-jokes. It can make the atmosphere of this forum feel cold to ‘outsiders’————————————————–I disagree with you, when I found JJ Site and started posting, I did not know anyone but as time go along I started interacting with the other posters and getting into the different discussion/topics regarding BAMZS, yes there are some people here that became close friends and they interact with each other, so what. I have met some really good people on this Site and I don’t feel left out, If other posters ignore me or something that I posted. This is a Site when BAMZS fans come and discuss our favorite family and even make friends with other posters, but we are not looking down on anybody.
# 1830 | Alexanderina | ITA.. i guess we are supposed to feel guity about this
any semblance of cliques on this blog is a product of the imagination. everyone is free to correspond with and respond to any post that’s up. people respond to familiar names or someone who has directly addressed them. some people respond because they agree or disagree with what someone else has posted. it’s not like we’re sitting in a high school cafeteria with "special" tables. you can jump in whenever you like.i have noticed since i began posting here that it’s all about what time of day you happen to be posting. i don’t get home from work until late evening. i rarely chat with rudedog, rica, rizos, because they’re all signed off by the time i log on. but PT, guli, CHM and Original jpf are often around. i just chat with whoever is on and if i have a message from one of the earlier posters–and i happen to see it–i respond.
# 1709 | bluaquame hey, i remember u…i’ve been going back in forth at ea to get an update of your fanfics but you disappear…what happened??..man…i missed your fanfic…are u going to update or start a new fics??? please….imho…if you want to post your fics here at jj, please post it in bamz old thread that are not too many comments are posted or maybe if it is too much steamy, maybe you can post it again in ea…just my suggestion…but welcome back and i will be waiting for that fics…he! he! i love bamzs fanfics….and thank you in advance!!
# 1830 | AlexanderinaI concur even though I don’t post that greater in length. I love reading yall’s inputs.
I got this off BlogNYC, it was very interesting:Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Spawn the Most Beautiful Baby in the Universe; Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pittby James Poling I guess their plan worked perfectly. All along Brad and Angelina have been waiting for me to go on a three day drinking binge, watch the Yankees rout the Royals, bbq and memorialize the servicemen and women who have fought and died protecting the rights of Hollywood’s elite to have their baby in Africa, to give birth to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.Yes, it’s true, as of Saturday May 27, the Brangelina spawn has arrived. In what is possibly the most anticipated birth since Jesus himself, Shiloh and mother are said to be doing fine.Angelina’s estranged father Jon Voight told the NY Daily News that he is, "really excited for them both. He can’t wait to hold the baby in his arms and be grandpa." Which I’m sure made Maddox and Zahara feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Umm, Jon…technically you’re already a grandpa, or does passing through Angelina’s birth canal quantify it for you?Calls to Jennifer Aniston’s barren womb have gone unreturned
Yo # 1833 | jjoy , how’s it going? Last time I checked was that bluaquame’s fic was on the royalty thread.
# 1831 | QQQQ - I guess we are lol :)
# 1827 | Mischa no actually that’s my job..see I’m the polizia here..you are more than welcome to stay as long as follow the rulz…do not insult the regulars, do not whine when someone does not respond to your post, say only positive things about BAMZS and above all if you have any problems with other bamszters contact the polizia first…otherwise be prepared to feel the wrath…
