On the C-section topic I agree with you. To me its really a non-issue. Some women have lower threshold of pain that if given the choice they’d rather do a painless one. In the Philippines C-section is consider as a last resort unlike some countries where there’s a choice and you can schedule unless due to complications you’ve been advised early on. But doctors by policy normally try the normal delivery route first. My sister went thru more than 24 hours of labor even if she was advised beforehand that she should be ready for a CS procedure ‘cuz her baby is big (her baby was 9.6 lbs) and there were complications early in the pregnancy yet the doctors waited & tried to have the baby thru her birth canal until she demanded to go ahead with the C-section because she’d been in labor for too long…..

#2278: actually I heard on Access Hollywood that her baby was delivered by a local doctor, although that had had an American one flown in just in case, but he wasn’t needed.

To Mediterranean,I consider Moi Jade an expert, she is a Registered Midwife who has delivered so many babies in this world. I know this from reading previous threads on BAMZ then +1.

Secondly I don’t care if you believe I am an expert or not or that I am really pissed off right now at people who are so obnoxious on subjects they really don’t know about except through their own expereinces or through gossip.There is nothing "normal" about having a c/section in the middle of the night anywhere from a medical point of view. No responsible physician would schedule a c/section for "privacy" even if it is AJ & BP for papparazzi reasons. That is ridiculous. These are people not gods and to physicians they are parents not actors. This is about the safe birth of a human life that is totlly dependent on it’s survival by the people who are surrounding and guiding it’s life. This birth or any birth is NOT about hiding out from any paparazzi. I have caught the babies of several figures with high public profiles. It is against medical practices to alter any safety proceedures outlined by laws that are overseen and governed by policys of a hospital and the International Medical Practices of Physicians in a forgeign country. There are huge liabilties in the Obstetrics field and the proceedures are clearly outlined for those of us that practice Obstetrics. I am a Certified Nurse Midwife, a Perinatal Labor and Delivery Nurses for High Risk Pregnancys, and an Air Transport Nurse for High Risk mothers who need to be transported to Level 3 hospitals to deliver their babies. It pisses me off that some one like exe who has nothing but hate for Angelina Jolie to come here with her dirty mouth and spit such ignorant BS. You should be pointing the finger at exe and not me. And as far as the trip of a Dr. from the states…I just flew home from Europe…….Paris to be exact Saturday night……and could not even spend more than an hour with my family before I passed out,You have never flown to the states obviously as it is 11 hours from Paris to San Francisco and Africa is quite a bit farther. And that is just Plane time not boarding time, customs time……travel to the airport time or the 9 hour time change.No Dr. could fly to Africa from the USA and do a surgery with the time change. I don’t speak from my own personal birth experiences or what I read in some magazine. Delivering babies is my livelihood and has been for over 20 years. So you make your own judgements on what you want to believe, doesn’t change a thing for me. I will go to bed after having just returned home a couple of hours ago from having caught a beautiful baby boy. I will go to bed content and happy regardless of what anyone here believes or not.

If something happened and Angelina Jolie started to bleed out and needed blood in the middle of the night………you have no idea how many people are necessary to run an operating room with a major maternal hemorrhage occurring. To fly blood in the middle of the night……or transport her to a more facilitated hospital is insane.Thank You for your words of support . I am responding to that idiot and the herpes issues which is just WRONG. My perspective is going to be much different because I am on the side of the medical mind which is not subjective and is very complicated andgoverned by policies, standards of care, and laws. When we talk about a human life that is entering our world and has no say in what happens to them, is totally and completely dependent on trained and hopefully ethical people and parents to ensure their safety……. I have a hard time listening to some of this stuff that people say like having a c/section is like going to have your teeth cleaned. Until you witness a mother in birth who looses her babybecause the shoulders are stuck… or a mother just did a few more lines of cocaine or meth and blew her placenta and caused her baby to die and herself from almost bleeding to death..would you understand that physicians do not do c/sections which is It’s just to real to me. I’m sure Mediterranean misunderstood.Personally, I think giving birth is risky whether there are no complications during the pregnancy or the mother is considered high risk. As what the old folks say, "a woman giving birth has one of leg in the grave". Anything can happen. I have a friend whose wife gave birth to a healthy baby by CS since it was a placenta previa. Aside from that they didn’t notice anything wrong because she was closedly monitored and the ob-gyn waited till she was in her 37th week for the procedure. Everything was fine up until 2 hours later while the mother was still in the recovery room the baby was put in the ICU because he had difficulty breathing. The baby passed away 9 days after. So I have high respects for people in the medical profession especially in your field because with babies so many things are so uncertain.

I also stated that Brad would not have special priviledges because this was a legal issue and he would have to conform to whatever the law was-There were several types of adoptions listed-One was step parent adoption-he didn’t fit into that category-The other was non-married adoption -this would be the category-Instead of rehashing everything here, I’ll write a quick article and post it-Blu-You rock -Love the video

# 2288 | malaya |That is so sad. I am sorry for your friend and his wife or anyone who ever looses a baby. It’s awful. Doctors just don’t take those risks if they don’t have to. So much of what is coming out on BAMZS right now I take with speculation. There is so much BS on them a we are not ever going to know the truth until either of them speaks on it..so much of these stories are just that stories. Same ole same ole. ..Oh well. I just hope the world looks at BAMZS for the family they are , like the rest of us in heart… instead of some circus oddity to continually make stories up about. I wish them much respect and peace . They are good people. Did you see Blu Mystiques video…….against the world? She did a great job on it and really summed it up in her video with all the tabloid garbage.

to MOI JADE,I believe that I also "pissed" you off (as you said somehow) with my comment about you, I am sorry. I totally misunderstood, pardon!But I still insist that you are making such a big deal concerning C-section and scheduled C-section in the middle of the night. Why not? You mignt be very ethical person when it concerns your job, you won’t change your point of you about it, like my first dr who insists that I should have a normal birth. Because there was nothing wrong with me!I wanted just to have a C-section, because I didn’t want to go through pain. I just change my dr who respects my wish who also happens to be the most well known and respected specialist in France.There are thousands of women who give SAFE BIRTH under the circumstances you will not approve, but they do and both mother and kid are still alive and live happily after.My mother gave a birth to my eldest brother who is 51 one at the hospital. Because of the experience she had through, next birth she gave at home and to me at the private clinique. She hated until now what the medical team put her through at the hospital.OK these are people’s personal experiences but isn’t it so normal to consider the experiences as a guindance?If a mother-ot-be needs a C-section in the middle of the night as an emergency case, what would you do? You do what you are expected to do at your best, right? So (let’s say) if one of C-section is scheluded to have a C-section with her own wish, you CERTAINLY believe that there won’t be any dr will do this operation?Tom Cruise shuted off every single person in the room hospital because of his "strange" belief. The medical team was using hand signals (is that what you call in English?) This world comes to point that some people who has money and power will find a way to get what they want, even it’s against you ethical way.But gosh, moi jade, you remind me of my first gynaecologist and obstetrician who lectured me hours and hours for a normal birth for 5 months! They do them of course in the middle of the night because they have to…they just don’t PLAN them at that time. To many reasons to state here.2. Herpes is no longer a reason for surgery unless there has been no prenatal care. 3. In America anyway… major surgery is not a pain management option. Epidurals are.Oui, I was pissed at you too….. because it was not nice what you said. But I forgive you and think your country is BEAUTIFUL ! I had a very good time in Paris.
