Given Vince Vaughn’s recent success with landing punch lines, there was considerable hope that if anybody could inject a little zip into the stagnating romcom, he’d be the guy to pull it off.
And he still might — one of these days.
In the meantime, there’s "The Break-Up," a major disappointment of an anti-romantic comedy for which Vaughn shares producer and story credits in addition to sharing the screen with real-life squeeze Jennifer Aniston.
Bottom Line: Don’t Believe The Hype
That’s one big OUCH from The Hollywood Reporter! BURNED. Will fans flock to theaters for The Break-Up anyway for the former Friends star? My apologies Joy the part about professions was with regards to 2lame, who said they were an electrical engineer. And just for the record im not American. On the whole me being a bad lawyer because i call a child spoilt that means im going to be a bad lawyer does it lol,, please! Yeah, because i referred to a child (who is often seen misbehaving in public and sticking his tongue out at people) spoilt my intellectual and legal abilities will be compromised, lmao. Brad Pitt and movie goers agree: she cannot compete on any level with Angelina Jolie. So have a little sympathy - even if you think its all her own fault.

Joel Steinberg was a lawyer, but yet he beat his wife Hedda for yrs and he killed his daughter Lisa Steinberg. They are PLENTY of lawyers sitting behind bars today. That all I have to say about the "lawyer",,,Does Jennifer do ANYTHING besides get a tan and chain smoke is the question because she seems too self absorbed to care anybody else. Aniston is a self-involved, self-centered, woe-is-me - little girl. I’m happy her movie has bombed - she should just stick to tanning and hair salon visits - those are the only activites she seemd to excel at. JA looks absolutely fantastic! Wow - wish we could all look 25 when approaching 40! Body, face, hair, sparkle eyes…whew - gorgeous.
It will not be the end of the world if the movie bombs or if she and Vince are not an item. She is still filthy rich, very pretty and with extraordinary appeal. She’ll have other men flocking her and other movie offers. She is a natural comedienne. Very talented.
did i say that AJ was a saint? i admit kissing her brother was weird. as for that comment about her giving birth in a hut…that was just too stupid an observation for me to comment. if could afford to have the best medical care possible, why would you want to give birth in a hut to prove that you empathise with the less fortunate? gemma, you just don’t make sense. as for her meal in that restaurant…who cares about the cost of it? is she not allowed to enjoy it? should she feel guilty because she could afford it? who said that she wants to be like them? she is trying to better their lives. as for maddox sticking his tongue out…if you had the paps following everywhere you go, would you not get sick and tired of them? do you not act out in some way with people that you don’t like?i agree that there are a lot of people out there that don’t get the recognition that they deserve. I’m thinking she might want to cut back on the sunbathing for about a year, maybe invest in a really great hydrating product – the Ren line at Kiss & Makeup is great – and start doing something about those lines. I recall her saying that they were going to have children after Friends was over. Then after it was over, at the same time he was filiming the movie with the *****, he statrted pulling away from her and making himself emotionally unavailable. So she was smart not to have kids with him. How many people go ahead and have the child and then get divorced within a few years? And she was right because if Brad really loved her he wouldn’t have gotten involved with somebody else so quickly. It shows what a selfish prick he is. I don’t even believe he loved Angie. In an interview with Matt Lauer, shown on the night of the last episode of Friends, he asked JA about her future plans. She said she wanted to “travel and see the world before I have a child.” So she supposedly wanted a child, but with another condition, after she traveled more. And why did she have to wait until after ‘Friends’? Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox were both pregnant while on the show. In the sitcom world, if a main character is pregnant; don’t they usually just hide it or write it into the script?I don’t think anybody really cares about her reproductive status. It just seems that her actions never matched her words.

She signed for a 10th year of Friends and then signed up two more movies. She did not keep her part of the agreement. It can be assume it was because he wanted to have children. But 6 years later JA still could not find the time to have a child.
