If you look at her upcoming projects, especially the "producing" credits she has on IMDB, it’s all because of Brad Pitt. Since plan B was "their" production company, she gets to be associated with The Departed, Running With Scissors and A million little pieces. Would she have gotten those on her own merit?But Jennifer is having the last laugh. As a matter of fact she’s laughing all the way to the bank. Hollywood studios throw millions at her for doing $hitty movie after $hitty movie. Watch, some studio will give her $20 million for doing The Senator’s Wife, which seems like it should be on Lifetime TV instead of the big screen. Her main competition in films is Sarah Jessica Parker, Sandra Bullock, Claire Danes. Jennifer Lopez is even better than Aniston in her romatic comedies like The Wedding Planner, Maid in Manhattan & Monster in Law.

poor jennifer, i am really hoping the movie works so she could stop the act, claim success and finally jump the couch at O…for vince’s sake too, who i loved less than The Rock in "Be Cool" but more than Owen in ‘Crashers," i hope he breaks even.

Variety says the film is not the "boisterous comedy" one would expect from ads, and calls it "relentlessly unpleasant" and "ill-conceived virtually from the opening frame." The Hollywood Reporter labels The Break-Up "a major disappointment of an anti-romantic comedy" and predicts the audience will give up on it long before its "tacked-on" ending. At a recent press conference promoting the movie, Aniston talked about filming on the heels of her 2005 breakup from husband Brad Pitt. "It was definitely therapeutic," she said. "It was also all happening at the exact same time with my – you know." She continued, "At first, I thought it was a joke when I got the phone call from my agent about a movie called The Break-Up. I said, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me.’ But after reading the script, I thought there was no better way to heal than through laughter." At the movie’s May 22 Hollywood premiere, Vaughn, who is also a producer and writer of The Break-Up, said of the film, "I feel great. The response has been so good, the movie’s very funny, and it also has some real moments in it."

Of the "Friends" who made hit movies, Courtney Cox did it in ensemble Scream movies, Lisa Kudrow did it in ensemble Opposite of Sex (great movie and her best role) and when playing her same TV character in Romy & Michele’s Wedding, and as small part in DeNiro and Billy Crystal’s Analyze This & sequel. Mattew Perry did it when paired with Bruce Willis, but his earlier attempts flopped. Teh others were embarrassments on film. Matt LeBlanc stuck with his same character and couldn’t make it work on TV.Notice how all of them went away from movies, have done theater or just regrouped, waiting for the images of them as their characters to fade to come back. Not overly stuck on herself Jen. And she keeps making a mess of her career and an ass of herself personally with each successive attempt, and dragging down good people with her.

funny lainey (laineygossip.com) once thought a Tom Cruise - JA pairing would be heaven on smutty earth.since they both worship the gym (and he dislikes vitamins as much as she dislikes to choose good movie projects) and both on the way down, why, a TOM - JENNIFER MOVIE is something i would cajole my friends to see with me! i would even pay for their tickets!last night watching the (yawn) trailers of break-up, i failed to see how the highlight, JA walking naked to the sala, could entice the 85% who never saw her previous films. she didn’t look sexy at all from behind…and i mean to say it un-disparagingly.

Plan B had Aniston’s name on it because Pitt put her name on it back in the day but she was never involved with it. In fact I don’t even think she went to it’s offices except for a handful of times.Thus, the rub for Pitt and Grey. They had to pay her off for something she was never involved anyway.

Ok you guys really really must have nothing better to do than to always be hating on Jenifer Aniston. # 101 Frency, that’s the problem with some people, coz they make statements which are completely false just like their idol JA, where did you get the info that she is going to be paid US$ 20 in the Senators wife? She was only paid US$ 7 m in TBU, I think her asking price is now US$ 9m, and in fact, I think from the gossip she has been calling BP beacuse they want to reduce her fee, as you know, her track record for the last 3 movies have been bad. If not for BP’s pity, I don’t think the studio will even go ahead with her as the star in that movie.

Whoa. Aniston fans can dish it but they can’t take it that’s for sure. To call comments on a message board a trend might be a bit exaggerated. The bottom line with Aniston is that the consumer does not want her or is interested in her. That’s just a fact, a reality by her past 3 flops. Her fans should go out and support her but I think they have and it appears there really isn’t many of them. Vince Vaughn’s fans will help this movie but like Aniston he has a very small window of talent to work with. Not sure people take seriously Vaughn in a non comedy leading role. He always plays the same character in each of his films. Same ole guy from Swingers and this will be somewhat different but from the reviews he’s still doing it in some scenes.I don’t think people are understanding this either but the movie is not a romantic comedy. It’s a dramady and has been marketed wrong.

# 106 | Oh My I was being sarcastic when I wrote that Plan B was their company. That’s why I put in quotes. But many of the fanistons can’t wrap their minds around the fact that it’s Brad Pitt who got her projects. Fanistons swear that X made Brad Pitt and not vice-versa!!. When Brad married X it was a major step down from Gwenyth but for X it was 10 steps up. A generic TV star known for a haircut married an A list film star. Well it’s good bye to all of that.
