Given Vince Vaughn’s recent success with landing punch lines, there was considerable hope that if anybody could inject a little zip into the stagnating romcom, he’d be the guy to pull it off.
And he still might — one of these days.
In the meantime, there’s "The Break-Up," a major disappointment of an anti-romantic comedy for which Vaughn shares producer and story credits in addition to sharing the screen with real-life squeeze Jennifer Aniston.
Bottom Line: Don’t Believe The Hype
That’s one big OUCH from The Hollywood Reporter! BURNED. Will fans flock to theaters for The Break-Up anyway for the former Friends star? Jen does not need Brad Pitt.. she did fine before and she will do great without him. FYI maybe Jen realized Brad Pitt would be a bad Dad. If Brad moved from Gweneth to Jen too quick then what do you call moving from Jen to Angie? He is following the same pattern. Their relationship is all about kids. It will probably go bad in a few years too. (By the way…I love Angie!) I think her and Brad are not soul mates, though.

Angie is doing a lot for the poor countries but so are a lot of other people who are not as rich as her and don’t get the credit. Angie and Brad love this attention! They pretend to want privacy but they really don’t. They will say they are doing this to give attention to an African country. But, they also thrive on the attention.
It is sooo obvious that their relationship is about children. He adopted so quick and they got pregnant so quick. He was "dying" to have a family. They need each other right now because they are both on the kid thing. That is like any relationship. You both need each other for something. For them it is the kids. I can just see it. And, she is exotically beautiful. He is simple. You figure that one out!
