My very last Jen postThanks to all Jen fans because I tried so hard not to despise JenA and I think I’ve succeeded. When I first came across this blog around 4 months ago, I was a BAMZ + 1 lover. So, for the past 4 months, I’ve been reading posts from all the BAMZ + 1 lovers (African girl, cindy2, stef, Passing through, Remember da truth, hmmmmm (sorry, the Real hmmmmm), Moi Jade, malibumom, etc.). As a result from all the insightful, articulated, clever BAMZ posts, I realized that my love for BAMZ was becoming bigger and bigger every day. Why? Because, the BAMZ regulars give me reasons everyday why they like Brad and Angie, they give me link to articles talking about BP&Angie’s work, they show me pictures of BP&Angie with they kids, etc. As for JenA, I always thought that I was indifferent to her. But, around three weeks ago, I was talking about Brad and Angie and, my sister made me realize that I wasn’t that indifferent to JenA and, actually, I despised her. So, I decided to come to JenA threads and read about her from her fans. I wasn’t hoping to love her, but since reading from BAMZ fans make me love them more, I was hoping that her fans can make me change my mind about her. In the Harper Bazaar thread, I even asked JenA fans why they love her so much. So, why do Jen fans love her:1. She’s brave (How? By throwing a pity party for more than a year, as if she was the only one who went through a divorce). She conducted herself with class (never heard about how Nicole Kidman conducted herself during a painful divorce). She’s honest (please, read the Vanity Fair interview and the Vogue, you will have some examples of the honesty). She doesn’t have a mean bone in her (What about the VF interview?). She’s down to earth (her biggest regret in life was to cut her hair). She’s the girl next door (she’s an actress fully loaded with money, chain smoking and gambling, 37 years old, married for 4 years with no kids, acting like a 12-year-old). She’s a good friend (yeah, using her friends to do her dirty work). She’s funny (hello, that was Rachel Green character lines written by talented writers for Friends).2. She’s gorgeous. She has beautiful hair. She has a nice body. Her boobs are fantastic. She’s cute. And the new thing, she has amazing legs.
