Wentworth Miller Picking Up Mail
West Hollywood, CA :: Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller, 33, was all smiles as he recently picked up his mail (he reads US Weekly!) from the Miracle Mile Finance Station post office on Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles. Prison Break resumes filming in the Dallas area in nearly two weeks — June 15! More pictures in the gallery!

Went goes to my post office. I actually have seen him a couple of times when i’ve gone to pick up my mail. He is amazingly beatuiful in person and incredibly nice and grounded. Mostof the time he goes unnotice by some of the folks there, but of course not by me.

I can relate to that…I’m a black female in her early 30’s & I’ve never shaved my legs a day in my life (my girlfriends don’t believe me). My legs and arms are hairless except for my outer arms that have a very fine fine layer, you can barely see it.
neither have i, wentfan. i’m black too and i’ve never shaved my legs even once. and truth be told, my legs are smooth as silk (not bragging, just being real). people seem to forget that despite went appearing "white" on the surface, he is half black. you can see his heritage in a lot of his features, including that gorgeous ass of his—just enough, not too much! yummy! lol

his dad is not half-black. his dad is black. went has never said his dad is biracial, just black with a mixed background like the majority of black people in this country. bottom line i’m black yet i could say i’ve got irish, french, jewish and german ancestry. it’s all in my background but that doesn’t mean i’m biracial. both of my parents are black with some of that background mixed up in there.

Kira, actually my dad went to school with his dad. One of his parents was white, one was black. Dad says that his dad could actually be biracial as well, he was very ligh skinned.
That wasn’t clear. I meant Went’s granddad could have been biracial as well. That’s why he looks so "white", he is mostly "white".

lizard, your dad went to school with went’s dad? i’m curious where this was ’cause i know someone who knew his dad from years ago and says that went’s father is NOT biracial. if went’s grandfather AND father were biracial, went’s father would have been 1/4 black and went 1/8. if that were the case, went would not have any of the black features that he has which are really noticeable if u know what to look for. i’m not trying to get into a back and forth thing with you but i’m from a VERY light-skinned family so i know what i’m talking about. if you were to see some of my cousins, u would swear that one of their parents (my uncle) was white. he isn’t. people are always assuming that my cousins are biracial and they aren’t. from what i heard, went’s father is not biracial.

Even all their kids have some black features eventhough all their other parents (my sister in law and brothers in law) are white as ghosts. You can mostly tell my heritage from my hair and my skin tone. All I’m trying to point out is - genes are tricky. You can’t pinpoint one thing and make a generalization like that because it just isn’t so. We should just learn to love the beauty in all colors, shapes and sizes rather than argue it’s validity.And I’m done.

jenn, you said your great-grandmother was african, not black american. there’s a lot more white blood in the average african-american than in most africans. so it stands to reason that say the great-grandchild of an african and a white person might show more black features than the great-grandchild of a white person and your average african american, who already has considerable admixture.look, i’m done with this whole issue. my mother is creole background which is why i say the things that i do. someone went’s color wouldn’t even get a second look among many blacks, he is so common in creole families. and not just creole black families but in general. there has just been so much mixing with black americans that people like went aren’t that unusual.

Yes, my great grandmother was African, from Northern Africa, moved to Sicily where she met my great-grandfather and had 10 kids, only lived in America for about 20 years before she died. So I see where you’re coming from.I LOVE Creole history! It’s so beautiful. And yes, Went is very very common-looking in mixed/creole families. I come from a city where seeing someone who looks like him walking down the street is commonplace, and I love it.

Hey Jenn! Where d’you live, cos I am moving there. NOW! LOL. Agree with all the comments about how beautiful Went is looking, of course. I do just have to take exception to the comment that he ‘uses this race thing for attention’. Rubbish! The only time he ever talks about it is when he is asked about it directly, and then he is just open about his racial heritage. It would be impossible for him to handle the issue with more class (as is true of just about everything for him).
About the hair issue, Wentworth said (Good Morning LA maybe?) that he had to shave his chest and arms before they applied the faux tattoo. So, I don’t think he is naturally hairless. And, when he was in The Human Stain, his chest and belly had patches of hair. And being multi-ethnic has nothing to do with the amount of hair you do or do not have on your body; part of my ethnicity is African, and I am extremely hairy. Maybe I can blame that on my German lineage.The ethnicity issue, I feel the only person who can define ‘what’ someone is, I that person. If Wentworth’s father says he’s black, we need to respect that. Why argue? I am multi-ethnic and I can’t stand it when people expect me to stand in line and claim allegiance to one ethnicity, I have four different ones (that I know of) running through me, why should I abandon three of them? And speaking of, has anyone seen pictures of his family? I would really love to see what his parents and sisters look like.
There were pictures of his father (or at least someone who folks assumed was his father) that surfaced on TWoP. Also, there have been pics floating around of one of his sisters, who appears to be a bit darker than Went, very pretty, of average weight, etc. From what I’ve heard, there haven’t been any pictures of his mom that have surfaced.

Erm Lawyer,I just mean that I couldn’t care less if Wentworth Miller is gay or not. He looks good, and that’s all there is to it, right. I’m just a girl who knows that she’ll never get involved with Wentworth just because I’m not a celeb. So All he has to do to keep his fans happy is to look good. And what Went does in his private time, well, that’s private, right?
I’m going to have to be honest and say it would definitely make a difference to me if Went were gay (even though there is no chance in hell of me hooking up with him). Is he or is he not ? I have to say this crossed my mind. For why is a man that hot last had a meaningful relationship in 2004 and only lasting a few months???
