Angelina Jolie on the Beach

Angelina Jolie pulled her loved ones closer and took advantage of a break in the weather in Namibia. Angelina, Maddox and a friend took a walk on the beach near their resort on May 6 (three weeks before Shiloh was born).  Said an observer: "They looked like any normal happy family."  In the backdrop is the "Oyster Bar" that the whole Pitt family ate at the weekend before last. Send bigger and better InTouch and Star scans this way!  Yesterday, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt released a statement saying,  “We would like to deeply thank the staff of the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital for all their kindness and commitment in assuring the successful birth of our daughter.” The couple’s obstetrician Jason Rothbart, M.D., was assisted by the local staff of the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital. "Angelina underwent a scheduled cesarean due to breech presentation," Dr. Rothbart said. "The baby was a healthy 7 lbs. Brad was with Angelina in the operating room the entire time and cut the umbilical cord of his daughter. The surgery and birth went flawlessly. The staff, nurses and doctors I worked with at the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital were amazing, it was a team effort."

"We’re still waiting."I don’t know why but as soon as I read that I started to LMAO. Don’t know why it’s funny but it’s funny. Hey atleast the reviews of the movie are funny, if not the movie itself. ;)

Shiloh was born early Sunday morning in Namibia. In the USA because of the time change it would still have been Saturday. But the correct date for them and what will be on Shiloh’s birth certificate will be May 28th 2006. She wans’t born in the USA. Peoples birthdays are usually on the day they were born from the place they were born. That’s what is recorded on all the records and documents.

* still Saturday night in the USA

I knew the reviews were going to be bad, but I didn’t know it would be that bad. I just went to rottentomatoes and the quotes I read from the reviews were so bad, I didn’t have the courage to read the whole review. Another bomb i guess.

I think cinthia Guagenti is abble to report the birthdate corectly..so, Shiloh was born May 27th, 1.40 pm local time..gemini, ascendant pisces, so she may be indeed the peaceful one. And another good thing, shiloh is born in the same with Lily Rose Depp, Johnny’ s daughter, even around the same hour..and she did turn out a very gracefull girl, taking vanessa’ s looks(there’s hope for angie’s beauty to be passed to her daughter, after all) and more important, despite the odds, her parents relationship proved very solid..so 27th may seems a very good day for destiny.God bless Brad & Angie’s love!

As TIME (#504) mentioned, Shiloh’s birthday is on 28th of May, 2006, Sunday. She’s born in Namibia and birth time was 01:40 (am) very early in the morning or let’s say right after the midnight. It does NOT matter what time was in the rest of the world when she is born. The time at the place she was born is important for the offical papers.Last sunday of May is Mother’s day in France, this year which happened to be 28th of May. Shiloh surely made her mom and grandmom so happy.

SHILOH … is the Israelite city where HANNAH’s prayer for a child was heard and granted by GOD Below is a beautiful story taken from the bible that mentions SHILOH.source: http://www.silk.net/RelEd/hannah.htmHANNAH’S PRAYER by Theresa Doyle-NelsonSETTING: About 1070 B.C. in a temple in the Israelite city of Shiloh. The left side of the stage is the “temple” area. The two chairs with the basket in between them are on the right side of the stage creating the “home” of Hannah and Elkanah. The baby doll is concealed within the basket. Hannah is kneeling down in prayer in the temple. The rest of the actors are offstage, waiting for their cues. NARRATOR: Hannah was an Israelite woman married to a man named Elkanah. Although Elkanah was a good husband and loved his wife very much, Hannah was still very unhappy. She wanted desperately to have a child. So far, God had given her no children. This made her feel sad and empty. One day, while Hannah and Elkanah were visiting the city of Shiloh, Hannah went to the Temple to pray. While she prayed to God, she made a very special promise. HANNAH: (Pleadingly.) O Lord, if you give me a child, I will soon give him back to You; neither wine nor liquor shall he drink, and no razor shall ever touch his head.(Hannah continues to pray, however, quietly, with just her lips moving. The priest Eli enters the temple and looks at Hannah suspiciously.)NARRATOR: Hannah continued to pray quietly. The priest of the Temple, Eli, noticed Hannah. He couldn’t tell that she was praying and thought instead that perhaps she had had too much wine. ELI: (Angrily.) How long will you make a show of yourself? Pull yourself together!(Hannah is startled by Eli. She then stands up to talk to him.)HANNAH: (Imploringly.) I was only pouring out my trouble to God.ELI: (In a much more patient tone.) Well then, go in peace and may God grant you what you ask.(Appearing tired, Hannah leaves the Temple while her husband Elkanah goes onstage to meet her centerstage. They stroll to their “home” area on the right side of the stage. Eli exits the stage. Hannah and Elkanah sit down on the chairs at their “home,”)NARRATOR: Hannah felt much better after she poured her heart out to God. (Hannah begins to smile. Elkanah is happy to see her at peace once again and smiles as well.)NARRATOR: She and her husband returned to their home in the town of Ramah, and before long, Hannah was blessed with a baby boy. (Hannah takes the baby doll from the basket. She gazes lovingly at the baby. While Elkanah looks on cheerfully.)NARRATOR: Hannah and her husband named their baby boy Samuel. They loved Samuel with all of their hearts. However, Hannah remembered her promise to God and knew that one day soon, she would have to give Samuel back to God at the Temple in Shiloh.(Hannah looks toward heaven, remembering her prayer and promise to God.)NARRATOR: Finally, when Samuel was old enough and no longer needed Hannah for nourishment, it was time to take him to the Temple.(Hannah sets the baby doll back in the basket and Samuel as a small boy enters the stage and goes to stand by Hannah.)HANNAH: (Lovingly.) Oh Samuel, you are growing so fast!ELKANAH: (In a serious tone.) Hannah, it is time for our yearly pilgrimage to Shiloh, and Samuel is now old enough to come with us. Remember your promise to our Lord … we must leave Samuel with Eli, the priest at the Temple.HANNAH: (Somberly.) Yes, you are right. It is time.(Narrator waits while the family makes their journey to Shiloh. Hannah, Elkanah, and Samuel exit the stage from the house side, walk through a small area of the audience and then return to the stage on the Temple side. Hannah and Elkanah appear downtrodden during this “journey” while Samuel appears oblivious to their sadness. Meanwhile, Eli reenters the Temple to wait.)NARRATOR: Although it was very difficult for Hannah to relinquish Samuel, she knew it was important to keep her promise to God.(Hannah, Elkanah, and Samuel approach Eli in the Temple and quietly present Samuel to Eli.)HANNAH: (Sadly.) I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted my request. Now, I in turn, give him to the Lord.(Hannah gently shoves Samuel towards Eli. Hannah then begins to weep and buries her head in her hands. Elkanah gently guides her offstage. Eli begins to pantomime giving Samuel instructions about living in the Temple.)NARRATOR: When Hannah and Elkanah returned home, Samuel remained in the service of the Lord under the priest Eli. Hannah never forgot her son. Every time she and Elkanah made a pilgrimage to Shiloh, she would visit Samuel. God rewarded Hannah for her sacrifice by blessing her with five more children. When Samuel was a grown man, he became a wonderful prophet and judge.THE END

#476 and # 478 | C. Usually in the morning, I just try to read all that went on while I slept. These two posts are BRILLIANT! For those who [like I do sometimes] read backwards…..don’t miss these posts - succinct and to the point. I wish someone in the media would pick these posts up - they are THAT GOOD!# 482 | Be sane uh huh……there you sit, with pain au chocolat, on vacation and here I sit with coffee [very good, I will admit], no bread [not even toast!] and all you say is sorry! :-P Are you having a wonderful time? What did you do in Norway? Travel tales always welcome by the statebound you know. ;-)

#510 HannahBeautiful.Shiloh - Brad’s Prayer for a child was granted with Shiloh.

# 511 | Original CuriousHey! Well if it’s any better I’m not here on vacation but work, but on work/vacation Paris is a great place. I just went to get that pain au chocolat and the "artisan" boulangerie had a cup of coffee to go. I guess commuters just grabs that and head to the metro. I was in serious need of "un cafe SVP" and oh boy. Sorry… :) In Norway I was also on work trip and in fact I was on radio (music). I also visited a very far north, 1 hour north of Tromsø which meant as close as I would possibly get to the arctic circle. I also ate fish, fish and more fish than I would ever imagine. It was in Norway I saw the news on BBC regarding Shiloh’s birth! Now I learned it was scheduled c-section! My second was a scheduled c-section as well and oh boy that was way easier than the first…. Now that boy is in his "terrible two". He screamed about 3 hours on the plane from New York, and half way on I basically held him for the entire time, while watching…gosh… Rumor Has It!!! Jeez.

MISSOURI FANyour prayers are lovely. this family needs them. actually, we all do. thanks for being beautiful in an ugly world.

Another One @ 06/01/2006 at 8:36 am

Shiloh creates a whole new celebrity baby-name category: one inexorably tied to Vince Vaughn’s motor-mouth dialogue and wooing charms. Bear with me.For those who want the literal breakdown, “Shiloh” is Hebrew for “quiet” or “rest,” and “nouvel” is French for “new.” Quiet New Jolie-Pitt? That works, given that she’s the pair’s first biological child and the couple went out of the way to put media silence on the birth by heading to Namibia. But it could be one more pulled string by Vaughn, who seems to have obtained magical power of influence over Pitt’s life.Everyone knows how Pitt became interested in Jolie - on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” which co-starred, that’s right, Vaughn. He saw the writing on the wall, knew he would be filming “The Break-Up” with Pitt’s then-wife, Jennifer Aniston, and when he got on that set, turned on his charm. Now, Vaughn and Aniston are an item (Jennivince Vaughniston?), and even a year removed from Pitt’s presence, he’s still manipulating Pitt’s mind. There must have been a “Manchurian Candidate”-like mental cue in “Wedding Crashers,” activating Pitt’s brain. Remember when Vaughn’s womanizing Jeremy confesses his love for nutty Gloria? He says he’s crazy, too - maybe not on the surface, but he had an imaginary friend when he was little. They played checkers every day, and, bless his heart, the friend always let him win. That friend’s name?Shiloh.Vince Vaughn - comedian, raconteur, puppet master. Crazy? Sure. But at least I’m not the one naming kids Reignbeau. Why, Ving Rhames, why?WILL IT EVER END?

hahahahaahaahaaa @ 06/01/2006 at 8:38 am

OMG. I love that name, "reignbeau," pure genius!

JA obsession @ 06/01/2006 at 8:44 am

As BAMZS fans, may I ask why you keep mentioning JA’s name, her moviews, her quotes, etc etc? Would make it appear that AJ fans are obsessed with JA. Let it go. She is Brad’s past history so don’t keep bringing JA up in a AJ thread.

The Break-Up @ 06/01/2006 at 8:50 am

The Break-up is more about Vince Vaughn. He co-produced and co-wrote the film. If you like Vince go see it. I will for that reason. I will not let JA’s existence sway my life in any way.Forget JA…don’t let her get under your skin. Move on.

#520 Anon:I disagree. Take a look at the last couple of page postings. No hater even surfaced. BAMZS fans were the ones who started posting TBU movie reviews, started spouting JA’s supposed quotes from tabloids, brining up about dry uterus, etc.Just move on for goodness sakes…
