Angelina Jolie pulled her loved ones closer and took advantage of a break in the weather in Namibia. Angelina, Maddox and a friend took a walk on the beach near their resort on May 6 (three weeks before Shiloh was born). Said an observer: "They looked like any normal happy family." In the backdrop is the "Oyster Bar" that the whole Pitt family ate at the weekend before last. Send bigger and better InTouch and Star scans this way! Yesterday, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt released a statement saying, “We would like to deeply thank the staff of the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital for all their kindness and commitment in assuring the successful birth of our daughter.” The couple’s obstetrician Jason Rothbart, M.D., was assisted by the local staff of the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital. "Angelina underwent a scheduled cesarean due to breech presentation," Dr. Rothbart said. "The baby was a healthy 7 lbs. Brad was with Angelina in the operating room the entire time and cut the umbilical cord of his daughter. The surgery and birth went flawlessly. The staff, nurses and doctors I worked with at the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital were amazing, it was a team effort."

hey guys, whats new? any gossip since i left about 300 posts ago!!!!! crazy! i was scaning the posts and there are the front covers of the us mags, any good pictures in them? or are they on the web, also you guys said angie is out of hospital, thats a good sign, she must be recovering well, i am pleased! i bet shes running after madd soon enough! also alicia said about them doing a documentory, is there any added news on that? it sounds really cool if thats the case! it had better make its way here, or at least be on line, here is too hope anyway!

They really had a chance to be like normal kids and a normal family in Namibia, which they wouldn’t have gotten in Malibu. They could relax and hang out and not be bothered, just like normal folks. This is great! SO happy for them!

#567 GuliAfter reading that review, it reminded me of rea life and tv. How you may ask. Well sounds like how Brad and Jennifer meet. Cheap date where they ended up sleeping together. How can anyone go out on a date for the first time a sleep with someone? How much can you really get to know in a matter of hours? Cheap Date. Then they moved in with each other. WOW (sorry if I stepped on somone’s toes -MPO)To movies/fantasy, they’re in love with each other then it falls apart and there’s this hate or maybe hate is to strong of a word. Well they fall out of love. Doesn’t this sound like MAMS? They want to kill/break up with each other but they are really still in love with each other. Doesn’t this plot/storyline sound familiar? Does to me. MAMS I tell you but with a little more comedy, or they hope it would come across that way.Didn’t early reports say they (test audience)wanted the ending changed to the two getting back together? Now if the ending turns out that way, I would have to say a remake of MAMS but without the chemistry.What do you think #567?

Greeting BAMZS freinds!OH Gee….there is going to be so much info coming out it is going to be hard to keep up.I am still relishing in the birth of Shiloh and happy everything went well for everybody in Namibia. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be them. Angelina wanted to have her baby in Africa and she was blessed having the country’s support and protection. I am sure everyone is on cloud nine. It’s one of my favorite times seeing families together a couple days after a baby is born. The newness and elation a family feels when a new baby comes. The balloons and gifts. I am so happy they got thier privacy. l malibumom l LOL!!! That was a funny story about the bath!You aren’t the first to walk out on a career in nursing…….LOL! l Be sane l Sounds like you are having a great time! I gained at least 8 lbs while abroad. My take on it….baby was carrying breech all along. Dr. flew in earlier than the due date……usually about 37-38 weeks and tried an external version to turn her. It didn’t work so they went ahead with the c/section. Did it in the middle of the night for privacy and probably gave her some timeto see if the baby turned. Usually if they turn their is still a good chance it will flip back to a breech. I have seen babies flip back when the mama was 5-6 cm. Just a guess though. TBU sounds pretty bad. I don’t care anyway. I think I was secretly wishing it would do good so JA could have her "moment"and find her own pages without showing up on every BAMZScorner. The media is just cruel..but I have to agree with "C" (great post btw) she brought it on herself. No pity here.I agree with ole Jack Nick. Keeping your private life private is essential in a movie career. This whole thing is just unbelievable….with the baby being introduced on the eve of the movie that will put JA securely in the back seat….some kind of Karma going on.

# 634 | maggie | ITA- The thing is I really think Brad was on the rebound and I read in many places that it was their publicists that wanted them to meet and see if they would hit it off. It wasn’t like falling in love at the first sight or fate brought them together. In some countries they still have it ,an arranged marriage not truely based on LOVE but mutual interests. I think at the time their relationship made sense but it was more due bowing to Holywood and making a pseudo golden couple. I think they were more friends than really in love. I’m sure they loved each other like friends (but after all the friggin pity parties, I doubt that BP would ever want to stay friends with the X). Re: TBU- from what I read whether they changed the ending or not, it’s not worth seeing. But, I also believe that, it was the producers of TBU that timed it so the movie came out at the same time as our Shiloh was born to take advantage of it. I’ll be so pissed off if AJ’s father goes on TV interview and uses her as a pubicity for his new movie. If he does that, he should just kiss goodbye to ever seeing his grandkids!!! IMHO:)

why are we so shocked that brad pitt cut his daughter’s umbilical cord…everyone acts like that was up there as an act of God. The father is SUPPOSE to be in the delivery room…

# 642 | brashgirl |Fathers don’t usually cut the umbilical cords in a c/section. You have to be scrubbed in to be around the surgical field. Fathers usually sit at the head of the OR table by the mom with surgical drapes that block their vision from what is going on and to protect the surgical field. If he cut the cord then he must have been scrubbed in just like a doctor. That is not the norm.

Wow - thanks for that bit of info Moi Jade. That just goes to show you how symbolic, and intense these two are about each other and their children. Angie wanted him to be a part of everything, and he wanted to as well. Let’s face it - if not for Brad, I doubt Angie would have ever even had biological kids - that’s how much she loves him.
#635 EstelleI don’t think so. After the reports how she gag or something like that when they asked her if she would watch baby CoCo she replied that’s what a babysitter is for. I surely can’t see her taking care of a child for at least 18 years. Another PR stunt for the movie. I wish I could do an online bet. This chick ain’t havin no baby!!! If this movie tanks I feel she will definetly try to go a focus HARD on her skills because she wants to be a Star and having a baby will interfere with that.
# 646 | guli | Me too! But I have been in on 100’s of c/sections over the years. Use to assist on them too back in the day. Now I just do mostly natural childbirth but still go into the OR’s whenever one of my mom’s has to have a c/section. I can’t ever remember a dad being scrubbed in really. But hey it’s Africa and I think they were willing to be more laxed there with everything.

Come on guys, this man has been waitin for a kid for how many years? I think he would do whatever whenever to see this finally happen. He seems to be intense about everything he does. Take Mad, he goes all out for this little boy, he LOVES Z. Did you catch the look in his eyes when they were in LAX going to Japan premiere. This man is sensitive, secure and HOT!I would only expect this behavior from the Brad! That damn Angie she is sooooooooooooooo lucky. Wish I had a guy like this.Where’s everybody at?
