Jennifer Aniston Buys Tracie Martyn
Tomorrow is shaping up as a pivotal day in Jennifer Aniston’s movie career. If you don’t already know, she’s opening in "The Break-Up" with unofficial real-life boyfriend Vince Vaughn. The reviews are scathing; the movie is said to be terrible. If Aniston’s built-in audience doesn’t show up tomorrow night, there’s going to be trouble.
According to the Internet Movie Database, Aniston has a couple more comedies and a thriller on the horizon. Unfortunately, the material doesn’t look terrific and except for George Hickenlooper, the directors attached to the projects aren’t very promising.
It’s hard to say what’s gone wrong here: in person Aniston is a friendly, generous soul who so far has not played the diva card. She’s accessible and amiable.
If "The Break-Up" is really as shrill and annoying as the advance notices indicate, Aniston may really have trouble attracting audiences in the future. She really should take a page from the playbooks of Goldie Hawn and other actresses who needed custom-made material to get out of ruts. And fast!
Aniston fans gotta band together this weekend! After the jump is Jennifer Aniston leaving the Tracie Martyn Salon earlier today, which is located at 59 5th Avenue (bet 12th and 13th St.) British import Tracie Martyn is known as the go-to girl for age-defying facials — "The Facialist to the Stars". Its not anything personal against Jennifer Anistion–bu she honestly is a VERY mediocre actress. All her roles is Rachel Greene over and over. She has absolutely no acting range. I can’t judge her character because I don’t know her, but the public can judge her work. And so far she has done sub par work. I wonder if other more talented actresses are a little P.O.’d when Jen gets all the attention and movie roles when they are the ones that have respect for the craft.
Uh… Lisa Kudrow also won an Emmy for Friends. I like Jen, but this movie looks awful. X-men which will drop 50% from its massive opening will still kill it.
Mr Realistic, go back to school and study up on your grammar. that was almost painfu to try and read
spewing the same repetitive BS you do on other sites here at JJ I see….I disagree with everything you say. I continue to be an Aniston fan, a VV fan, and I will see this movie. I think the early reviews of many movies are often way off the mark.
# 31 | MR. IS tamp… Then what are you doing here? Go and support J.A. and bring all the people you could possibly get. Hurry up! It might be her last chance to prove something. LOL
that is why i hate pity party. some people dont pay attention to the film. Only a save their idol.
You are so right, she’s cute. For example, M/M Smith early reviews: "Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie look like they had a terrific time making Mr. and Mrs. Smith — but I certainly didn’t have a good time watching it. Neither, I suspect, will many of you."– Michael Wilmington, CHICAGO TRIBUNE "Their much-hyped kiss-kiss, bang-bang movie is an expensive time-waster, full of slow-motion explosions and big-scene payoffs that turn out to be duds." — Stephen Whitty, NEWARK STAR-LEDGER "Pitt and Jolie make sexy sparring partners, but they can’t lift this leaden material."– Peter Travers, ROLLING STONE "Mr. & Mrs. Smith is an action comedy for suburban women that’s as toothless as a newborn, and nearly as stupid."– Kyle Smith, NEW YORK POST "Have we lost our minds and souls so completely to celebrity worship that drivel like Mr. and Mrs. Smith can thrive and prosper?"– Andrew Sarris, NEW YORK OBSERVER "The studio must have reasoned that Jolie and Brad Pitt are movie stars, so anything they do would be seen as fun and attractive — and what could be more fun and attractive than their trying to kill each other and just about everybody else in the movie?"– Jonathan Rosenbaum, CHICAGO READERetc.etc.etc.Mr and Mrs Smith: Embarrasing display… 4/22 MR. AND MRS. SMITH underestimates…
Check out JJ’s next post about BRAD….Thanks JJ. Finally a little more honest balance here. I’ll come back more often
Leave aside the preposterous idea that professional killers, each of whom maintains an arsenal of weapons on their suburban property, could live together for six years without realizing they’re in the same line of work."– Lawrence Toppman, CHARLOTTE OBSERVER "Failing to make a commitment to character development or genre, Mr. & Mrs. Smith feels like a bad relationship that goes on way too long."– Susan Tavernetti, PALO ALTO WEEKLY "Like a relationship you may want to think carefully about committing to, it puts you through an awful lot to get to the good stuff."– Bob Strauss, LOS ANGELES DAILY NEWS
For MMS , At least the reviews were 60% good and 40% bad from RT . You chose to only list the bad ones .. too bad you are as dense as the rest of the JA fans who "only choose to see what you want to see" asides from rating .. the fact is box office numbers for MMS was well close to $500 Million worldwide …that’s numbers TELLS IT ALL !!!http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/mr_and_mrs_smith/as for Breakup , RT shows 18% good ,82 bad reviews. Statistically, that is majority has poor reviews on TBU. I’ll say a little prayer for your JenJen and hope that she get her break with this one …LOLhttp://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/10005561-break_up/
Here’s More: Seems clear that Mr. and Mrs. Smith made it for one reason only, the obvious one: Leave aside the preposterous idea that professional killers, each of whom maintains an arsenal of weapons on their suburban property, could live together for six years without realizing they’re in the same line of work."– Lawrence Toppman, CHARLOTTE OBSERVER "Failing to make a commitment to character development or genre, Mr. & Mrs. Smith feels like a bad relationship that goes on way too long."– Susan Tavernetti, PALO ALTO WEEKLY "Like a relationship you may want to think carefully about committing to, it puts you through an awful lot to get to the good stuff."– Bob Strauss, LOS ANGELES DAILY NEWS– Staci Layne Wilson, FANTASTICA DAILY "With no glint of interpersonal chemistry, Mr. and Mrs. Smith is sent off to hobble on crutches of weak one-liners and weaker shoot’em up scenes."– Mike Ward, RICHMOND.COM "So maybe the tabloid-crashing Pitt-Jolie friendship emerged out of the shared torture of having endured Simon Kinberg’s script"- Phil Villarreal, ARIZONA DAILY STAR the joke is funny."– Jeff Vice, DESERET NEWS, SALT LAKE CITY " "Just about worth seeing for the chemistry between its two stars … but the overall glossiness is designed to blind you to the fact that there’s very little substance here."– Matthew Turner, VIEWLONDON "Misses by a country mile…This charmless, bombastically overproduced picture generates plenty of carnage but remarkably little excitement, romance or fun."– Frank Swietek, ONE G ETC ETC ETC

You can report the number AFTER the movie is released, but it’s meaningless until then. More reviews to come for TBU. Besides I never listen to movie critics much. I like to think for myself, how about you?

An oddly plump Vince Vaughn teams with an aging Jennifer Aniston for a likable ro-com romp that shows you just enough promising material to break your heart with the realization that it won’t deliver more…..At least Vaughn makes you laugh, while Aniston’s character has almost no personality. If the tabloids are correct that the stars are a genuine item offscreen, Vaughn owes Aniston foot rubs for at least a month for the way he shamelessly upstages her at every turn. –The ARIZONA DAILY STARWow. Here’s the rub. To the person who listed all those fabu actresses (Angie, Halle, Charlize, Reese, etc) — Aniston is NOT them, and will never be them. At some point you have to recognize that it just can’t be done by certain people. Film stardom isn’t in the cards for every TV actor — if it was, Ray Romano and Patricia Heaton would be making 20 mil a film and raking in the Oscars. Not everyone can be Bruce Willis and George Clooney (by the way - two people who were on TV but did dramatic work, NOT sit-coms..and who by the way, were TALENTED)
# 40 | TO the number people like gossip. though i am a fan of angie, i think MMS benefited from the gossip. and i feel sad. i am a movie fan before actor fan. i also dont believe review. you believe for yourself but dont deny this movie also benefits from the gossip. i Only dont like this situation
These Brangelina fanatics do so HATE. They believe that if they tear Jen up that will make the fact that Brad and Herpes Holie cheated go away somehow. They have to make Jen out as the BAD guy in her marriage when clearly it was the Cheat Brad. Actions speak louder than words…….they had barely seperated when he was openly sleeping with Jolie in some African motel with her kid in tow. What he DID with her , he will do TO her. Karma’s coming. I wouldn’t be surprised if this baby wasn’t the ugliest kid on the planet ….would serve them right!
1. she love to tan , tan tan2. she love her hair, hair stylish , hair extension, hair hair hair3. she love coke, smoking, smoke smoke smoke4. she love to manipulate SO DOES BRAD PITT-Bull….AJ is younger now…..wait and see how much crap she does to keep her youth…not that there’s anyyhing wrong with that but she’s just as interested in her looks as any vain hollywood actress…..she does get her top lip injected to match the natural bottom, does sh!t to her skin, never mind the war paint tatoos to ""decorate" her body., AND she’s had implantsbs, nothing wrong with any of that so shut up about JA and give it a rest. So you see, AJ is ‘ just as vain as the rest of "hollywood". Wait and see what she does now that her tats are bagging and she’s had a child. Again, nothing wrong with it but I bet she tries to hide the fact that she does. Let me also point out that as rich as JA is, if she was that obsessed with tanning, she’d get her own tanning bed in her own mansion and no one would see her go to the tanning salon and shut you people up about how much she tans. She’s Greek you idiots, she’s naturally dark not pasty white like others we know. Like my skin is olive and once in the sun for me makes me darker than my friends who layout day after day.
Man, her hair is so dark in those pics - way darker than Angies. It almsot looks black on her neck - how much peroxide does that woman go through?? Sheesh!
and i watched MMS on DVD.
#18 GerriBroken up, I think NOT. There were many photos of then cuddling last weekend in Chicago at the ball game.

TO ALL HATERS!1) Angie is NATURALLY beautiful. DEAL w/ it FUG-ISTONS.2) That baby will be as well - I guarantee it right now. Angie and Brad being gorgeous themselves and very modest - would not have commented on their kids looks if she was just an ordinary scrunched up looking baby — the fact that they did…tells me EVEN *THEY* are IMPRESSED.3) BRAD WILL NEVER CHEAT ON ANGIE - FACE FACTS DUMMIES…if he NEVER CHEATED w/ MANISTON aka TOOTSIE, even when obsessed with and DREAMING OF ANGELINA 24/7…why & HOW on God’s green earth is he going to step out on Angelina, a woman who has unselfishly given him all that he’s ever wanted, is his dream woman, a talented OSCAR WINNING ACTRESS, and happens to be one of the most beautiful women in the world??The HATER LOGIC is soooo hilarious, and pathetic.
I liked Jen’s acting in The Good Girl. Her delivery in Friends was enjoyable for years. I was howling with laughter over Vince in Wedding Crashers and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I think I’ll go check this movie out and see if it does anything for me. I can hardly trust reviews though it would be nice if anything these days could get a decent chance with a reviewer. I enjoyed Derailed though it upset some. I also thought the chemistry in Mr. & Mrs. worked though the sex and violence theme is overplayed the acting was believable, the directing was pretty much ok though I suppose indie and foreign films (Akira Kurosawa my favorite) have jaded me a bit to the main stream directors.Vince and Jen are both really funny people on film and tele, talk shows even they are pretty decent with a comedy…I guess I never took a side in the divorce of Brad and Jen but she and Vince have pretty big comedy talents. They are just really great personalities. That isn’t to say that there isn’t chemistry in both matches. They are all "well out of it" with regards to the tabloid break up though I have to imagine.
let me add they also hope against hope that JA will just go away so people will FORGET that Brangelina cheated their way into each other and all the nasty feelings people have for them will vanish. If she is a terrible actress than Brad SHOULD have left her. If she isn’t as pretty as Jolie than Brad SHOULD have left her. If she hasn’t won an OSCAR, Brad SHOULD have left her. They think like children, or perhaps immature women who also got involved with a married men who sat around waiting for them to come around and screw them again while making up things in their little brains about how EVIL the wife must be. When the evil resided in them and the cheating husband. Which, I’m sure they found out too the hard way when he never left his wife. boo hoo. But, somehow Brad the cheat will stay faithful to Herpes Holie. Nah….once a cheat always a cheat.
