I fricken’ HATE Katharine Mcphee!! She wasn’t even pretty when she was younger, just a spoiled fat, lazy brat with a rich daddy! If it wasn’t for American Idol, she would have gotten nowhere!!!! Her whole "relationship" with Nick Cokas is just a big, fat publicity stunt to draw some attention to herself, just like that whole Bulimia story.

Go cathy go!! dont let anyone critisize you on whom you gonna date, you know from where he has brought you and you have your own reasons why you are together. am sure he is understanding, myself I have a 23yr older man than me and am so proud of it. To “46 ncdude”: Let’s see, you CLAIM to be a 23 year old who makes a 100 grand a year, and then go on to say that a 23 year old woman who sleeps with a 42 year old man amounts to statutoary rape???? Physical age does not necessarily equal to mental age. There will be some that are old but immature and young but mature beyond their years. Age is only a number (with exceptions) and in this case, if they love each other and he knows how to treat her right, what’s wrong with that? She could be dating another gorgeous actor her age…even get lucky to get married, have a kid or two then divorce her for another girl. Having someone pretty doesn’t mean they are good. Her marrying someone her age and attractive doesn’t mean she’ll be happy. If she’s happy with him, let her be happy.

Damn, some woman are judgmental…Emphasis on the mental. “He needs a nose job…” “He looks as if he has an eating disorder…” What is funny is 100 years ago, he would have been the same age and she would have been 8 years younger. The slant is “He is too old for him” but in reality, wtf can a 22-23 y.o. bring to the table except energy? When I was 19 and in the military, I dated a 41 y.o. nurse, and I learned that there is nothing that can make up for 22 years of life. Yes I could go 24/7, but it was I that was lucky to have HER, not the other way around. I had been all over the world, met 2 future presidents (Gov. Clinton and VP Bush) and it was her that was CONSTANTLY teaching me.

From all of her (Katharine McPhee) interviews, she seems intelligent and sweet…BUT lacks the sophistication that only AGE can bring. Maybe he likes construction projects…Maybe she needs a father figure…regardless, stop blaming HIM, or her for that matter.

This relationship will never last….what were you thinking Katherine? You married way too young!!!

You must have been really immature and idiotic at 22, because you see yourself at 22 when making criticism.
And by the way, he looks nothing like her father. He looks pretty young, and very handsome.
