OlderBrad & Angelina Press Conference
Swakopmund, Namibia :: Angelina and Brad Pitt confirmed Wednesday that their newly-born daughter Shiloh Nouvel will have a Namibian passport.
"Shiloh will receive a Nambian passport, so we shall return," Pitt said at the couple’s first public appearance since the May 27 birth.
The Hollywood glamour pair spoke to local journalists at a press briefing at the four-star Hansa Hotel in Swakopmund at the edge of the Namib desert where Jolie gave birth by Caesarian Section.
"We couldn’t have picked a better place to have our child," said Jolie, looking healthy and relaxed in a black dress. Pitt agreed: "We are very proud that our daughter was born here".

Pitt said the couple had "done their homework" before deciding on Namibia as the birthplace of their first biological and third child.
"The health of our daughter and Angie’s was imperative. We’ve had absolute top-notch medical assistance," Pitt said.
The couple reiterated their gratitude to the people of the sparsely populated country, which has come under intense media interest since their arrival two-and-a-half months ago.
"We are eternally grateful to the Namibian people," Pitt said. "Namibia is one of Africa’s best kept secrets - until we came of course."
The couple had been "afforded a lifestyle here we could not have anywhere else" and that Namibia has been "a wonderful place to be with our kids."
The couple said they planned to remain in the country for just a few more days before returning to the United States. "Just a few more days. My mother is dying to see the baby," Jolie said.
On the tight security around the couple, Jolie said they had wished this had not been necessary but felt "the birth should be done in a way that was peaceful."
Pitt explained that having "a child with a bounty on its head" before its birth, had brought about the need for bodyguards to shield the family.
On future career plans, Pitt said he would begin work on the latest in the Ocean movie series in August while Jolie planned to concentrate on the needs of her three children - the newborn and four-year-old Maddox and one-year-old Zahara.
The couple were accompanied by Namibian first lady Penehupifo Pohamba (pictured above) regional governor Samuel Nuujoma and Child Welfare Minister Marlene Mungunda as they spoke to journalists for about 30 minutes, posed for photographs and signed autographs.
A day after their daughter was born, the couple announced they would provide 300,000 dollars for the refurbishment of hospitals in Namibia. Jolie, a United Nations goodwill ambassador, discovered Namibia some years ago while filming a movie there. [AP]

The money that is going to charity is the amount it is because of Angie’s fans. We should all be happy that our "obsession" has raised this much money for charity. Great job Angie for being astute enough to get the money and thank you to all the fans. We may be obsessed but it has become an incredible way to help those in need. By the way, it is our money that will be buying the magazines that will be reimbursing the media for the large fee. Angie is the leader of this charitiable group. She has figured out how to make us help others in need and we dont even know we are doing it. lol!!

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Mad, Z, and Shiloh have another little sibling in the not too far distant future. Especially as Angie has decided to concentrate on being a mommy while Daddy Brad brings home the bacon. I know to an extent how Angie’s feeling having nursed my two children(plus the additional pain of a c-section) but oh the aching tender breasts and incision. She is wearing a nursing bra and probably could not wait to get back to the baby and nurse. I well remember the days when I would look down and have leaks of milk no matter how many pads I used. She looks much better than I did for a month.

Because if Angelina and Brad had not given one red cent your statement would have been, "What ‘farce’ Angelina really is. Hiding away like a princess in a castle resort, in a remote part of Africa. Look how much she cared about them, she didn’t feel obliged to give them any type of compensation for their protection". You see what I mean? off topic…can anyone help, i got thenew dvd of mams, and i must say fanbloodytastic! but i was trying to find some of the extras like the target shooting footage…where is it? also there seems to be more on the screen caps pages on here than i can find on the dvd… are they on it, am i losing my mind trying to find these added bits… are they even there? oh on another note! brads bum was worth every penny i paid to get this!

I think people see that word and automatically identfy it solely with the physical when it’s as much about the private and personal, and the inseparable. You can tell they are probably a couple who lays in bed in the middle of the night just talking, and communing with each other, and I also think they’re a couple who are also very comfortable when not talking. In one of Rica’s fanfic chapters she wrote about how fictional B or A (I forget which one it was) hearing that click, and the sound was that of the puzzle pieces fitting into place, and I think that is exactly what happenend in real life with them.jpf
