OlderBrad & Angelina Press Conference
Swakopmund, Namibia :: Angelina and Brad Pitt confirmed Wednesday that their newly-born daughter Shiloh Nouvel will have a Namibian passport.
"Shiloh will receive a Nambian passport, so we shall return," Pitt said at the couple’s first public appearance since the May 27 birth.
The Hollywood glamour pair spoke to local journalists at a press briefing at the four-star Hansa Hotel in Swakopmund at the edge of the Namib desert where Jolie gave birth by Caesarian Section.
"We couldn’t have picked a better place to have our child," said Jolie, looking healthy and relaxed in a black dress. Pitt agreed: "We are very proud that our daughter was born here".

Pitt said the couple had "done their homework" before deciding on Namibia as the birthplace of their first biological and third child.
"The health of our daughter and Angie’s was imperative. We’ve had absolute top-notch medical assistance," Pitt said.
The couple reiterated their gratitude to the people of the sparsely populated country, which has come under intense media interest since their arrival two-and-a-half months ago.
"We are eternally grateful to the Namibian people," Pitt said. "Namibia is one of Africa’s best kept secrets - until we came of course."
The couple had been "afforded a lifestyle here we could not have anywhere else" and that Namibia has been "a wonderful place to be with our kids."
The couple said they planned to remain in the country for just a few more days before returning to the United States. "Just a few more days. My mother is dying to see the baby," Jolie said.
On the tight security around the couple, Jolie said they had wished this had not been necessary but felt "the birth should be done in a way that was peaceful."
Pitt explained that having "a child with a bounty on its head" before its birth, had brought about the need for bodyguards to shield the family.
On future career plans, Pitt said he would begin work on the latest in the Ocean movie series in August while Jolie planned to concentrate on the needs of her three children - the newborn and four-year-old Maddox and one-year-old Zahara.
The couple were accompanied by Namibian first lady Penehupifo Pohamba (pictured above) regional governor Samuel Nuujoma and Child Welfare Minister Marlene Mungunda as they spoke to journalists for about 30 minutes, posed for photographs and signed autographs.
A day after their daughter was born, the couple announced they would provide 300,000 dollars for the refurbishment of hospitals in Namibia. Jolie, a United Nations goodwill ambassador, discovered Namibia some years ago while filming a movie there. [AP]

Im just sad I wont get to see the mag before next week. Mine never comes before Tues.. and I know of no stores that will have it before Monday. I hope Jared has the pics tomorrow. And I hope all the family are shown.
What the hell has happened to Brad??? He must have been sick or somethhing coz he looks absolutely AWFUL. He looks ematiated, as if he’s shrinking inside that jacket! That dumb look has been there though, for many many months. I’ve always thought AJ was beautiful - but she looks like a matronly 50-year old. No wonder the gallup poll from 3 weeks ago shows them losing steam in the eyes of the world.

I pity those poor sweet kids…# 564 | Group of Flakes |You don’t have to. Really. They are going to grow with two parents who love them and dote on them. They will get the best of everything and learn so much by traveling the world. Maddox has seen more of the world than you and I ever could. They will have siblings to love and play with. Their Grandparents adore them. People all around the world wish the best for those kids and their parents. Also, if you think Angie is a bad mother, then how do you explain Maddox growing up to be so "sweet". Angie has raised him on her own since Maddox was a baby. He has never been in a fatal accident (God forbid), he has never had a serious accident, he seems to enjoy the world, he loves his mom so much that he can barely let go of her and is always by her. He smiles at his Mom, he sleeps safely in his Mom’s arms. He holds his Mom’s hand. He loves his Mom, Angelina. So don’t pity them. I think those kids rather pity you for thinking with a such a narrow mind that you can’t see the love that Angelina and Brad have for those kids.
I swear it’s Angie’s cleavage that has sent Aniston fans over the edge today. They were probably hoping Shiloh would be a troll, and she turned out gorgeous. Hello My BAMZS friends Oh my word, looks like Jared has been really nice to us…how many threads? Goodness…well that’s it, no way I can catch us now. Aww, look at that beautiful Mama and the proud Papa….God love ‘em. Yep, like clock work, I see we have the usual stalkers….in disguise of course. Now they’re are picking apart her outfit….honestly, I thought I’d heard everything but this….this takes the cake. I’ve not had a baby but I have been around woman who have and I know the only thing on their mind I’d comfort. Come on People, I know you Hate them but you have to pick your battles….I mean really because if you don’t, there’s no chance you’ll be taken seriously anymore….oh well, was just trying to help.Anyway, we landed last night….which was actually our….your morning…Oh men, this whole time difference thing has got me all confused. Okay, it’s just a little after 5 here and everyone is still knocked out, which means I’ve got me at least an hour before the household and choas ensures.Please, please please, if you haven’t seen the MAMS unrated yet….please you have to get it. Why? Okay, let me put it this was, I had four other DVDs with me for a 19 hrs flight and I didn’t open the other three….lol. Now, now no one call me obsessed until you’ve seen it and were able to stop watching it after the first time. Okay the first time, I saw it alone…my sister was sitting next to me but she wasn’t interested…..then. When she got bored, I gave her the laptop and ear phones, so the second time, I saw it without sound mind you (she even admitted that they had chemistry). Third time, I was just going to the select my fav scenes….you know how it is, well apparently the whole movie was my fav scene and on and on it went. Another thing that came out of this was I got to have a nice chat with a french woman sitting by me. She didn’t come as prepared as I was so she reached for one of my mags. Okay I confess, I caved and bought the InTouch, Life and Style mags *Hangs head in Shame* you have to understand it was a long, long flight….and I bought People Mag too…does that help?Anyway, she reached for my mag and we started talking about AJ & BP, I asked her if she ever saw them and she laughed like no…but everyone knew they were they stayed and all. She said she really thinks it’s sad how weAmericans…..I’m sitting speaking to her in french and she says "we Americans" blow things waaaaaay out of proportion. That if anyone who was just coming out of some rock (meaning they’ve not had the chance to know the real story behind the AJ & BP saga) they’ll think these two were "Bunnie" and Clyde. I knew what she meant but pretended ignorance, how so, I asked. She said the Paps may as well be FBI’s chasing after the criminal lovers and we Americans are the people screaming for justice. She said sometimes she’s had to ask herself again, what they have done? Maybe they really killed someone but but the people outside America haven’t heard bout it, it can’t be because people think BP cheated with her….Non, non, non, she vigorously shakes her head. I tried to tell her that….ehmmm well that’s it. She leans into me and asks me to tell her the real scoop, you know maybe there’s something more to it but The Americans are covering it up (you know how everyone thinks Americans are all about cover ups) at this point I am laughing so hard…not at what she saying but at the ridiculousness of the whole thing. Honestly, the woman is right. I know we keep saying they weren’t sleeping togetherbut even if they did….why the mass Hysteria? I told her that well, it’s not everyone who thinks that way and I told her about us here at JJ and our tireless efforts to to defend these people and she shushed me saying why do we have to defend them? Bring out ten. American men and 91/2 of them have cheated. Bring out 10 French men and 11 of them have cheated. It happens but Americans have to make it like these are murderers or rapist or babykillers…..to be quite honest, I was ashamed. I mean it’s not like anyone is condoning cheating but it happens and to have. people carrying on as if we’re dealing with more than what it is, is just Plain Hypocritical. We talked about the baby pix selling for that much money and she said they thought it was the best way to go about it. I didn’t tell her some people thought it was publicity stunt….I mean how could I the woman was already lambasting me about "our treatment of these two" can you imagine what she would have done….You guys will probably be getting the news that an angry french woman threw An African girl out the plane.Okay, I just looked at the time and it past 7…can’t believe it to me two hours to write this…maybe I am a lot more out of than I thought. Oh well, until I work out a schedule….lol, I’d just be popping in and out….take care guys and keep fighting the good fight. Sorry about the long post but I had to put my usual 20 -30 posts in one.

That cover just made me weep you guys. I know Angie says she can shake things off - but for NE to publish that, 1 week after this new mom gives birth is unconscionable. I hope she never sees or hears about it - but that’s doubtful. I’m just heartsick that there are people in the world that would create this kind of sci-fi for profit, on the back of a new mom and her innocent newborn. The sad fact is, I’m sure this is a deliberate stunt to try and steal readership away from People and the mags that will cover Shiloh’s arrival. I could hear the evil twised ***** now in their meeting rooms - what’s THE MOST shocking explosive thing we could come up with that will get the sheeple and brangelina haters to pick up our rags at the checkout line — mind you, I’m sure they’ll have enough of a non-story on the inside so they can’t get sued — a denial, remarks about it NOT being true, and the ‘claim’ being preposterous - but the headline is there to draw people in for the quick peek and/or buy.
