"I think everybody should be pro-love," the 24-year-old singer said when asked about the media that appear to be hungry for signs of a split. Telling Lauer that her marriage of almost two years has been "awesome," Spears denied rumors that K-Fed has been banished to sleeping in the basement. "I think 90 percent of the world would agree that the tabloids have gone a little far with me… They’ve crossed the line a little bit," Spears said, referring to photographers who have snapped her on her private property. "They like to have the person they pick on. I feel like I’m a target…. You have babies at home. And… you have a life. And if you don’t, you have to realize that we’re people and that we… just need privacy and we need our respect. And those are things that you have to have as a human being.”
But my favorite line of the interview is when Britney Spears addresses the incident of baby Sean Preston on her lap while driving: "I can’t go anywhere without someone judging me. I did it with my dad. I’d sit on his lap and I drive. We’re country." We’re country, ya’ll!!!!!! Btw, letting your kid sit on your lap while your driving happens around the world, with different kind of people, rich-poor-country-city. Alot of people just do it in their garage etc. I can’t think of anyone who’s done it on the road (like britney)
Britney lacks intelligence. She is trying to look hot with that hair, make-up, outfit. She doesn’t understand that it only makes her look cheap.

Hmnmmm, remember sitting on my dad’s lap and driving the car and yeah, I was old than Sean P….but those are great memories. # 13 | Susan |Yeah, I am "country" also, and have similar memories..however, I was a lot older than SPF.. and we were on a deserted country road, not a major highwway teeming with traffic. Sorry Brit, love ya girl but.. that wasnt a good excuse.

Anyone else ever notice she turns up/down the ‘country’ when it suits? She’s always had a bit of a twang y’all, but seems lately it’s turned WAY up… She’s never dressed like I’d dress, which is fine, but she’s never dressed quite so poorly either…. It’s like all the money’s gone and she can’t afford anything not sold at Salvation Army or Goodwill for $1 per piece. Crap! I’ll give her that she’s pregnant, but remember when she was photographed months ago when the speculation began…? She looked AWFUL AND she was drinking/smoking…and not covering up SPF with any SPF poolside?! She never quite recovered from SPF when she got knocked up again, bottom line, she’s got more than pregnancy weight on that ass of hers!

When will these so called celebrities ever learn? TYhe majority of ppl want to see successful ppl look successful-we want to see married ppl look madly in love with each other -we want to see celebrities who are gorgeous all the time and perfect mothers. . .That’s why it’s call celebrity-They protray unreal situations as if they are and we buy into it-Britney, Janet, Madonna, Mariah and a lot more should have learned by now-Overall the more down to earth- wholesome-and beautiful a celeb is the more attention they get-You don’t have to look like a plucked chicken, bare your breast on National TV, do oturageous things onstage or wear hideous overly cheap looking outfiits to promote your beautiful voice-What’s even worse is the PR machines are dying in Hollywood-Cindy G and Pat Kingsley are two the best-It’s terrible-=Back in the day one could take a Norma Jean and turn her into a marily monroe just by teaching her to walk, talk and dress as well as planting a few seeds in the media-Stars were bigger than life at that time-Why?Because they were well groomed to be-Diana Ross and the Supremes, the Jackson 5 all of them were groomed-that’s why they did so wellBut when they made too much money and started to "have it their way" they lost their battle with the public’s view of them-Britney is doing the same-Call me Girl, I could get you your status back!
Gosh - Justin has to be seeing this and thanking his lucky stars that he got out when he did. I’ve never liked this girl, even in her hay day. And yes I was a teenager growing up at the same time as she was popular. IMO, she was always ugly.Never really understood what people saw in her, but then I realized that it was mostly middle aged men with wifes that found her attractive. Really guys are pervs.And this is comming from a guy.But god she is ugly, this is one ***** that needs to straighten up. #1, I totally agree with you. Britney’s making country folk look like Anna Nicole smith trash. There are "country" people who have alot of class. And britney just does not represent proper country folk. Yes, maybe her dad drove her on her lap… in the COUNTRY. But Los Angeles is NOT the country. How can you be foolish enough to do that? And she looks ridiculous in that photo where she’s sitting across from Matt, her belly smushed and smiling like that evil bald guy on that movie, um, the one where Britney was actually on… had "little me" on it. I’m from Louisiana, I would like to think that we aren’t country. Although I have traveled a bit to New york and other cities that I love. While I feel like I personally am not country Britney is correct there are sooooo many country people here. They are just not aware of how country they are. I can remember when I was little my mom would put me on her lap and drive in the neighborhood. As I did with my daughter. Maybe it it something about Louisiana. Britney needs to come home and take care of herself. There is something about the people here that you can’t find anywhere else she needs to rest and stay under raps in her moms home for a while. the media is being ridiculous they need to back off what nobody s saying is that the same idiots that are snapping all of those pics are the same ones trying to sue her for there mistakes. If that idiot would not have been on top of her car harassing her and her family then he would have never hurt himself. there aught to be some kind of distance law when it come to celebrities and paparazzi. Good God! She looks horrible, really really badugghhh I don’t know how anyone can defend her. But unfortunately, that will never happen because she craves the attention from being in the public eye. Why else would she agree to an interview with Matt Lauer and put herself out there once again like that for people to just laugh at her? It’s because in her mind she is still "Britney Spears" superstar. The one who was super hot and on top of the charts. Now everyone just laughs at her. If she was in her right mind she’d just go away, but like Michael Jackson before her - she can’t just let it be. Finally someone got Michael Jackson to wise up and leave the country all together. Britney needs to put herself in a self-appointed exile back in Louisianna and focus on getting herself well and taking care of her children. Right now, her career is over. Every day she puts herself out here like this she’s just making herself more of a laughing stock in the public eye.I really think her life totally spun out of control once she broke up with Justin and she’s got terrible people around her just letting her do it. Look at the quickie Vegas wedding and annulment. Then taking up with a man whose girlfriend was pregnant with their second child. If anyone saw "Chaotic" it was clear that Brit pursued him heavily-it wasn’t the other way around. She’s living in some alternate universe where she thinks walking around like some hoochie mama is gonna endear everyone to her. It’s awful. I mean to get pregnant again so quickly, gosh - even poor people can afford birth control or just say no for goodness sake. She’s just a walking disaster and her children are right smack dab in the middle of it.
