"I think everybody should be pro-love," the 24-year-old singer said when asked about the media that appear to be hungry for signs of a split. Telling Lauer that her marriage of almost two years has been "awesome," Spears denied rumors that K-Fed has been banished to sleeping in the basement. "I think 90 percent of the world would agree that the tabloids have gone a little far with me… They’ve crossed the line a little bit," Spears said, referring to photographers who have snapped her on her private property. "They like to have the person they pick on. I feel like I’m a target…. You have babies at home. And… you have a life. And if you don’t, you have to realize that we’re people and that we… just need privacy and we need our respect. And those are things that you have to have as a human being.”
But my favorite line of the interview is when Britney Spears addresses the incident of baby Sean Preston on her lap while driving: "I can’t go anywhere without someone judging me. I did it with my dad. I’d sit on his lap and I drive. We’re country." We’re country, ya’ll!!!!!! Why did she keep comparing herself to celebraties like Julia Roberts, Shania Twain, and Goldie Hawn? First of all, each of these stars have a little thing called class (while Britney has embellished the oh-so de classe for the last TWO years)…secondly, they have staying power and longevity in the industry. None of those women would have stepped up to an interview like that. Who is she targeting as an audience, the National Inquirer or what might be left of her fan base (of which I’ve never been a part).Who coached her? Of course we have the right to judge her - she put herself in our livingrooms for an HOUR and offered ZERO accountability for her mistakes. This only leads me to believe she could care less if baby number one is buckled up safe or not - in the car, in the high chair……K-Fed? By the way, what happened with the Madonna relationship she had going? Madonna won’t even speak to her anymore? Britney, WAKE UP! Even I feel for you!

Britney, Britney, Britney, I did watch the whole thing because it was kind of hard to look away from a train wreck… All I could think throughout the interview was Spit Out that Gum, Pull Up your Shirt and Were is her Mother! I would never let me 24yr old daughter go on TV in that outfit and I sure as hell would have helped her put her eye lashes on straight. If you go on TV to try to get people back on your side and feeling some sympathy for you wouldn’t you call up a your old handler and get some advice first. Well I can sincerely say I hope she gets her brain back after this baby is born and moves someplace that she wont hounded by the press all the time. Good Luck Brit you need it!
STOP, breathe, and count to three. Before we start judging her, shouldnt we stop and ask ourselves why is it that she has to defend her mistakes or stupidity to us. We dont have to defend ourselves to her so why should she have to do it to us? Its just full of hypocrasy. Just as someone mention above about how Britney wants her cake/cheetos and eat it too, isnt that what we’re doing as well. We want our celeb to be human and relatable but when they are TOO human, we criticize it.
Sandy,I disagree with you. I thought it was positive thing that before the interview she didnt get a professional make up artist and stylist to make her all up. That goes for getting a handler, it shows that shes doing this for herself and her family not anyone else. And if she had talked to an advisor before hand, then it wouldnt be sincere or genuine. She would just be saying what she was told to say and what people wanted to hear and not to speak of the truth.
When you become a celebrity figure your entire life is monitored by cameras and media. I couldn’t imagine having to watch my every move pop into news reports and magizines. I think the media has taken her life way too far and there needs to be some type of law reinforced to protect these people. To me its called "stalking" and needs to be dealt with. On the other hand my personal view of Britney is she is in way over her head and has made some bad choices but she isn’t perfect because shes a celebrity she is human just like everyone else. Im sure she wanted a family just like everyone else, but was there no one better to pick from than Kevin? Come on! Look what he done to Shar Jackson Dont you think History is about to repeat its self? But seriously give the girl a break on her so called parenting skills its her first child shes gonna make mistakes what parent doesn’t? The view on her second pregnancy if thats what she wants than that is her business but I know how hard it is to meet all the needs of one child in diapers let alone two. Its like having twins! And why is her weight such a shocker? when you get pregnant you get big I dont know anyone who doesn’t. I wish that people would stop acting like you have to be stick skinny to be somebody, people kill themseleves everyday trying to look like people in hollywood I know I do and it shouldn’t have to be that way. Yes she has said some things she should of thought about before saying them but doesn’t everyone do that? To me people are getting to caught up in these peoples lives so they can escape theirs. Their lives are only different from ours because they get paid millions to say a phrase or sing a verse. To some people theres more important things in life than whos dating who, whos in rehabilitation, and who is getting a divorce. Bottom Line: Celebrity’s are not perfect just because there deemed role models they make choices just like us except their faults are photographed and taped 24 hours seven days a week. What makes them so special? People who wish they could trade them do. But if you ask me I wouldn’t want to be in a celebrities postion because you have no life and when you have no life nothing matters anymore.
OMG! Yeah she messed up but just think of how many people do the same things she does and never has to hear about it…Just b/c she is is in the spot light doesnt mean she doesnt deserve the same respect as everyone else. I know I mess up and Im sure you do to

Justin left her. In order to cope with it, Britney started dressing badly and behaving too openly sexual. She dressed very bad in 2001-2005. After that she met Kevin and he also made her life suck. Yes, both Justin and Kevin ruined her life. I miss the old Britney, the one that was sweet and didn’t dress so ugly. Those guys made her become a bad person, and she was almost perfect in the beginning of her career.
