"I think everybody should be pro-love," the 24-year-old singer said when asked about the media that appear to be hungry for signs of a split. Telling Lauer that her marriage of almost two years has been "awesome," Spears denied rumors that K-Fed has been banished to sleeping in the basement. "I think 90 percent of the world would agree that the tabloids have gone a little far with me… They’ve crossed the line a little bit," Spears said, referring to photographers who have snapped her on her private property. "They like to have the person they pick on. I feel like I’m a target…. You have babies at home. And… you have a life. And if you don’t, you have to realize that we’re people and that we… just need privacy and we need our respect. And those are things that you have to have as a human being.”
But my favorite line of the interview is when Britney Spears addresses the incident of baby Sean Preston on her lap while driving: "I can’t go anywhere without someone judging me. I did it with my dad. I’d sit on his lap and I drive. We’re country." We’re country, ya’ll!!!!!! Britney, the reason why papz and tabloids keep "attacking" you is because they’re making fun of you. You are considered a circus clown to them. Someone they can mock easily. So, dont give them any reason to mock you. Stop looking and acting like a clown! Celebs say they never read the criticisms of them in the media and tabloids. I for one think that it is better to learn what people are thinking of you so that you can improve and not repeat the negative hype about you. This is a people industry! You are trying to please people with your work and you have to show them how much of a fine person you are. They’re paying you to be celebrity. So act like it. You are not a normal person in that you are like the rest of us. Britney is a celebrity. And celebs think, "Well, hey that’s only my day job." NOPE! Once you become a celeb, you signed a contract with the devil! You are now not only going to get your millions and get your fame, but you will also receive the pitfalls. That’s what comes with money, let alone fame. Everyone with money has major problems. And the more money you have, the bigger your problems can become and on way too many different scales.Britney does not know how to handle her fame. Don’t turn into another Michael Jackson, sweetheart. Because the devil is chasing him… and you.
AND ANOTHER THING…Have you noticed that since she had her own kid she is not WHORING out Shar’s kids anymore!!!! I haven’t once seen her out whith them or taking family photos to sell to people!! WTF!!!

I said that i am not a "fan" , sounds like you havnt got kids and have no clue what you are talking about cause if you did u would know that 99% of the time when you have a baby you are doing everything EVERYTHING with a baby on one hip and about 10 things in the other arm….you clean, cook, shop ect. YOU DONT HAVE A CHOICE, she was CLEARLY distraught after the incident happened and the fact that it was caught on camera for the world to see wouldnt have made her feel much better….you cant say that tripping over is as a result of bad parenting skills!!! The gum chewing was very annoying. I was kinda surprised when she brought up Julia Roberts stealing her husband from his ex. I wonder how Julia feels about that.
After seeing last nights interview and seeing what all these ignorant shallow self absorbed people are saying after the fact makes me feel a deep sense of sadness for american people. I’m sure that their is not 1 person upon this earth that can honestly say they have never done,said, or been precieved to do something that cannot be used/twisted to hurt themselves and their spirt. It’s just too bad nobodys cares or knows of these miss conceptions. Is Britney famous YES. Does she have an obligation to us NO. Enjoy her musicand leave the poor girl alone. My heart goes out to her and her family and friends having to live with people that have such disregard to other human beings. I believe in carma and treating people howe you would like to be treated. So to all the haters –you should be ashamed!!!
i am a mom of three of the most amazing boys in the world, and NOBODY is the perfect mother. everyone will make mistakes and unfortunately for her, the position that she is in all of her slip ups and mistakes are going to be caught on camera or tape…i am not a big britney fan either, but i say leave the poor girl alone, who are we to judge? the one and only true judge is God and that is her problem to worry about not ours. how many of you out there have made mistakes that you are so glad that the whole world knows nothing about?…probably all of you….we are not perfect and just because she is in show biz she is not either…give it a rest and leave the girl alone stop being so judgemental and high and mighty…good grief!
Instead of apologizing for (or at least explaining) her parenting mistakes, Britney blames America ("That’s America for ya")?! I, too, sat on my Dad’s lap behind the steering wheel, but when I was old enough to actually hold the wheel and aware that I was pretending to drive, and most importantly, when we were in the middle of nowhere with no other cars in sight. Hello Britney–You’re not in the woods anymore! Driving on Pacific Coast Hwy. (one of the busiest streets in California) with a baby on your lap is dangerous, illegal, and just incredibly STUPID. Plus, if she was wearing those tacky fake eyelashes at the time, I’m not sure it was safe for her to be driving. What a dumb ass! I hope the Paparazzi does ignore her so the public is no longer subjected to such a talentless, unintelligent, self righteous, loser.

Why did she keep comparing herself to celebraties like Julia Roberts, Shania Twain, and Goldie Hawn? First of all, each of these stars have a little thing called class (while Britney has embellished the oh-so de classe for the last TWO years)…secondly, they have staying power and longevity in the industry. None of those women would have stepped up to an interview like that. Who is she targeting as an audience, the National Inquirer or what might be left of her fan base (of which I’ve never been a part).Who coached her? Of course we have the right to judge her - she put herself in our livingrooms for an HOUR and offered ZERO accountability for her mistakes. Britney, Britney, Britney, I did watch the whole thing because it was kind of hard to look away from a train wreck… All I could think throughout the interview was Spit Out that Gum, Pull Up your Shirt and Were is her Mother! I would never let me 24yr old daughter go on TV in that outfit and I sure as hell would have helped her put her eye lashes on straight. If you go on TV to try to get people back on your side and feeling some sympathy for you wouldn’t you call up a your old handler and get some advice first. Well I can sincerely say I hope she gets her brain back after this baby is born and moves someplace that she wont hounded by the press all the time. Good Luck Brit you need it!
STOP, breathe, and count to three. Before we start judging her, shouldnt we stop and ask ourselves why is it that she has to defend her mistakes or stupidity to us. We dont have to defend ourselves to her so why should she have to do it to us? Its just full of hypocrasy. Just as someone mention above about how Britney wants her cake/cheetos and eat it too, isnt that what we’re doing as well. We want our celeb to be human and relatable but when they are TOO human, we criticize it.
Sandy,I disagree with you. I thought it was positive thing that before the interview she didnt get a professional make up artist and stylist to make her all up. That goes for getting a handler, it shows that shes doing this for herself and her family not anyone else. And if she had talked to an advisor before hand, then it wouldnt be sincere or genuine. She would just be saying what she was told to say and what people wanted to hear and not to speak of the truth.
When you become a celebrity figure your entire life is monitored by cameras and media. I couldn’t imagine having to watch my every move pop into news reports and magizines. I think the media has taken her life way too far and there needs to be some type of law reinforced to protect these people. To me its called "stalking" and needs to be dealt with. On the other hand my personal view of Britney is she is in way over her head and has made some bad choices but she isn’t perfect because shes a celebrity she is human just like everyone else. Im sure she wanted a family just like everyone else, but was there no one better to pick from than Kevin? Come on! What makes them so special? People who wish they could trade them do. But if you ask me I wouldn’t want to be in a celebrities postion because you have no life and when you have no life nothing matters anymore.

Justin left her. In order to cope with it, Britney started dressing badly and behaving too openly sexual. She dressed very bad in 2001-2005. After that she met Kevin and he also made her life suck. Yes, both Justin and Kevin ruined her life. I miss the old Britney, the one that was sweet and didn’t dress so ugly. Those guys made her become a bad person, and she was almost perfect in the beginning of her career.
