Jennifer Aniston Engaged?

Time is running out for Aniston to prove she has star power For years I’ve tried to convince myself that Jennifer Aniston is a legitimate leading lady. I give up. After seeing "The Break-Up," it’s becoming more and more apparent that Aniston is just another actress, coasting on the fumes of past success. She makes her sitcom predecessor Christina Applegate look like Meryl Streep. It’s easy to recognize that successful television actors have a difficult time transitioning to movies. "Cheers," "Seinfeld" and "Friends" are excellent examples of wildly popular television shows that, after running their course, left cast members struggling to re-establish their careers. George Clooney is the rare example of an established television star who maintained his success upon making the leap to film, largely because he isn’t afraid to take risks. Frankly, that’s something Aniston doesn’t seem willing to do. Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s a very talented actress. She’s very good at acting like Jennifer Aniston, much in the same way that I’m good at acting like Pat Fawcett. But there’s more to it than that. Aniston excelled on "Friends" because she played a very specific role that exists in most groups — the high-maintenance, clueless bore. We all have this dolt in our circle of associates and we usually try to control how much time we spend with him or her. I once read that anyone who is mean to a waiter is not a good person. That’s the kind of character Rachel Green was — and nearly every subsequent role Aniston has played. (I’ll give her a pass on "The Good Girl.") I think Aniston is a one-dimensional actress, which isn’t in and of itself a bad thing. It just so happens that her one-dimension is sort of a ****. Not in a cool 1980s Dabney Coleman scoundrel kind of way, but more of a "Wow, it sure takes a lot of work to deal with her" way. The odd thing is that Vince Vaughn, Aniston’s co-star in "The Break-Up," is just as guilty of being one-dimensional. However, his dimension is exceptionally cool and engaging. Beginning with "Swingers" and running through "Old School" and "The Wedding Crashers," Vaughn has nailed the part of the shady hipster you can’t trust but always want to party with. I feel really sorry for Jennifer Aniston. She obviously was crushed by BP then couldn’t keep from saying negative things about him–something that is pretty normal with most people but then most people don’t have to heal their broken hearts in public. Then most of her movies failed (glad she finally got a hit but I’m afraid it might be because VV movies are pretty much always hits) and finally, she’s in this relationship with a guy who is obviously not nearly the man Brad is and people make fun of her for it. I really feel very sorry for her and hope she finds someone else who is "right" for her. I also hope she can find happiness that is real. There have been so many reports about her breaking down into tears in front of VV over B. and times he has had to tell her to give B. up. It seems pretty clear that he is nothing but a rebound boyfriend and that also makes me sad for her.

People who don’t care for her, POST in here because it’s a celebrity blog and ALL opinions are welcomed by Jared. Also It’s fun watching Jennifer try to be a big moive star like Julie or Reese, IT’s fun watching her PR moves From PITY ME to IAM A TOUGH COOKIE. How can she call herself tough, when she had the support of the media and fanatics who acted like she was a hero for being dumped. Plenty of Women get dumped everyday, Brad was nice enough not to trash her because I doubt she is a innocent lamb. Also She can’t have a #1 movie WITHOUT a comedic male lead..(Vince, Jim Carey, Ben Stiller) why is that..cause she is boring without a man by her side…People are still talking about her soley because Brad dumped her. YES DUMPED not CHEATED. It’s like Jennifer core friends are one way….

Listen, as much as some of the Pitt fans loathe her, you have NO IDEA how much she is loathed by other actors in the industry right now. NO. IDEA.For instance, Keanu & Sandra would like some publicity for their effort releasing this weekend, but Huvane and Aniston are feeding the media these dumb stories (is she pregnant, battle of the babies, is she engaged, etc. etc.) - she really better ride this out to the bitter end, because unless Vince casts her in The Break Up 2, and every OTHER movie he does…she is toast. People are sooooo sick of this *****. Believe me, I know.

Wasn’t she pregnant during the filming? Intersting. I guess that made it okay though huh cause since she was ‘playing" a character is was "play" smoke and it didn’t get to her unborn fetus?
