Jake Gyllenhaal Hands in Shirt
Los Angeles, CA :: Actor Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted scoring with the ladies at a cafe on Melrose Ave. earlier this week. Jake supposedly was leaving a 2-hour workout with pal Ryan Phillippe at a nearby gym (no pictures from that sweating session, unfortunately). Somebody please translate Jake’s hands curled up under his shirt! If you missed it, below is the video of Jake Gyllenhaal accepting the award for "Best Kiss" at The MTV Movie Awards 2006.

Translation…..Jake feels slightly nervous, uncomfortable, and "on-the-spot". Stretching and pulling on his shirt is a way of preoccupying his hands so that his true disposition is not as obvious. It creates a distraction. Whatever he’s truly thinking or feeling is not something he wants the ladies to know. Jake is a gorgeous man and a talented actor, but I sense that when it comes to women, he can be really shy.
Or really "not attracted", if there’s anything to the rumours. Which would explain why he hooked up with Kirsten Dunst for so long. But man, can he rock a beard. Me likey verrrry much. Grrrowl.

He just came from working out! He was sweaty. Maybe he was just trying to cool off. And maybe he felt all sweaty and funky, and was self-conscious bcz he probably had BO. Poor Jakey! Does he not realize that there are perhaps millions who would happily inhale his funk…lick the sweat off him and help him cool down in all sorts of innovative and imaginative ways. Perhaps she offered and he was placing his hand on her should to gently refuse this indulgence. ..or maybe the hand on the shoulder was a "Great. See you later, then!" I cannot believe how delicious he is. Ohhhh, Jakey! What you do to me!

Quite frankly I think it’s all done for the cameras. I don’t think he’s shy around women at all. i think people would love to make it seem that way. He’s nice enuff, i like him an all. He’s not doing anything wrong but people read too much into those pictures. His friend Chris fiddles with his own t-shirt like that. Lots of people do.
