Jennifer Aniston… in PINK Dress

After many stops around the world to promote The Break-Up, Jennifer Aniston was spotted arriving at her Malibu home this weekend with her RAZR, Blackberry, and Bottega Veneta bag in hand.  Jen was also sporting an atypical pink, flowery summer dress.  Yay or nay?

# 148 | Kevin I’m sure she does donate her money to some charities, but I wish she did promote it. There are lots of benefits from celebrities highlighting causes in need. My sis works for a non-profit organization and she has commented that people in fact do donate more if a high profile name is attached. Just the way the world works.

to 150 - I hope you are not suggesting this is either/or. And because Jolie is a self-proclaimed humanitarian she never gets her toenails done. If you are just say so and I will instantly produce the proof of your delusional way of thinking.

I work for a non-profit myself and there are many people who prefer to donate anonymously that this is their right. Their donations are equally appreciated and applied.

Jen cannot go out without her stylist tagging along. Would you say the same of Jolie … think not.

Why is the pink dress crumpled? Wearing crumpled dress is bad luck.

Crazy fools @ 06/21/2006 at 1:47 pm

# 155 | 152 re non-profs Yes, which is a great thing too. I’m certainly not knocking it. But there is good that comes from a celebrity attaching their names to a cause. Just consider that Michael J Fox for Parkinsons, Celine Dion for cystic fibrosis and Bono for Africa, etc. All those causes are highlighted when these celebrities does anything. It’s a good thing no? It brings it to the forefront for people who would otherwise have ignored it. Of course, anonymous donations are great too! I still think my idea of having Angelina and Jennifer get together is a great idea.

Who gives a **** about children? I don’t wish them harm, but I care more about animals and Jen loves animals, hence Jen has my love not Angelina. Who, by the way, is an actress and should either keep doing that or dedicate her life to "help" people, which is just a stupid facade to seem humanitarian, anyway.

# 159 | Pepe ————So Jen prefers animals than children then ha? So that is why Brad left Jen, because Jen prefers pets instead of having Brad’s kids.

#158's point @ 06/21/2006 at 1:55 pm

And I admire Michael J and the efforts of others because as he himself pointed out, there is more credibility in speaking out about issues that directly involve you. My opinion–Jolie just jumped on a train that she thought would help her image image. She is not a frontrunner and she deflects from the good that so many many others have already accomplished in Africa. Anderson Cooper included. She even sought out this interview and I for one, would have felt there was more validity with half of the brangelina. And WTH was that BS about wearing the lowcut shirt to a prison (accident, my a**) with the "know your rights" tattoo visible. Nothing to do with refugee day, but not much she said made much sense anyway.I like Jen Aniston as an entertainer and it’s probably just as well that she gives privately and does not need to embrace a cause to save her image. End of story.

shuttheFup!! @ 06/21/2006 at 1:57 pm

What does this have to do with AJ.. can’t you wild animals wait for JJ to add a picture of the "COUPLE"? Stop ragging on Jen, she looks fine.. oh by the way the interview with AJ was so sad.. could she have said jesus any more times? She is a horrible speaker and she could not make one point! Anderson had to keep jumping in to finish her statement. Pick another child based on the kids? She is SO DOING THIS FOR PR.. sorry read all the blogs.. no one was impressed!! Keep talking AJ, you are going to wind uplooking like britney soon. hahahaah

# 142 | Mike Jeez, dude, you sound so protective. A boyfriend or ex foyfriend of Man? Don’t tell me you are VV.

rev from 161 @ 06/21/2006 at 1:58 pm

Last post should have read that I would have preferred AC 360 program " withOUT half of brangelina trying to latch on to some goodwill for themselves".

to 156 Can’t you really find another point than Aniston gets her tonails done and Angelina don’t. Hihi what a good point of view. That makes Angelina a much better person than Aniston, Whehooo I wish I had as many good points of view as you when I discuss. I Just want to say that I like Angelina Jolie and Aniston as well, but they give money to charity differently and you got to respect that. The money will help no matter how they receive it…with or without to many pedicures

Who gives a **** about Aniston? I don’t wish her harm, but I care more about animals and people love animals not Jenjen, hence Jen has my freaking mid-finger. Who, by the way, is a untalented actress and should either keep killing people with her bad movies or dedicate her life to tan, which is just a stupid facade to see, anyway.

"And I admire Michael J and the efforts of others because as he himself pointed out, there is more credibility in speaking out about issues that directly involve you. My opinion–Jolie just jumped on a train that she thought would help her image image." # 161 | #158’s pointDon’t you think that is very limiting way to think about it? In that case, Bob Geldof and Bono should not have taken up the cause of Live Aid. You might not personally be affected by something but you can research it and you can make it personal. That’s what so great about people being generous. There is more than enough causes for people to feel passion about something. I think you are just stuck on the point that she’s doing this mainly for her personal image. That’s not what I got from watching AC360, but like I said earlier, we can come out of watching something with two different viewpoints. Michael J Fox, said that it was easier for him to select a cause because it was personal. Not that he had more authority or that his words carried more weight. I know the Michael J Fox reference of which you speak and he didn’t say that.Anyway, I’m sure people are sick and tired of this line of discussion. I think the pink dress is a pink dress. What is there to talk about???

Jennifer Aniston @ 06/21/2006 at 2:08 pm

As a matter of fact, I would rather have a pet than Vince’s baby so I’m not ******* him, instead I’ll keeps loving Brad and will love Brad for the rest of my life. (sobbing, pity me)

#161Angelina "jumped" on the bandwagon back in 2001. If you go to the UNHCR homepage and check out the ambassadors–she has a journel you can buy (don’t worry she doesn’t make one penny off of it, so you won’t be supporting her personally–just the cause) and journal entries. She has done more for the UNCHR than the other four current ambassadors which include Georgia Armani and three others put together. She has stated in several interviews that the filming of Beyond Borders and her first trip to the amputee camp in Sierra Leone literally changed her life. It truly is a shame people like you, who do nothing for this segment of the population, sit on your ass and criticize someone who does. She also does use her fame to promote this cause. So what? Were you aware of the extent of the problems refugees face from disfiguring rapes to starvation to AIDS etc., before last night? And if you were, then why aren’t you getting off your butt and writing a check. What have you done to show a little kindness to those less fortunate? Jen supports breast cancer causes, which is fine. Would you think less of her if she used a bit of her fame to promote her charity work? Nicole Kidman does the same thing and her work with breast cancer led to her position with the UN as an ambassador for women. Are you going to put her down if she cashes in on her fame to do some good with it? I would far rather listen to people who are helping others with their fame than a Paris Hilton who is one big parasite sucking leech. This woman is raking money in hand over foot and she does absolutely nothing with it that anyone can see. Several articles have come out lately about how she has reneged on promises to donate or to help causes. At least Jolie has kept her word and is doing whatever she can to help these people. Jen, on the other hand, is wearing a wrinkled pink dress, looking hung over. Gee, if I had to choose between watching Angie or Jen today, Angie gets my vote.

Love Jennifer’s pink dress and toe ring. She’s looking better than ever.I do think the AJ posts are off-topic here. But since her followers brought up the subject….do you wanna see what MSNBC has to say about the birth in Africa? Not every reputable news source is buying her image makoever campaign.COMMENTARY By Helen A.S. Popkin MSNBC contributor Updated: 12:28 p.m. ET June 20, 2006 Allegedly fed up with Hollywood trappings, Beverly Hillbilly Britney Spears is turning her back on the paparazzi, Kabbalah and — as we saw in last week’s Matt Lauer interview — handlers, stylists and self-respect. But like us regular folk, she’s still entranced with celebrity It Couple Brangelina. According to a quickly quashed rumor, Britney had been considering Namibia, the obscure African It Baby birthplace, as spawning ground for Federletus II. OK, a publicist suddenly appeared to deny Britney said any such thing. But c’mon! The Namibia idea is just the sort of hokum that would come out of Britney’s gum-smacking mouth. She’s a follower. She was a Mouseketeer, remember. She followed Madonna into Kabbalah before dumping it to declare baby Sean Preston her religion. No wonder she digs Brangelina’s Rough Guide to Celebrity Child Birth. Apparently, Brangelina’s religion is their baby, too. They did name the kid New Messiah, at least according to one sketchy translation for Shiloh Nouvel. So maybe someone slapped some sense into Britney’s head (and the Juicy Fruit out of her mouth) before she inspired another visit from the L.A. Department of Children and Family Services. But what hath Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wrought? Will paparazzi-hating celebrities now take their personal business to a Third World nation whose cash-poor government is only too happy to jail journalists, browbeat paparazzi and otherwise kowtow to celebrities. Before Brangelina, Michael Jackson (remember him?) did something similar. Soon after his 2005 child molestation acquittal, Jackson fled Neverland with Blanket & Co. to roam the United Arab Emirates, where he now depends on the kindness of royalty. Even if Jackson’s cash flow is in distress, he can still barter his tarnished fame and surround himself with wealthy yes men. It seems that hanging with look-the-other-way sultans is a far wiser move than cowering in Los Olivos. Now Jackson, perhaps spurred by Jolie’s adoption of two Before Brangelina, Michael Jackson (remember him?) did something similar. Now Jackson, perhaps spurred by Jolie’s adoption of two foreign children, is looking to adopt his own from Japan. No self-respecting U.S. adoption agency is going to give him an American kid. Even if past charges are groundless, he still falls 50 miles short of responsible parenthood. Which brings us to the obligatory Britney cheap shot: Maybe the Namibian government isn’t so strict with car seat laws. According to one Namibian rights group, they certainly look shaky on civil rights. Anything for a star To ensure the comfort and privacy of their Hollywood guests, Namibian police, along with Brangelina’s bodyguards, allegedly conducted unwarranted door-to-door searches for paparazzi — those same foul creatures who forced Britney to forego a car seat. Despite accusations from Namibia’s National Society of Human Rights, a police spokesperson denied that any journalists or residents were harassed or brutalized. Still, Namibia made good on its vow to protect Brangelina: expelling three French paparazzi and a South African photographer. So Jackson is too creepy to defend, and Britney’s charity doesn’t extend beyond giving K-Fed her PIN number. As a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, Angelina Jolie offers the argument that she’s bringing attention to Third World woes. She recently told Anderson Cooper that she and Pitt are looking to add another adopted child to the Brangelina brood. According to Angelina, it’s just a matter of “which country, which race would fit best with the kids.” But for all her humanitarian work, Angelina thinks globally and fails to act locally. This is where we’re heading, kids. The rich can use wealth and inclination to get royal treatment, and the vanishing middle class can eat it. If Angelina admitted she gave birth on the other side of the planet just to get away from her estranged dad Jon Voight, we might could forgive her. But no. Angelina tells us about sick, starving children and auctions baby pics for charity. Meanwhile, she and baby daddy Pitt are happy to be honored guests in a nation with a tenuous grasp on civil liberties. Back home, our own civil rights crumble around our ears, the Feds have secured the right to listen to our phone calls and the Supreme Court just OK’d it for cops to barge into our homes without knocking. (Maybe we’re hiding paparazzi!) Brangelina may have wished to bring their child into the world in a very special way, but when you consider the message their Namibian adventure sent, perhaps they’re doing their small part to wreck the world in which that kid must live. Oh, well. Let them eat People magazine.

UNbelieveable. You people are defnding these ******** like they are your siblings. Just goes to show you, you can become anything you want if you convince enough people. This isn’t an Aniston rant, I could care less about her too. And while I read these comments because they crack me up, mostly, I am embarassed that you folks are Americans. No wonder people think we are a vapid, selfish, celeb obsessed idiots. Glad you took the bait on Jolie’s PR campaign. She probably wouldn’t have had much of a career left after stealing away Pitt from America’s sweetheart or whatever she’s called. No worries, she started this humanitarian BS after her nonsense displays and weirdness with her 2nd hubby, Thornton. Listen people-maybe you’re not aware. Pitt=never graduated from high school from what I remember reading. Jolie=high school diploma. OOOOOOO-big freakin deal! These people have HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMAS AT BEST and people are acting like they’re the pinnacle of education on the African struggle in Darfur, the Congo, etc? Scholars have been taking this struggle on for YEARS. Why has noone listened before? I’ll tell you why. Scholars don’t have PR wizards. We pay people like this millions, to dribble a ball, to act in a really bad movie (hello Tomb Raider hardly qualifies as Oscar material), but we can’t pay teachers in this country much above the poverty line to teach our next generation. Stop it. Stop the celeb obsession and go out and DO SOMETHING. For your country. For the world. And stop waiting for Hollywood to give you permission because "so and so" is doing it. Sheep.

She and Vince will never last, not that Brad and Angie will either. Even the psychics have it right this time, check this out: http://www.psychiclovedoctor.com/blog199e/

#172-uh-ohThat is a very prejudicial, one-sided article. Most of the Namibian folks don’t feel that way (google the Namibian papers). There is this one group stirring up trouble and claming abuse that didn’t happen. And if you study AFrica–all of the countries have a tenuous grasp on civil liberties. Civil liberties in Africa is one revolution away–from either being reinstated, instated or taken away.Brad and Angie brought a lot of attention to a country that is struggling to find its democratic roots. They personally poured a lot of money into that countries economy and the President and tourism board have both said that inquiries, visits and tourism is up because of the focus the Jolie-Pitts gave the country. These are countries (like most of Africa) where people make less than $3/day–that is less than a bag of large potato chips here. MAny of them live in small 8×8 corrugated buildings with no running water/sanitation facilities. They barter charcoal, onions or whatever else they can from outside their front door. For the Jolie-Pitts to stay in Namibia meant some of them had jobs, some of them sold goods, some of them will continue reaping the benefits of their visit when other tourists come. And you begrudge them this?Gosh, maybe they would have been better served to come to Chicago and sit out on the balcony of a five star hotel like Jen and Vince and make out for the whole world to see. Now that would have been productive behavior.
