#187, yeah rightI don’t think Brad left Jen because of Angie’s looks–he left Jen and her sarcasm, her trust (distrust) issues, her whining etc., for a person that had goals similar to his where it counts–children, charity, etc. That doesn’t make Jen a bad person–we are just tired of her whining. In one of the very first interviews that Brad and Jen gave (was it Diane Sawyer), the interviewer asked if they wanted kids. Brad said a half dozen and Jen rolled her eyes and said one, maybe two. Right there I thought, mmmm–reality check—they aren’t going to last. Jen made a lot of sarcastic type comments thruout the marriage about brad and his passion for architecture as well as some other things. Angie says "he has so many qualities others don’t know about." Jen had mentioned she has deep issues with trust and didn’t want to have a baby until they were resolved. Brad and Jen went together seven years. Maybe she should have worked faster to resolve them. So they didn’t agree on kids (but Angie and Brad share the same passion for them), they didn’t agree on charity work (Jen stated a couple of times that she didn’t like the UN, charity wasn’t her thing), she denigrated his interest in architecture, she doesn’t like to fly (and he loves it. Long before Angie was on the scene, cracks appeared in the marriage, but so many were blind because they were the golden couple–that they didn’t look below the surface.Brad and Angie are a much better couple in terms of life goals. Will they last? Probably not, most of hollywood appears to not last. Will Jen last with her new partner/husband–probably not. Does this make them bad people? No. It makes them human and flawed.And oh yes, I give to charity–both time (in Africa working with the environment every other year) and money. And you are right, I didn’t give a contribution this morning to the UNHCR–I gave one last night.
