Babel Review (Brad Pitt)
A couple more pictures of Brad Pitt posing with (Japanese?) tourists in Santa Monica after his business meeting for his upcoming film project "A Mighty Heart." If you’ve never seen the video of this, watch it here. If you missed Angelina Jolie’s interview on Anderson Cooper 360°, read it here. Babel starring Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, and Gael García Bernal is directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu (21 Grams, Amores Perros) and will be released this fall on October 27. You can read the first Babel review by a fan who attended a test screening and said, "This is a movie of unity at its core." More pictures in the gallery!

Yeah, i’m first !
I heart this man ! Brad go, go,go !!!
What an adorable picture. What a smile!
Brad really looks great and happy. He has the most gorgious woman, three beautiful kids, and his career is just going better and better. What more can a man ask for?
Brad is sooo damn hot! And now he has found the woman of his life and they want both a big family with more children! Angie and Brad look so right for each other!!!
I could eat that little girl with a spoon. When she’s older, she’ll appreciate that mom and dad took the picture of her next to the nice man–ya think?
Brad is so kind and down to earth. I mean he don’t have to do that. lucky fans. I think they are Japanese fan, Japanese fan tend to be die heart and very devoted.
CUTE CUTE CUTE :DMY BRAD IS A GREAT MAN, I ADORE HIM!ANGIE AND THE KIDS ARE SO LUCKY !!!
HI everyone. Thanks for the pic JJ.When ANGIE said what country what race a balance for MAD & Z about the adoption, people took it futher and turned it around the wrong way as always but I think we all know it’s not about racism, it’s not about photo op for good PR it’s about her passion for children.I think BP & AJ are giong to have 6 kids, 2 bio and 4 adopted. I think the balance she means that they will adopt another Asian boy to identify with MAD and another African baby girl to identify with little Z that’s just my own opinion.
Brad is so cute, look at that smile. He is so hot and adorable. lucky gal Angie!
i hate brad with angelina jolie, but in this pic brad looks really cute cute.
I love this guy, Brad is just too awsome. I would love to be able to take a picture with both him and Angelina. Well maybe someday. He is looking hot as always
For Brad to take time and give this family something to remember is a reflection of how he is a great guy. Brad even removed his helmet before the picture taking. No moviestar complex and a genuine smile for the camera. Angie is so lucky to have Brad in her life and vice versa. Despite their detractors, worldwide they have more supporters.
# 9 | medulla =====================That sounds logical to me, maybe that is what she meant.
And there is always something that seems a little shy about him, he has a slight shyness, that makes him even more sexy and hot, and likeable
Asian boy? Or an Asian girl just like the one in the picture here. And an Africa boy. And then a Caucation boy. :)
I think he wanted to make sure that he wouldn’t look like posing as a husband in the picture. :)That looks like a sweat modern-day Japanese husband taking the picture of his wife and daughter with BP. The mother must be a fan.
Angelina is very lucky to have BRAD.
# 3 | kidi | - DittoThanks JJ for the new Thread and the pictures
# 18 | anon | - ITA but he is also very lucky to have Angelina as well
This is the most expression I’ve seen on this man’s face in over a year. Interesting that he looks happiest when he’s not being drug around behind AJ at an airport or banished ouside the "African compound" to play with the children" (he didn’t look happy then either) This man in true hollywood through and through despite the ticket he brought from AJ’s crotch to board the humantarian train. She’s long since cut him off….it was used as bait, he bit and is now stuck. One can only pretend to be something they ARE not for so long before blowing up. Whatch for the fireworks.
BABEL REVIEW Sunday, June 11, 2006divided we fall http://fishbowlfilms.blogspot.com/2006/06/divided-we-fall.htmlAs told in the book of Genesis, the story of the Tower of Babel…All mankind unties together and decides to build a tower that reaches to the heavens so that they can be like God. Due to their arrogance and blasphemy, God curses man, making them all speak different languages, there fore causing mass confusion and stopping the construction of the tower. No one can communicate and they spread out around the world.BABEL is the new film from Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (AMORES PERROS, 21 GRAMS) and his collaborator, Guillermo Arriaga who wrote both of his previous films as well as this new one. This is the third part of a planned trilogy of films involving multiple storylines, loss, confusion and redemption that show the connection between all of the characters involved. This film premiered last month at the Cannes Film Festival where it won the Best Director prize.BABEL is a look at four different stories that take place all around the world and have both literal and thematic connections to each other. The title refers to the confusion that fills the entire world motivated not only by a language barrier, but every difference that we have with our fellow man. These differences include language, culture, borders, and disabilities. This confusion leads to fear and misunderstanding that leads to violence and tragedy. I don’t want to get into the specifics of the four stories, but they are all equally interesting and engaging, so it did not matter to me that their connections were not obvious right away. The people and their journeys entranced me. I would recommend going into this film knowing as little as possible about the plot and the circumstances that these people go through. The performances in the film are fantastic, but there are two standouts. The first is a young actress, Koji Yakusho, who plays a young girl in Japan that is deaf and mute. You feel her frustration, pain and desperation as you follow her story. The other performance and the best of the film is delivered by Brad Pitt. He will be the marketing key to the movie as he is the only real movie star, but he is incredible. The range of emotion and realism that he conveys will catch you off guard and will surely be remembered come Oscar season. Inarritu is an incredible talent as a filmmaker and it is clearly evident here. His style and hand held approach puts you into all of the stories so that you can immediately identify with them. While the stories jump back and forth in both time and location, I never felt lost or confused, just captivated. All of the stories have a literal connection, but the one that stuck with me was the thematic connection. By highlighting all of our differences and showing how they can tear us apart, he really shows how we are all the same. Human beings, despite their differences in language, culture, boarders and disabilities, are all linked and similar. BABEL is a somber movie that seems to dwell in the misery and desperation of its characters, but I think there is much more to it than that if you let it. There is a hope and a call for understanding so that our differences do not continue to tear us all apart. For me, this is a movie of unity at its core and I really hope that people can keep an open mind while watching it. It will stay with you long after you leave the theater and give you plenty to think about.
yup your’e an idiot!
Gosh, could this man be any more hotter and that smile is beautiful
I can’t wait for Babel to come out, looking forward to this movie.OT: Ghana: 1 USA: 0
